These include a a range of locally-made ice creams, preserves, fruit juices and bakery products, as well as unusual cooking ingredients. (It's the first time I've seen black salt on sale.) There's a delicatessen counter and a large butchers within the shop - the latter doing a roaring trade on our visit. It's a bit pricey but it's the quality and local sourcing you're paying for. It's a perfect place to buy gifts for friends and family, if they like good produce. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly. There's a parking area at the front. Highly recommended.

Like most farm shops they sell a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables that you can either choose to pick your own or buy ready picked. Our girls love going strawberry and raspberry picking, and later in the season we go back for apples, pears and plums. The food is grown using mostly organic methods where possible and tastes great. They also sell ice-creams and other refreshments and there is a picnic area and toilets on hand too. It's also great to be able to support a local business by buying locally grown produce.

We buy almost all of our fruit and veg from here. The owner buys his fruit and veg stock on a Friday, mainly from local small scale producers and I much prefer to get stuff from him than the market, as it's not battered and tastes wonderful. Some of the stock is a bit past it's best towards the end of the week as it's not refreigerated, but once he's been out on a Friday everything is nice and fresh for most of the week. In addition there's a farm shop, with it's own section for pet feed, and currently a Christmas Barn with decorations displayed by colour. In summer the maze is open, and the goats, geese, Vietnamese pigs and sheep are there to see all year. They even brought some dog biscuits and offered a bowl of water for them. The food is obviously home made and tasty with it the cakes are just fabulous, with the only problem being which to have. The large sized portion meening you could not have two :-) The staff were very friendly, but courteous and not in any rush to push you out the door. Prices are more than fair. Will definitely be going back again.
