Wonderful Mackinac and Much More I took a trip with Tours of…read moreDistinction that hit all the high spots. Our first stop was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and we were left to explore this fabulous museum at our own pace, I enjoyed that because there were certain eras of music I liked better than others. The next day our tour guide gave us the lay of the land and we got to spend the whole day at Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum, it was great because again, we had the flexibility to see things at our own pace. After that, we headed to Mackinac Island - for me the highlight of the trip. The boat ride went smoothly so did the horse and carriage rides around the island and lunch at the Grand Hotel was amazing. Again, the best thing about this portion of the trip was that after our horse and carriage guided tour and lunch at the Grand Hotel, we had plenty of time to go shopping for fudge. The surprise of the trip was Frankenmuth known as America's Little Bavaria - what fun we had there in a German-styled restaurant. The cool part of this trip was seeing Niagra Falls from the Canadian side. I liked this trip because it included a wide variety of top attractions and left me with enough free time to explore on my own. Our tour leader was knowledgeable, told us to order white fish on Mac Island, and was very familiar with all the attractions. She even brought the movie, Somewhere in Time to show on one of the long motorcoach rides to catch the bus to Mackinac Island. The food was good, the best was the buffet at the grand hotel, family style in Frankenmuth was also a treat - the chicken was delicious. If you are looking to see a variety of attractions with enough time left over to explore on your own, this trip packs a lot of bang for the buck. Date of experience: June 14, 2024

Customer service when there was a problem was not good--the tone from their reps was not helpful. They were unwilling to work with us when a situation arose and we had to cancel. Poor customer service -they were not willing to work with us at all. Instead their reps just kept telling us to refer to the payment agreement.

I can't thank matt smith at New EnglandTrim enough. First for the amazing job on the interior. But…read moremostly for correcting an issue that had nothing to do with his work. Matt being the guy he is went above and beyond to tape and protect the roll bar paint in my chevelle. But due to the cage not being prepped correctly the paint came off while I removed the tape. Matt could have told me to pound sand but instead told me to bring it to him and he would repaint the cage. It's really nice to work with people who care about your projects. This has been a dream of me and my dads for years and just as I thought things couldn't get any worse matt swooped in and saved the project. I honestly would never use anyone else but matt at New England Trim. Thank you again you don't know how much we appreciate what you did for us

The windshield had to be removed and replaced after the installation of the liner. Lindsey coordinated with the glass company (Roy's) and they got the whole job done in less than 32 hours. They did an outstanding job on the headliner and thoroughly cleaned the interior. They were highly recommended to me by a local Body Shop. AND, I would highly recommend these people to anyone! The only downsides were waiting for an appointment (because they're in big demand), and my wife didn't like the smell of the adhesive after we picked it up. I should have waited a few days before taking her for a ride... All thumbs up!!!

I have been on the Milford Pedal Cruise before and both are just a super fun way to get together with a group of 22 of your friends and have a great time on the water. Here are some things you'll need to know: The Pier Pressure II is Stamford's only pedal powered party boat operated on Stamford Harbor and goes out into the Long Island Sound. It's a 90 minute excursion that is perfect for corporate outings and team building, as well as office, bachelorette, family, friends and birthday celebrations. It fits 26 guests at 12 pedaling stations & benches, a bar table, coolers, has a bluetooth stereo and also a bathroom. Private Cruises begin at $749 and Public Cruises are sold by the ticket, starting at $55, and seat up to 22 passengers. Guests do tip the Captain & First Mate since they rely on it to pay their bills. Suggested tip for Private Cruises: $200-300 and $10-15 per person for Group Cruises. BYOB! Drinks - beer, wine, hard seltzers, ciders, canned cocktails and the like are suggested. Please avoid bringing glass on board. Only guests 21 years of age or older may bring or consume alcoholic beverages. Don't forget some water. Bring Ice - they do not provide ice :) Bing Snacks - keep in mind it can be breezy on the boat. Cups, utensils, plates, napkins, etc - we do not carry these onboard, so please bring what you need and consider bringing reusable items to help the environment and reduce trash. Depending on the time of year and weather, don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, rain poncho or jacket. It does get cooler on the water- so bring a hoodie :) Lastly- free parking can be found at the Harbor Point Garage at 855 Pacific Street, Stamford, CT 06902 located between Washington Blvd & Harbor Point Rd. Other parking options include street parking and the lot at 200 Washington Blvd. They highly encourage using Uber, Lyft & taxi services, as well as the Metro North Train, a 15 min walk to the meeting location. Their waiting area is located at 1 Harbor Point Rd, Stamford, CT 06902 down the steps and under the blue canopy. You'll see Pedal Cruise signs along the way. Staff will let you and your group down to the boat through a locked gate when the boat is ready for boarding. Please do not enter through the gate without a Pedal Cruise staff member since it is private property. Cheers and have the best time! We sure did!
