This place was SardenhA-mazing While I don't speak a wink of Portaguese, the staff was all super amazing and helped me order! I got some of the best food I've had on my trip to Brazil. Their Arapas are especially awesome! 10/10 hidden gem read more

Perhaps my life would have been changed and I would have moved to south America to fulfill my dreams of living on the Beach in Florianopolis I found this place from being a winner in Sao Paulo's "Cool Old Bar" contest. I'm sure the contest has another name - something with a B- but I don't recall it. This place has been around since the 1960's and has a different vibe than the rest of the restaurants and bars I have been to in Sao Paulo. Very neighborhood and easy going. We had the ham hock and sour kraut... all very good. Don't think about walking the neighborhood at night- take a cab to and from this cool bar/ restaurant.
