The one on the half a head dummy looked beautiful, ok my description of the display may not be selling it to you but it was a really pretty and unusual looking piece of jewellery. This shop is probably more mother of the bride by looking at the outfits on display. They do have a good range of accessories, from fasinators, handbags, scarfs and jewellery. The ladies were very helpful and the lady who initially served me got the necklace from the shop window for me. It was a little more than I would have liked to have spent but it really was pretty and would go perfectly with my outfit. So next time you're in Hamilton ladies have a wee look. It does feel very intimate as it's a small sized shop but it's very brightly lit and you can see in through the window display, so I would window shop first before heading in. By the way there's no way you'll get 'Madonna Voguing' here, a wee disappointed but I'll get over it. I just keep it all in my head instead. Vogue!

When I was about 7 or 8, I used to bug my mum to take me here for a pair of shiny new patent dolly shoes, which would be the envy of all my pals on the first day back to Primary School. The best part was the feet measuring machine, which I would jump onto and stand, waiting for the electronic measuring tape to move and for the woman to tell me what size I was. Unluckily, for my Dad's wallet, I was always a half size, making finding and buying shoes difficult and expensive. I always came to Crichton's shoes for my footwear, right up until I was about 10 or 11 and decided that bright white Nike trainers were cooler. The shop specialises in the measuring and fitting of shoes, which is fantastic for kiddies who have growth spurts all the time. Upstairs in here is dedicated to Kids shoes, and downstairs to adults. The shoes are expensive though, at around £25-£40 per pair of shoes for children, which can be seen as a bit excessive. However, they do last and are really beautiful and comfortable, so perhaps worth spending more on something that will last a full term.

The staff are friendly we went in with a young child to get their feet messured and found the staff to be approachable and helpful talking not only to us but also to the child. The shoes were quite expensive at £30.00 a pair so be warned! The fact that the children's and adult departments are seperated is ideal as it allows the children to walk around freely without annoying or getting in anyones way. The shoes are well displayed.

Great little corner PC Shop run by a committed guy who knows about computers. He gets some great…read moredeals in his shop which isn't untidy in the way that many computer shops which include repairs are. Products are clearly visible and he offers PC Repair, Custom Building, sales of parts and accessories such as CD-R/RW's, DVD-R/RW's, usb sticks etc etc. Rather than just sell you a product he will listen to what you need and provide excellent advice, even if it means he doesn't make huge money. Prices are impressive for products available.

I…read morehad zero intention of ordering my dress and was expecting to just try on a few to get an idea of what I wanted. I wasn't expecting anything fancy as from the outside it looks like it may be a plain and simple shop - I was wrong. It's such a little gem of a place, warm cosy and just lovely! The owner is so down to earth and couldn't have been more relaxed. I could honestly have bought any dress I tried on - they were beautiful and very different to what I'd seen at wedding shows and online. I ordered the 3rd dress I tried on (even though I tried on 8 in total) there was no rush, no sales push and just a lot of fun! We were given cakes, handmade biscuits which were stunning, wine & soft drinks! So far the best experience yet in my wedding planning - cannot wait to wear my beautiful dress in 2015. Please visit this gorgeous shop! You will not be disappointed.

My experience really only extends to the bike corner of this depressing shed…read more And there in the grime I found a poor selection, unless you're in the market for a chunky, ugly (chugly™), cheapo, mountain bike with rediculous looking suspension. There was also limited bike accessories when compared to proper bike shops and the knowledge of the staff was distinctly lacking and they seemed more interested in attempting to con me into sigining for a store card than find what I was looking for. Generally quite crappy and a waste of time and money.

On my last visit I was met with a surly twenty something unable or unwilling to assist with my enquiry. To be honest they were largely unresponsive and if it weren't for there keenness to get away from me I would have thought them a corpse. Of course it's been a while since I was in there, so the surly twenty something may have left, it seems to be largely by-the-by though as I've discovered a larger and more friendly store in Kingsgate retail park in East kilbride.
