I've gone in several times the past few months and see the same things sitting there. Some prices are fair but some things are just priced way too high for what they are getting them for. I hate to even tell y'all about this place, but as someone who relies on Yelp for every new place I try, I simply MUST explain how amazing this place is! I shop here all the time. I don't even buy new anymore because of this place. Resale is the way to go. I found a PERFECT LBD (little black dress) here for $5. Five. Dollars. Seriously. And just today, I bought 7 new tops, one fancy wool jacket from Old Navy, one pair of red high heels, and a black clutch (all photos are posted!) for $43 plus the $25 credit ($68 total) I got a couple weeks back when I sold them about 6 tops I didn't want anymore. It's incredible! I always find something here: shoes, jewelry, purses, dresses, tops. Their tops are usually $3-5, their dresses are anywhere from $5-12 - and they have a pretty nice selection of used formal dresses that are usually only up to $20, if that. Just go give the place a thorough look, or at the very least sell them some of your clothes (so I have more to look through). You won't be disappointed! The staff there are almost always rude and have poor customer service skills. They also like to raid what you bring in to sell and pay you an average of $1-$2 per item. Then they turn around and sell it for 4-5 times the amount. After seeing what they mark my old clothing items as in comparison to what little they give me for them I have not gone back. I have found far better places in Grand Junction to sell my clothes. What a rip-off. read more

I sell clothes at Fashion Junkie now that I discovered their store. I don't get the kind of money for my barely worn clothes like I did in the greater Los Angeles area. I used to average $10-20 per item in LA. But, I am thankful they are in Grand Junction, Colorado. I recently moved to Fruita, Colorado from the LA area. Locally, I am paid more for the items I sell, an average of $4 per item at Fashion Junkie. Whereas, RUNWAY, also located in Grand Junction, I would average $2-3 per item sold. Fashion Junkie appreciates and buys most of the items I bring in to them. I also purchased a nice Marc Jacobs black leather hobo style handbag for $10! It normally sells for $350 at regular price in a department store like NORDSTROM or MACY'S. They have a nice, friendly staff that works there too. Two thumbs up! read more

Definitely way better shopping than anything GJ offers. Don't bother with Kohl's, Walmart, or Target. Ever.

I love the children's section of this store- lots of great clothes for a fraction of the cost of new. The women's section is ok but they could be a little more selective of what they put out. A lot of mediocre items to dig through to find something great. read more

I had been going to sell my clothes to this company for years. However over the past times I have went in I haven't been so pleased. The bigger dirty blonde girl that they have running the store should not be running it. She has no business working in the fashion Industry. She has the worst customer service skills and is VERY rude. Because of her I will not be returning. She always gives me the lowest price for my clothes; the owner used to give me D prices when I went in to sell my clothes. This girl would give me 50 cents probably 10 cents if she could. I went in today and she did not even look at my clothes and she said nope on those, while the other girl was about to take my jeans, the blonde chick said no. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES TO SELL. read more

made a mess of the items i brought in. couldn't tell outfits were together and took a lot of my clothes for only giving me $10 cash/ $16 store credit. The male owner had chastised me previously for going to a competitor to sell my baby clothes prior to coming to his store. He told me he'd give me more than they did. 'Look how much he was buying from me AFTER i had gone to them' he said and to come to him first next time. He didn't appreciate that i had gone elsewhere first. Kid you not. So i came with a box full. He was not there and perhaps that is the deciding factor. The woman i had was busy visiting what seemed to be family members while sorting through (rummaging) my things. I left my husband there and went next door. That was my mistake as he said she did not take very much. Well, when i got home and went through it all, i discovered she did indeed take MUCH. I had recommended this to a friend. She went and this same woman took none of her items and also gave it back to her all thrown back in. read more

Not sure what it is with consignment stores in the Grand Junction area but this one fits in with the rest. An emphasis on the junk in Junkie. If you have quality clothes to sell don't bother stopping here, actually in this town you are better off donating them to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or hospice and writing it off on your taxes. If you have a lot of cheap made-in-China, low quality clothes with bling then they will probably take what you have. And what's up with that smell? This place rocks. When my kids were little we would shop at their Fashion Junkie Kids store next door ALL THE TIME. I pretty much stopped buying new stuff because the stuff here is just as cute as new, but WAY cheaper. When my girls outgrew the kids store we started going next door to the grown-up Fashion Junkie, and it was just as awesome. Cute clothes dirt cheap. Plus, I love that I can turn stuff in for store credit. I don't even live in Grand Junction any more, but when we go there to visit relatives we make it a point to stop in at Fashion Junkie. read more

I don't think I've ever been treated so rudely. They looked at the clothing and accessories I brought in as if they were repulsive and regarded me the same. I brought in Ralph Lauren shoes in perfect condition, tops purchased at Razzamatazz fairly recently. So unfriendly, so disdainful.
