This place is a joke. Called and asked for a pickup order. My office is a block away. They refuse to take phone orders, saying that you have to order through DoorDash. Apparently so that you can pay 25-35% more for a sandwich. Worst customer service that I've ever even heard of. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered from this sandwich shop two days ago, on a Saturday, and honestly, it was absolutely delicious! Definitely loved their food. The service was kind of strange though because I was not allowed in the building due to the fact that they were only accepting online orders at the time, which I did put in a pick up order but wasn't allowed inside to pick it up, they brought it out to my car so I can't really say how the ambiance is inside the store because I never went in haha. Menu has many different options, the staff is friendly the food came out fast too considering you can tell it's cooked by order. I LOVED my Porky pig the pork belly was SO good nothing is too over powering It's super cute inside with some games in the back, would love to come here again instead of shops like subway for a quick bite. this place makes me so mad. and sad. I have been continuing to go here because their food is so good. but I have finally given up. they have the worst service. signs everywhere saying they don't have to serve you with condescending smiley faces under rude words. there's a framed picture of richard nixon on the wall? just to add to the general vibe ... i accidentally ordered fries without chicken and mac n cheese. so i just got really saucey, soggy fries. I asked if i could get it remade. met with a laughing "no". i asked if i could order a side of chicken, side of mac, again, just no. i said i wont eat this, can i just have a refund? i was met with a smiling, "so sorry". there are also signs saying you cant have a refund for any reason at all. the place is filled with smoke at lunch time. pretty sure this is just a house they turned into a sandwich shop. it chokes you and you can't stay in the lobby for long without a headache. the owner is rude, makes the staff rude. they don't care about treating you nicely or giving the customer what they want. they have somehow stayed open despite all these things because their food (when made the way you wanted) is so delicious. I'd been wanting to try this place. I took my daughter after school. There were signs all over about all the things they won't do for you. It seemed as if we were very much inconveniencing them. Menu is huge, sandwich was huge, but for how long we waited I expected the Reuben I ordered to be hot. It wasn't even close. Large portion sizes don't matter when it's a large portion of crap. Well the food was good but the execution of the product was failed. We ordered three sandwiches and some potato salad. Now this was about 1hr and a half before closing so this may have some of the problem. You see the potato salad was too sweet because in my opinion it was made with miracle, whip, and not regular mayonnaise and sweet pickle relish. Which is fine but it does need a touch of mustard. Also the attention to detail with the sandwiches was lacking. One of the cold sandwiches was ordered as Roast Beef with extra provolone on a white roll and oil and vinegar. What I received after getting home to eat my to go order was a roast beef sandwich with no cheese and on a sourdough roll, no oil and vinegar were told they didn't have any. read more

Placed a large order recently for multiple family members. Really not pleased with the food Quality. My chicken sandwich was not a whole piece of chicken, just a bunch of chopped pieces. My wife's burger was served plain with nothing on it at all. The onion rings were rather oily. Look, these issues may seem rather insignificant. Ate here for the first time today. The food is good (maybe priced a little high, but not crazy so), the menu is huge and interesting, the service was good, and they have a cool outdoor sitting area (though with some broken furniture). But the name is a misnomer. Definitely not fast. The big point loser here is you can't get a glass of water with your meal. I am a huuuuuge Fast Eddie's fan, and I have been since my first time back when they were behind the movie theatre. Hands down my favorite sandwich shop in Chico. I LOVE how they have so many different options on the menu, their sandwiches are customizable, and they have other goodies that you can order as well. I recently discovered their fried goat cheese salad and oomgggggg! There are not many salads that I would give up a sandwich for, but that one has done it many times! They are pretty quick, you get a free cookie, and they even have beers on tap. What more could you want?! read more

We went today for a quick lunch and thought the sandwich was okay, the service was disappointing. We got a sandwich and fountain drink and while eating our toddler woke up asking for water. We went to ask for a water cup and they said they don't give out water cups and we would have to pay. We were willing to pay, but unfortunately only had card. They charge $2.00 cash only for water cups. We informed them this way for our toddler and they said well unless you have cash we don't give out cups. I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge $2.00 cash for water after charging about $15.00 for a sandwich. Won't be going back, we used to love this place. read more

I have come here several times knowing that it is locally owned and wanting to support local businesses. However today will be my last visit. They are not customer friendly at all. On one occasion I asked for a side of mayo was told they can't do that and today I asked for the bread for the sandwich be changed from a bun to sliced sourdough and again was told no. I truly don't understand why they can't accommodate any type of request. Worst service in chico, seriously. Went there with my 3 kids on Veterans Day. Got 4 sub sandwiches and 3 drinks for the kids $65.00! Ok, no worries - inflation and what not - so I pad and asked for a water cup for myself (I don't drink soda pop). They pointed me to a water station with seriously the smallest cups ever. Serious, they were the size of the rinse cups the dentist gives you. When I asked if there were other options the lady behind the counter said no, there the cup. I asked for the owner and he can put and said "that's the f@&king water cups". Right in front of the kids - like really?? I said dude - don't curse in front of my kids and he said that's the cups what do you want? I said at least offer to sell me a regular cup for 50 cent so I don't have to make 10 trips up here. Too many sandwiches to select from on their menu which has an ever changing prices crossed out and updated with a Sharpie. Instead of having 15 speciality sandwiches they list other confusing versions that cannot be modified etc. after having lunch for two, $34, I think 5th Street would have been cheaper. The signage around the restaurant is for preschoolers and are outright rude. For a guy who is only open for 6 hours a day he needs to get his shit together and hire people with interpersonal communication skills. As for the sandwich - mine was good but it should be for $16. We tried your sandwich shop for the first time today. I really liked the fried goat cheese salad & my husband is a fan of the Philly cheesesteak! The thing we really didn't like is so many things were sticky-like hadn't ever been wiped off. The tray that food was served on, the salt shaker & both the baskets were grossly sticky. I have zero respect for a restaurant that is totally unconcerned about a customer's food allergy. I had been told what a nice place but when I was asking for choices where pork wasn't involved I was completely ignored. I repeated that I have an anaphylactic reaction to pork and it could potentially kill me. The girl rolled her eyes at me, looked back at a co-worker and smirked, then told me I should go someplace else then, since I was so "pushy".
