I DO NOT APPRECIATE being Singled out, Called out, and STALLED at the register while some UPSELLING SALESMAN tries to get me to spend $33 more money on the bloody MEMBERSHIP. Apparently, my membership ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR COSTCO, So they try to UPSELL me in the F'ING CHECKOUT LINE. The clerk calls out LOUDLY "REWARDS"... and some dude with a SCREEN intervened in my sale and STALLS OTHER CUSTOMERS while he tries to UPSELL MY MEMBERSHIP. We spend maybe $100 a month at costco and if that isn't good enough for these VULTURES then F'em. Upselling me to a higher cost membership was a HUGE Mistake, so maybe they can live without my measly $100. What unprofessional, used car lot tactics. I am TRULY offended. Grocery Outlet is cheaper and MUCH FRIENDLIER.

They sell them in bags of 8 now, instead of requiring you like before to but two bags of six for a dozen bagels. The new price is basically $5.00 for 8, so I guess the price per bagel has gone up, but what hasn't. !!HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! THE BAGELS ARE NOW WATER BOILED!! What that means is they're more like real bagels like you would find in an actual bagel shop, a more dense and chewy bagel, yeah like New York I guess, even though I've never been. The previous bagels were basically fluffy beard donuts! Costco ended their association with Einstein's bagels (the bread donut ones) and now makes their own using water boiling before baking. They're a little smaller around, but denser. I got a bag, just watch the dates. The staff was just putting some new one out. All the normal flavors are out the including cinnimon rasin. I tried them and, whoa, what a difference, it way better. Maybe not totally as good as an actual bagel shop, but way better than what they had before. I used to avoid Costco bagels, but not any more. Try them out! I just wish they were pre sliced ... that might be asking too much.

Since it's been "Chef'Store, prices have gone up, and quality has gone down. Went in to purchase…read moreboneless skinless chicken thighs, $3.50+ a pound, didn't purchase them. Last time I was in Chef'store I purchased bone in, skin on thighs, they were about the size of pigeon thighs, couldn't serve those to guests. They no longer carry a LOT of things that the old Cash n Carry use to have. 10 pound bag of onions was a pretty decent price, but the yellow onions in that bag were really small, not medium to large like the old Cash n Carry. I'll be sticking with CostCo from now on to purchase what I need, more of a variety, better quality, and priced more reasonably, even WITH the membership fee.

Wow, Costco pharmacy is going into quite a transformation. If you haven't been there lately, they…read moreare currently under construction in the entire pharmacy area and partially in that shopping area as well. They have the entire area blocked off currently, even the aisles that used to not be part of the part pharmacy are blocked off. I asked one of the pharmacy techs what was happening and was told they are expanding the pharmacy first floor and also building a second floor, which will house all of the pharmacists, where they will work separately. I didn't quite understand what the actual expansion was about. It seems like a lot of work to add a second story so that the pharmacists can be upstairs while the bottom level is used for pick up. Clearly, I'm a little confused on the actual reason for the 2nd story expansion. They also have a new "pay ahead via text" as well as "pick up from a locker" which I think is great. The only thing that's annoying with the lockers is, if you need council, you have to sit there and do it at the lockers at the video screen. It's just weird and will take some getting used to. However, with that said... For what it's worth, I guess it's an improvement over having to wait 20 minutes in line to pick up a prescription. Cheers to not having to wait in long pharmacy lines any more, yahoo!

DISABLED PEOPLE BEWARE!! NUG Red Bluff doesn't care to help you - ALIEN LABS Cartridge defect. I'm a long time customer of the Red Bluff Nug store . I have a doctors recommendation on file. I can only receive deliveries as I am bedridden. The delivery man even knows if my caregiver is not here, I can electronically unlock the door and he lets himself in and brings my items and his paperwork that I need to sign right to my bed, then lets himself out. It's extremely helpful. Today, within an hour of my delivery, I discovered the Alien Labs Planetary OG 510 Cartridge was defective. I have 4 different brands of 510 batteries. I put it in my favorite battery first. The bat light blinked twice, it normally doesn't . When I tried to press the button to inhale the battery again blinked twice and I could not hit it. I put it in my second battery and received the same results . I also tried it in my third and fourth battery's and again the battery blinked twice and would not allow me to hit the cartridge. I immediately called NUG RED BLUFF, spoke with the inventory manager. I explained the problem with the ALIEN LABS CARTRIDGE. She told me to bring the cartridge and it's original packaging and my receipt to the store . They will then test it with their own 510 battery and if indeed it does not work will offer me a replacement or refund. I explained that I could provide the original packaging my receipt and the faulty cartridge, but because I am bedridden, I would need to send someone age 21 or older in to the store with the original packaging the faulty cartridge and my receipt. She said that it would have to be me personally or she would not be able to do anything. I suggested that she give her 510 battery tester and a replacement cartridge to their Delivery Man, who could then come into my home as usual and test the faulty Alien Lab Planetary OG cartridge on Nugs 510 battery tester, and if he determines it is faulty, he could trade me the faulty alien lab planetary OG cartridge for a different one. She refused to do that for me. I reminded her that I was bedridden and that I spend quite a bit of money there every month . They could look back at my orders and see that. She said I could try contacting Alien Labs. I stated that I was dissatisfied with this service and may need to take my business elsewhere . She said okay and hung up . I also want to mention that I never raised my voice and was only looking for solutions that we could use to solve this problem . The problem that could be easily solved with sending their delivery man with their battery tester and a replacement . A simple act of kindness for a long term good spending customer., and to prevent a bad review for NUG RED BLUFF and their product supplier ALIEN LABS. I will be using other methods instead of NUG from now on . They don't have any problem taking money away from a disabled person but they sure don't want to help a disabled person out when they've given me a bad product. I have never tried to return anything to them before . This is the first time in 2 years I've had a problem and now that I see how they refuse to handle it i'm very disappointed. And I am sending a copy of this complaint to ALIEN LABS. I hope one of them will make this right.

It's a shame to see what this place has become. They can only afford to have 1-2 staff members on…read moreshift at any given time, which leads to incredibly long wait times. We have other options in Red Bluff so the idea of "if they want it, they will wait" doesn't work here. We can literally drive down the street to a place with a much larger selection and faster service. They do not get involved with the community like Sundial does, they are just another big business trying to steal money from a small market. I wanted this shop to succeed, but the amount of support this store provides to the community shows should show you exactly what their priorities are.
