Costco gas prices in the middle of nowhere? Yes; this Fastrip in "downtown" Coalinga is very economical compared to other gas stations. For example, say you're driving along the i-5 in Coalinga and you stop at the Jayne Travel Center right off of the i-5; you'll be paying 2.00 dollars more for regular gas PER GALLON! Yep, it's outrageous. How about Harris Ranch? Almost two dollars more as well. Utter madness. I checked the price of Fastrip at this location compared to Costco up here where I live in the SF Bay area and it's comparable. The price of convenience is not worth it unless you have a gas emergency. I'd definitely recommend doing research if you're around the area (e.g., gas buddy website, not the app) and stopping here at Fastrip if you can. The locals know. There's lots of pumps and an indoor bathroom along with the usual gas station junk food and caffeine. read more

Haven't gone inside in quite sometime, but I do use the gas. But I was wondering why gas at the Tachi/Lemoore Fastrip is about a DOLLAR a gallon cheaper? At first, I thought we paid for them to ship the gas out to us in the middle of nowhere, but Tachi is only 34 miles away, and not that close to a highway either. I appreciate making a profit, but a DOLLAR a gallon? Very disappointed at several of the businesses here, when we are having trouble keeping businesses open and here in town, why do some remaining businesses take advantage? read more

This gas station hands down has the best prices for gas in the city. And like any other gas stations / Food Mart you will find select groceries, a full a refrigerated area of wine and beers, they even have a beer cooler section that you can walk into, it's frigid. I stop here nearly every day and get gas, lottery tickets, or something to drink. During the day the daytime attendant is a middle-aged woman who is bright and cheery and ready to help. That all disappears in the evenings the one man that I noticed that works there is a young late twenties early thirties male who is constantly on his phone and has no sense of customer service he doesn't even look at you when you're trying to make a purchase or is otherwise it's helpful in anyway. He is either talking on the phone or texting and has no time for the customer. There is a middle-aged woman on the p.m. shift that is almost identical to the way he is. She actually is a little snarly. There is a new young lady that started working PM's who is bright and cheery and very helpful. I try to get in her line if at all possible. So why two stars instead of just one? They have a few things going for them, they're perfectly located, they have the best gas prices, and they have products that I desire. read more

Received the worst service that I have ever been given in all the years that I've lived here in Coalinga. Lucky for the cashier that the names do not print on the receipts. Cheapest price gas in town and they are open 24 hours. The quality is lower the chevron 87 tech rom but still good quality. I like how they do not have 2 fees for cash and debit like the other gas stations in town have. read more
