I walked in one afternoon after shopping at a neighboring store and though, I do need a sign and I might as well get it from here (convenient location for me). So I drop in and it felt like I was completely cutting into this lady's lunch time or something. She was NOT friendly, not service oriented and when I asked her questions she made me feel like she was bothered by it. I was very annoyed. She put together my work order (for a 10x1' sign (long vinyl sign for my 10x10 pop up tent), and she made it very bland. She asked me what color. She did not give me a font choice or even tell me they can work wonders with the graphics. She gave me a quote on the most boring sign I had ever seen, and told me the graphics designer would email me in a few days with a proof. I gave her a deposit and got out of there as soon as I could. She was cold. I got the proof in email about three days later. The proof was just as boring as she had detailed it for me. I emailed the designer back - hoping he was nicer than the sales lady - and sure enough he let me know he would happily design it (he did not realize he had artistic licence on this project). So there he went, and made me a fresh design, with my colors, he added my business logo and made it match my logo font - so now it looks fantastic. I am very happy with the graphics designer they have there. But the customer service the blond hair lady gives - was aweful - could destroy that business! My poster came out great - a few too many grommets but that is because the sales lady dorked that up, and no matter how many times I told her I don't need that many - she kept putting it back on. It took forever to pick up too - I walked in at 0830 just after the employees did and they were in no hurry to help me. Very odd. I may or may not take my business back again - I will probably check the other sign place down the road first.

Several times a year, I order the same type of sign with different verbiage. In the past, I never knew what type of quality I would receive. I have to give them credit for improving their quality and consistency in the past year or two. Contrary to what the name of their business suggests, their signs are not reliably available the next business day. My biggest gripe is with their customer service. Every time I walk in the store, I feel I'm inconveniencing them. I usually have to wait 5 to 10 minutes before I'm greeted... and this is when there is nobody else in the lobby. The last time I was in the store, the woman poked her head around the corner and acknowledged me... said she would be right out... and then made me wait 10 minutes before she came out to help me. I walked around the corner and watched her walking around in the back, chatting with the workers.... apparently not doing anything important enough that should keep her from a paying customer in the lobby. All I needed to do was pick up and pay for a sign. I could see my finished sign waiting for me by the cash register. Their computer system is outdated and paying for the order is a ridiculously time-consuming procedure. I hear there's another sign company on West Street and I'll be checking them out...

I always go into a business with the best of hope that the professionals will treat my car like it belongs to a vip client. I wanted to have the roof and a-pillars of the car vinyl wrapped in gloss black. I discussed over text and sent pictures of what I wanted and was quoted $275. I had a 10am appointment at the shop about 30 minutes away from where I live. I went in and was shown the type of vinyl that would be used and Lilly pulled my quote up on the computer complete with the pictures that I sent. The first warning sign of this was that the quote jumped from $275 to $450 after I confirmed with them what I was getting wrapped on the car while doing the walk through at the car. I figured fine we're here, they're professionals, and will have it done right. After all, it is extra material even though I asked for a quote the day before and sent pictures. Next warning sign was that it was going to take 4 to 5 hours to get this done. No worries. We'll just hang out and do some shopping in the area and get lunch somewhere. Still seemed like an extremely long time to do this small of an area, but again these are professionals and maybe they wanted enough time to make sure the vinyl cured and was done right. We got back to the shop around 230 and went to check on the progress but it was going to be about another hour to do the detailing but that wasn't about cleaning the car because it was a mess on the outside. Nothing was wiped off or cleaned. Once the guy was done, we saw some imperfections in the vinyl that we were told would level out. Some smudges that seemed to be able to be removed with some cleaning solution. The worst at first glance was a scratch from an exacto knife on the trunk. The same exacto knife that was left on the windshield wiper incidentally which I pointed out to them. Willing to overlook all of this, I paid and left. We got up the next day after letting the car sit in the garage untouched overnight only to find that there were many dents in the roof as if the person was putting heavy pressure on it or some things fell on the roof. We didn't see them in the sun of the previous afternoon at the shop. Of course we called immediately after seeing this as well as the vinyl lifting and bubbling in many areas and were first asked did the car get left in the rain and then told to come back. Back at the shop, they agreed that the roof dents on the brand new car and the scratch was their fault and they would file a claim. They wanted to repair it but we just wanted it removed completely and a refund. Then it became clear that this vinyl person is a contractor for their business not an actual employee. This might be normal to outsource, but we were 'asked' to file a claim through the contractor's insurance, not the company that I paid, to expedite getting it fixed. Then the owner, after agreeing to refund us and remove the vinyl altogether said that her lawyer husband told her not to touch the car, for fear of further damage I imagine. After waiting 45 minutes, I eventually got the refund check but we were stuck with this shoddy wrap and dents in the roof. Thankfully it's in the shop right now getting repaired through insurance, but everyone keeps wondering how this even happened to the roof. Lilly seemed nice enough but if a customer is not satisfied and there is clear damage, there should be no discussions or excuses. Don't try to con me, be condescending, or smooth things over with fake excitement knowing that your guy did a terrible job. We didn't really get an apology at all just, oh it's not going to be perfect. When I pay that kind of money it better be what I expect and definitely without any damage.
