Bait and Switch operation. I feel ripped off. Price on big sign visible from Interstate says one cash price. Then you pull in and the price on the pump is something else. After I filled up went in and complained. Turns out that price is only on certain pumps. They ripped me off 20 cents a gallon. I noticed another lady taking a photo of the sign. Bet I know why. The info is on the pumps in very small letters. Who bothers to read reviews of a gas station before getting gas? A call to BBB makes more sense and then a credit card chargeback ought to get their attention. The attendant was great gave me the number to call. It was a fax. read more

We were pulled in by the low advertised price. The sign advertising the cheap gas looks like it belongs to the larger Gulf display. At the pump, we realized our error before pumping any gas. This is a scam and should be prohibited by any respectable gas outlet. There is not clear markings on the pumps rating the blends besides unleaded, and others that may be marked as something higher. A small sign states that the 'regular' is at the specific 2 pumps. A $.40 difference is more than an economy blend, it is a bait & switch. It took a while to figure out what they meant. TRAVELERS, avoid this place at all costs. Here is the scam! All Fat Dogs advertise a cheap price for gas. The scam is only one of the gas pumps has that price. The others are much higher. Today the cheap price was $1.78 and all the other pumps were $2.28. FIFTY CENTS more a gallon. A person at the gas station said the locals know it but do not like it. This station is a wee bit off of the beaten path but has hot food and curiously high gas prices (much like any other place in that area of Nebraska) the only real issue with Fat Dogs is that it is difficult to leave. (you have to make several right hand turns to U turn in a parking lot ) read more

Awful station that scams people. We stopped across the street for gas but noticed Fatdogs was advertising $0.05/gallon less, so we went avoid the street to Fatdogs. We were surprised to find the had was $0.40 HIGHER for the lowest octane gas! We did not find any cheaper priced pump and when I brought it up to the station attendant he acted offended and told me it is just the way they attract business. I found that to be a already way to do business and the owners explain to a previous review is a lie - there was no indication of "Gulf blends" vs "economy" variants of gas. Avoid this station like the plague! read more

This place was pretty gross even by gas station standards - thousands of ants crawling all over the service area and flies in the bathroom. Gas prices were much higher than I'd expected from other stops along I-80. On the bright side: good coffee. read more

Don't trust the price of gas sign that draws you into the location. When you get to the pump look at the price. Was traveling and the gas was advertised as $2.099 the same as another gas station on the other side of the road. For convenience I pulled into the one on my side of the road. Without looking (trusted the gas sign) I started to pump my gas. I was looking around and recognized the price on the pump was $2.599 so I quickly stopped pumping. I had already pumped 5 gallons so they took me for an extra $2.50 compared to what was advertised. Caveat emptor -Let the buyer beware! read more
