Honestly shocked at how horrible my experience was here. The artist is friendly, but that is all I can say to be positive. My sister and I have spent the past couple years planning the perfect tattoos to get together. We decided to get a sun and a moon (simple you would think!). I have posted photos, but it is so clear to see we hardly got what we asked for. My moon looks like a colorful cookie and my sister's sun looks like hash browns. If an artist doesn't have the skill to do a design, there is nothing wrong with admitting it but never should you wing it on someone's arm the way he so obviously did. Mine somehow took 45minutes, and then once he realized he only had 10minutes to his next appointment he slopped some orange on my sister's arm and called it done. We weren't given any ointment or even washed off before just wrapping Saran Wrap on the tattoo and sending us out the door. This is not my first tattoo, but certainly my last from this establishment. I will now be walking around with this on my arm until it heals and I can go back to my previous artist to hopefully correct. read more

I have been tattooed over the course of 3 years and never have I ever been so screwed over by a business. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE AT THE SHOP so Respectfully I would say be cautious ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have gotten a tattoo by Jason before so I thought nothing of it when I decided to go back. When I went to finish my sleeve all he did was reschedule. He had done to his over six times, mind you EVETYTHING IS DOCUMENTED THROUGH TEXT) so I don't need to lie on him as a business owner. He even tried to use guilt trip me at least 10 times using his wife's illness as an excuse and by no means can I ever respect someone doing That. Every message had some form of foul language and not once did I ever speak to him in that manner. Throughout him flaking and leaving me at the shop when he knew he never would show up I got tired and gave an ultimatum. Either finish my tattoo or respectfully refund me $120 to have my tattoo finished by my previous artist at ink envy. He even bashed the shop "Ink Envy" because I told him that's who'd finish my tat. (Also have those messages too) after all the back and forth; HE AGREED AND NEVER SHOWED. when I called 6 times he finally answered and when I said my name he hung up in my face and ignored the rest of my calls. He proceeded to call me out my name, use profane language and state I was blackmailing him EVERYTIME. He flaked every time he was supposed to meet me for my refund and threatened to call the cops on me if I came to the shop to receive my money he had agreed to more than three times. When I said I feel that he should just refund me my money so he could focus on personal issues since it was interfering with business he blocked my number. This entire ordeal went on for months and I would say do not trust him. He is a con artist. Like I said I have all the messages. And I don't delete a thing. Like I said be cautious with dealing with him ESPECIALLY if you're military. We cannot handle things the way a Civilan could and he is well aware. I came to Fat Katz initially because of the location. Jason who seemed like an awesome sweet man gave me a price and I paid it for the full tattoo and halfway through tells me that I will need to come back in about 2 weeks after what was done healed. That was fine however, after the 2 weeks went by it took me three months and a dozen scheduled appointments that he cancelled last minute literally to finally get in for him to finish something I had already paid for! To top it off the back side of my sleeve on my arm he did not shade in so it looks different than the rest of my tattoo (@ the time I could not tell as it was swollen). I have messaged him many times asking to set something up to complete the missing shading that I paid for again mind you and he has continuously ignored me. I would NOT recommend this shop for your next tattoo. read more
