I hate to leave a bad review, as the food looked delicious BUT my hamburger tasted like plastic. My husband's tasted fine, but we all ended up getting diarrhea. It was from the burger because me, my husband and my daughter had burgers and all got diarrhea and my son had the crispy chicken and he was fine. So we will not be going there again. Pathetic for this celiac girl. Made it clear with manager that I'm celiac and only wanted a single, plain hamburger patty. All fries have gluten in them so no fries for my dinner. Their shake machine was down, no shake for my dinner either. Took order to go, and what I found when I reached my destination? An all-time Fav!! Fatburger consistently serves up one of my favorite burgers. Fresh ingredients, grilled right in front of you. The age old dilemma is one Original Fatburger or two Babyfats. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, relish, mustard and you're a fool to not add bacon and cheese. They offer onion rings, Fat, and Skinny fries, but skinny are my go-to. Wow. Had low expectations as most burgers I've had recently have been pretty terrible, greasy, bland, and not what I was expecting. However....Fatburger really shocked me. I got a burger, added cheese ($1.60), with the works. The guy asked if I wanted relish on it, I said yes. I wasn't honestly too excited about the relish but it was too late to take it back. But once I took a bite, I realized it was actually amazing. The relish just sets everything off (in a good way). Very impressed with the food and will be back. Fat Burger used to be like go to cheat day. Recently, the quality of their food has declined. I have received warm fries, along with a burger that has a different seasoning on it. It's in several states & many countries, but only one location in Colorado...this one in Aurora, Co. The restaurant is roomy with lots of windows & natural light. It has a retro vibe, is clean with exceptionally comfy cushioned booths & chairs...it even has a juke box. We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon for lunch & placed our order with a very friendly service counter employee. We were given a number to place at our table & our food was brought out to us rather quickly. Drinks & condiments are self service. Everything was made fresh to order & from scratch. We split the Original Fatburger Meal (1/3 lb.) The burger was delicious & juicy. Note, if you want cheese & bacon that's an extra $1.60 each. Also, for the side we did 1/2 Onion Rings & 1/2 Sweet Potato Fries. Note, Sweet Potato Fries are an extra $1.00. The Onion Rings were awesome, not heavily battered, just perfect. The Sweet Potato Fries were some of the best I've had - thin & crispy with ridges & soft inside, super flavorful. Fun fact - "fat" burger is 50s slang for supreme, like Fat Cat. First time to a Fatburger. Service was good, place was pretty clean. I got a medium fatburger with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, and mayo. Even with the mayo, the burger was pretty dry. Maybe the patty was overcooked or something but it was also not very seasoned and was bland. The skinny fries were good though, I enjoyed those. I still would rather go to another burger chain. It's been a decade since I last ate at Fatburger and it did not disappoint. I ordered the classic Fatburger with fries and a drink. I wasn't able to eat the fries because the Fatburger was so huge. The service was very good. My order was taken promptly, and the Fatburger team prepared it exactly the way I wanted it. The restaurant was extremely well taken care of and clean. I ordered my food to go, but I was able to sit down and remember all the times that I would frequent the restaurant. This is an average burger place in my opinion. It ranks similar to in-n-out and Five Guys. I think I would actually prefer in-n-out or Five Guys over Fatbuger. The burgers were good. My only complaint is that I asked for no onions on my burger and it still came with onions. Also adding cheese costs extra ($1.60). The fries are average. I do think it is cool that they offer skinny (shoe string) fries or fat (steak) fries. I was told by a friend to order the steak fries crispy or they will be raw/undercooked in the middle. I also tried the milkshake, it was very good. I would maybe return here again if I was in the area but, this is not near my house. My hubby and I are both huge Fatburger fans and were really bummed when the Fatburger closed some years back near Park Meadows Mall. I didn't know until recently that there was a location in Aurora. Even though it was a bit of a haul to get there from where we live, we were excited to get our Fatburger fix again! This California girl loves Fatburger. The only thing I don't like about them is how expensive it is. But there is no better place for a turkey burger and onions that I can think of. I was craving a healthier option for a burger and remembered that fatburger has a turkey burger. I love how juicy it is. All the toppings make it so good. We decided to be adventurous on a Friday night and instead of going to the old standby Freddy's, try Fatburger despite the reviews. They unfortunately were right: over priced and bland. $40/ 2 adults and a kid is a LOT for fast casual. Add in that they automatically ring you up as the bigger sized burger without asking. I got the boca burger and my spouse the impossible burger. They both came out burnt as hockey pucks. My boca burger is so over cooked it's rubbery. Onion rings and fries are undercooked. Milkshake is too thick to get through a straw. They use small trays to make things look larger in photos. Don't waste your time or money here. Too many other great burger places. I called in my order because I live about 45 minutes away. When I got home to pink hamburgers I called the manager who told me to come back and he would recook my order. I explained I lived 45 minutes away and was not driving back over there and I didn't spend $57.00 to receive pink meat. He said well I cant help you. Ordered fat burger through Uber eats. The food was good and the turkey burger was flavorful and well seasoned. The lettuce,bacon,pickle and onions were very fresh on the burger. The banana shake was fantastic. The skinny fries were still warm and crispy. Uber eats was on point with their delivery time. So service for me was good. And.... he went obnoxious with the XXXL Fatburger- that would be 1.5 lbs of meat in three patties, he added cheese which was $1.00 each slice and had all the fixins- lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and over 2k calories. Plus fries and a drink and I ordered sweet potato fries for myself. Just a big mistake all around. I didn't care for the sweet potato fries- they were too thin and didn't have any flavor. Eddie tried to conquer and surrendered to the XXXL burger. I have never in my life spent over $20 on a regular beef burger, until now. So I insisted he finish the meat. I had ah bite. ONE.
