My three daughters and I have been going to Dr. Fatehi's office for years. We love the staff and Dr. Fatehi. They are kind, welcoming, and gentle. The office is modern and very clean. I also like that they text reminders for appointments which comes in handy on that rare occassion that I entered it wrong on my calendar. I get my teeth cleaned more than the twice a year coverage provided by my dental insurance and their rates are extremely fair. I highly recommend going here. read more

Been going to Dr. Fatehi since I was a young child- 28 years later and still never had a bad experience. By far the best service I have ever received. When I moved away for a bit, the biggest bummer was that I would have to find a different local dentist. Happy to say that I moved back and finally have an amazing dentist again! This is a wonderful dental office and if they are accepting new patients, I highly recommend you pay them a visit. Dr. Fatehi is hands down the best dentist that walks the earth. He has now been my dentist for well over 15+ years and I have never met such a remarkable individual. **review for hygienist and staff only** I want to say I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Fatehi BUT I just left in tears due to how rude and unaccommodating my hygienist was to me for having my daughter with me. My family and I have gone here for 13+ years and referred a lot of clients. The last time my mom came she had a similar uncomfortable experience with this hygienist. The dentist is already an uncomfortable place to be, it wouldn't hurt to be more kind to you patients. This place shouldn't be called a family dentistry if they aren't family friendly whatsoever. Dr. Fatehi is the BEST!! I've had my share of bad experiences with previous dentists. Dr. Fatehi is very honest and doesn't do unnecessary treatments. He is by far the best dentist I've ever had. He is very gentle and careful with procedures. I had some work done on a front tooth with a root canal and even the shot he gave was not painful!! There's a very specific technique he uses when administering the shot. Those shots are usually very painful. The office is very clean and staff is very nice and caring. All the 5 star reviews on here are true. Dr Fatehi is the real deal. As most of his patients I've had my fair share of terrible dentists but I also went to a wonderful dentist for more than 10 years. When we moved to ladera a year ago I had cold feet changing dentists. I am so happy that I made the jump and switched to Dr. Fatehi. I've never been given Novocain and not feel the poke and pressure. Dr. Fatehi is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I have two children and they feel extremely comfortable with Dr. Fatehi and trust him 100%. I visited this dentist today for the first time and my experience was wonderful! The dental hygienist who did the cleaning was thorough, quick and very friendly. At the end of my cleaning, Dr Fatehi came in for the final check up and he too was awesome! He was super friendly and very upbeat. The best word to describe Dr. Fatehi is "HONEST"!!!! Dr. Fatehi was the third dentist my daughter saw to figure out what she was going to due cosmetically with peg laterals after she got her braces off. The first 2 dentists wanted to charge $2,500 for cosmetic dental work that she would need to replace in 5 years due to her age and growth. Dr. Fatehi suggested we take a less expensive route (which the other 2 dentists never suggested as an option) that would still give my daughter a beautiful, dazzling, confident smile. Then we could revisit our next step once she reached her college years and was fully matured physically. I brought our orthodontist all the suggestions each dentist recommended. We were referred to Dr. Fatehi by a family member, as we were looking for a good dentist for our small children. Our son was seen back in February and was given a clean bill of oral health, Fast forward to last week. My son, who rarely eats sweets, started complaining of tooth pain. We took him back to Dr. Fatehi a few days ago and were told that his practice cannot perform x-rays on small children! We were flabbergasted to say the least. Surely we should have been told that back in February. We were referred by Dr. Fatehi to a pediatric dentist in the building next door. We ended up going there and were told that the cavities had been there for quite some time, like 6 months or so. So now my son has to have two mini root canals and 2 caps put on his teeth! He has 4 cavities! While I think Dr. Fatehi and his staff are great, it is very disappointing that he allowed us to operate without the knowledge that he doesn't provide x-ray service, which is the sure fire way to detect cavities or tooth abnormalities. Therefore, they get 3 stars from me. So beware if you have small children (5 & under) as Dr. Fatehi may not detect all issues due to the absence of taking x-rays. Other than that, they are great. read more

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Fatehi for over 10 years since we moved to Ladera Ranch. With four kids, I have had my share of dentist visits and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. By far he is the best dentist we have ever visited. His staff is on top of everything, dedicated and professional. Our teeth cleanings are painless, and i always walk away with even more determination to keep my teeth in the best sparkly condition. The dental assistant is alway motivating and never a downer. When my son pretty much knocked out a tooth after hours ( it was at a 90 degree angle) , Dr. Fatehi turned around his car and came into the office to see if we could save it. I was so thankful not to have to straighten out by myself. Yikes. My mom drives up all the way from Laguna Beach to see Dr. Fatethi, after switching from her dentist of the last 15 years. Dr. Fatehi was able to give her better treatment by far and she did not need all the extra treatments her old dentist recommended! My 9 year old daughter chipped her tooth right before we were leaving on vacation and not only did he get her in last minute, she used to have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. He was so above and beyond wonderful with her, at no point was she scared or concerned at all. We are VERY happy with Dr. Fatehi and his staff! They are great! We have had so many bad experiences with dentists over the years, we stopped going regularly up until we met Dr. Fatehi and his staff less than two years ago. They are professional, honest, caring, gentle, experienced, friendly...the list goes on! I was so desperate to find a good and honest dentist that I asked my daughter's orthodontist for a referral and he told me that he really was impressed with the work of a dentist called Dr. Tom Fatehi. He said that he once couldn't tell which tooth Dr. Fatehi fixed for one of his patients, it looked so natural! I found that out first hand when Dr. Fatehi had to buildup my 10 yr olds front tooth to match the size of the one next to it. The tooth he built up is perfect! It's nicer than the natural one next to it! Lol! He was very honest with me and told me that since my daughter was so young, a veneer was not a good option for her, so he recommended building around her existing tooth now and getting her a veneer when she was in or out of high school. He also has this "wait and see" attitude about doing dental work. He is not out to just make money and come up with things that must be fixed now. Unless you're in pain or there are serious problems with a tooth, he doesn't scare you into getting unnecessary work done. I just love that! I was so used to dentists trying to get more money out of me at every visit and telling us things were worse than they were. One dentist actually told me I needed braces and I have perfectly straight teeth!!! Anyway, we really like "Dr. Tom" and his staff, especially his awesome hygienist Beth, and recommend him for your entire family. Even my 10 and 4 yr old kids like him and his staff. I have been seeing Dr. Fatehi since approximately 2013 after finding him over the internet. I had picked him based on positive reviews from other patients. The first time I went to his office I was not so confident that he was a really good dentist, but I needed an emergency consultation so there I was. In that first visit he told me I did not have any problem on any tooth and he never tried to perform anything that wasn't needed. So walked off his office with a great impression of him but still did not know much about the quality of his dental services. Over the time I started seeing him for my regular dental cleaning. He has an absolute great staff that provides great quality teeth cleaning. One day I decided that I wanted to have teeth whitening and inquired about the laser one. Dr. Fatehi surpised me again by recomending me the regular whitening, saying that it would be much more expensive to do the laser whitening. As seen, he does not try to get money out of his patients but really treats you with honesty, and respects our pockets! Then I started bringing my daughter with me as his new patient. He always gets her balllons at the end of each visit and she loves it! Finally, today I had to go see him because of a broken front tooth I got over the weekend. I called his office in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in between two patients. That was the first time I would have a real tooth treatment performed by Dr. Fatehi and I was a little nervous about it. However, Dr. Fatehi surprised me again with a wonderful tooth restauration! It now even looks better than before! The service was performed so quickly, and he has very gentle hands.
