With walk-in service (no appointments, first come-first serve) and taking cash only (no credit cards, but there is an ATM on site), this little shop does what it does well. At this writing, they are open Mon-Tues and Thurs-Fri for business. I've had great visits with all the barbers here and always have a solid outcome. Within the last year or so, the interior has had an update and it looks nice while keeping that old school barbershop atmosphere/vibe. While the price has gone up a little bit over the years (as expected over time), it's still a pretty reasonable price for barber services. Going with all the stars for these guys, thanks!

Styled with lots of thought, Van-tique is a delightful man's barbershop run by guys for guys. That's not to say women aren't welcome -- in fact, Jay is fantastic with kids' haircuts of all ages. The place is spotless, with the decor a mix of tasteful man cave, classic garage and updated old-time barbershop. Along with very reasonably priced haircuts, shaves and beard trims, Jay and his crew serve up free cold beer, cold water, root beer and even hot coffee, along with lots of good humor. I'm super picky about my haircuts and beard trim and I don't worry one bit with this crew. I have yet to get a haircut from Jay that wasn't pergect. If you've gone to any chain to get your hair cut (probably with mixed results), or been overpaying at a salon, stop by here. You'll be delighted you did!

I always make a point to be 5-10 minutes early to appointments. There are barbers in this shop who are supposed to take walk ins, the whole purpose of making an appointment is to fit a haircut into a busy schedule. I have been shafted too many times at this shop to continue spending hard earned money here. I get cuts every week, and tip well, I will go somewhere else that values their customers time and appointments. EDIT: After leaving this review on google I have found someone left a review for the same issue just yesterday. Truly astounding. Tracy did not show even an ounce of remorse when I got up and left today as I sat waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time with someone else still in the chair. If this was a one off occurrence or maybe twice I'd consider it a non issue. Well over half my appointments over the last 6 months went just like this.
