You can do an online search, and you will find several neutral escrow account service providers, so that Mr. Miller cannot claim he earned the funds until you are satisfied that he actually earned it. Otherwise, a neutral arbitrator will get involved. Whatever engagement agreement that Mr. Miller asks you to sign DO NOT sign it until you have an attorney not affiliated with Krueger & Miller advise you on what ALL reasonable terms and conditions you should agree to. Whatever Mr. Miller says he is going to do for you make sure it is in writing, and there are timelines attached. Promptly review your bill for accuracy, and make sure you agree with it. If you don't, immediately dispute it in writing.

I found out 2 weeks ago, five years after she "completed" my child support modification (in 2019) that my court order is a useless pile of paper that she never got signed or dated by a judge. So I paid her, and child support cannot even enforce the order or the paperwork I have because it's not actually approved by a judge. What the heck did I pay her all that money for??? When I used her, I waited patiently and thought a busy lawyer is a good lawyer but boy I was fooled. Even this time around she ignored my calls and when she realized that I could see the read receipts of our texts, she started responding pretending to be her "assistant"...now she's gone MIA, left me on read and wont answer my calls or texts for any update....Just be careful and hire at your own discretion.
