Very jaded. Found this company thru a lot of listings that are on a lot of sites. Found an…read moreapartment that we wanted to look at which was on the market for a steal of a price. Management company really didn't do upgrades, so you were getting what you paid for. Stuff that could be fixed up with some elbow grease... we had our hesitation with the place, talked about it, and decided that we wanted to really look again to double check we could deal with the work the place needed. This is where it went downhill. I emailed asking to see it again, no answer. I called spoke with Rob, who said "I got your email, I just can't understand why you would want to see it again"... should have flown flags. Called the troops, looked at it again. We said yes we wanted it Rob told us to email all the paperwork as soon, Rose would send an application. Did so in a flurry. She sent us their application, then sent us another application for the management company having us rush thru them, understandably so. Out of a gut feeling, right after I submitted papers, I called the management company of the building to ask if the apartment was still available, the woman said no, that it was under contract already... thought that it meant that maybe it was under contract with the real estate company or even that maybe our stuff was actually being looked at! A day goes by, no word. 2 days go by, decide to email Rose to see if she needed anything else or how long we could expect a response from anyone. She said she would have an answer by Friday. Silence. Husband finally called, asking when we could expect an answer. Rose said she couldn't get management. (Flags all over by now and I started searching again.) Finally 4 business days later... Rose calls, sorry you didn't get the apartment, they decided to go with the other application we sent. So, if you want an agency that will put you in direct competition with their others "clients" instead of saying hey we had someone else apply already. Don't call us we will call you. Not trustworthy at all. Rob will talk your ear off, talk things up, and set you up for failure and not actually caring about the client, just caring about the brokers fee. A week wasted when we could have been looking at other places instead of rushing in a competitive field.

Once all our paperwork was submitted, he was able to get our preapproval quickly, little did we know we would be on a lock down due to the pandemic shortly after. He took the time to explain our loan options on multiple occasions and was ALWAYS available to answer all our questions. He was able to provide us with an FHA option as well as a conventional. We decided on the FHA since it made more financial sense for our situation. We were made aware by our realtor that the process for an FHA loan can take longer than others, but with the dedication of Todd and his team we were cleared for our FHA purchase in only 11 days!!! The seller really wanted to close by a certain date which seemed impossible at first, but Todd pulled through and made it happen. He communicated very well with our realtor and attorney throughout the process, everyone worked great together overall as a team. Being a first time home buyer can be both stressful and scary, we had a million and one questions, we would call the office throughout the day, as the phone would ring on my end I would think to myself "they probably think we are so annoying", but once they answered the phone they were very patient and tentative and made us feel extremely comfortable no matter how many times we had to call them.
