How do I best describe this it was an amazing experience for my first time I went with my friend Sebastian and his mother Sebastian had his face covered half way through till the clown area I was spooked I was amazed by the heard. My only con is the fog making me cough but having so much is the positive it out weighed the con I totally recommend coming even if it's your first Time they also check my bag it was just my daily stuff such as wallets and a rubix

Amazing haunted house! Highly recommend if you're in the SLC area! The scariest part was toward the end where you walk through complete darkness and can't see a thing! Loved the selfie photo area at the end too! Such a great experience for the Halloween season. And I think it lives up to the hype.

Fear factory is so unique and fun! The history behind the building (and rumors!) is so fun to learn about, and it makes the haunting experience even better! Fear factory has merchandise you can purchase at the end of your haunt, as well as various photo opportunities! I love interacting with the staff (Britshana is amazing and so sweet!) and walking around and seeing what all they have to offer! I've been coming each year the past few years, and I will continue to make it a yearly tradition for Halloween!

Came here on Friday the 13th while visiting a friend in Park City. We bought general admission tickets online ahead of time. Got through the first line and there was a woman offering VIP for an additional $10 per person. The wait time posted was 20 min for VIP and 70 min for GA. We upgraded to VIP, but it still took about 45 minutes to get inside. You think you're about to enter and then you're just in another area of waiting in line. I can't imagine how long it would've took if we didn't upgrade. There is an add-on option to get a glow stick which allows the actors to touch you - we didn't do this so I can't speak on it. Once inside, I will say the rooms, theme, and decorations are really thought out. The special effects enhance it - one room was completely fogged out with actor shadows popping out at you, while another was clown themed where you wear 3D glasses and everything is fluorescent. Some of the actors do a great job at popping out and scaring you, while others just stand and stare. Compared to the haunted houses in NJ, this is definitely top-notch. At the end since we upgraded to VIP, they gave out souvenir shot glasses for free. I would recommend Fear Factory as a spooky experience if you want to go to a good haunted house with your friends. The only downside is waiting in the extravagant lines to walk through for about 25 minutes once inside.

I had not been to a haunted house since I was a kid-I thought I didn't like them, or that they would be too scary. But I found myself having the opportunity to visit recently and found that it wasn't too scary at all. Don't get me wrong, there were moments that definitely startled me, but nothing that made me wet my pants. (Thanks goodness.) When you first arrive, it feels like you're at a theme park-there are selfie stations for group photos, a gift shop to buy souvenirs and staff members everywhere. They are there to guide you to the entrance, but also to make sure everyone in the group has signed the online waivers. Do yourself a favor and do that ahead of time. If you come on a weekend, plan to be in line for a bit. But even the line has entertainment-there's upbeat music playing and entertainers helping to pass the time. The typical zombies that stumble around as well as a guy that does magic tricks. Once inside, it becomes much louder and dark-just what you'd expect in such a place. They have done a nice job at incorporating all the different fears-heights, loud noises, electrocution, blood, zombies, small spaces, death, etc. The actors are not allowed to touch you and you are not allowed to touch them. In fact, you aren't even supposed to stop walking-they will tell you to keep moving if you do stop. There are lots of stairs, and there are some areas that have limited visibility or unstable ground. That is intentional-also to cause fear or at least a little anxiety. It's well done and pretty fun. Pictures and video are not allowed inside, so take advantage of all the photo ops before you go in.

The ONLY 2 reasons it's getting a 4 and not a five is: - I was never scared and honestly felt like they missed so many jump scare opportunities throughout the factory. - the fog. The fog has me STILL coughing... but I guess thats what they wanted, for you to feel like you're dying. When you first walk in the staff was amazing. Very fun, a little scary, the kind of people you'd expect to be welcoming you in. There's a lounge to your right that has energy drinks. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!!! Fill out your waiver BEFORE you come!!! They if you keep walking there are selfie booths (as seen in photos), donut kabobs, and a few concession stands and bathrooms along the way through the line because with how amazing the experience was I'm sure the line gets long! I won't ruin anything for you but I will say... the bridge... one of the BEST parts. Stunning and scary views. The clown section?! NEVER seen anything like it. And the ending... well they keep their promises at the beginning that's all I'll say HAPPY HALLOWEEN! And go visit on if the lower cost, BETTER fun, way more of an experience, Haunted Houses! #fearfactory

Had a great time at fear factory. Everyone was friendly during the check in process. Actors played their roles great! Only downside was the tight flow of people. Hard to get the full effect when the group in front of you is getting the scares first. I would say a solid 10 second gap between parties would be great.

I'm not huge on haunted houses because I typically get scared way too easily, but fear factory was different. I was more annoyed with the entire experience than scared. Before I dive into the negatives, the cool thing about this haunted house is that there's a selfie station with cool props and scary backdrops. You can also get hot food and drinks if you're waiting for the rest of the gang to meet up. I was most annoyed with the strobe lights and the smoke in enclosed-ish rooms. The strobe lights is probably the worse because you can't really see and the bright lights continue to flash in your face making it hard to walk. Depending on how fast you're going without bumping into the "zombies," the lights can really hurt your eyes. The smoky room idea is cool at first, but it's a ton of smoke. So not only does it affect your vision, you also can't breathe. I'm coughing half the time in there trying to cover my face to breathe in my shirt. I mentioned enclosed-ish because these rooms are separated by thick plastic fringed sheets. There's also a lot of stairs. And I mean A LOT! You're definitely getting leg day work out if you didn't plan on it. There's about 4-5 flights that you will be going up and down so hold on to the rails to prevent any accidents. I didn't like that they had to tag the back of my hand multiple times to get into the house. First it's a sharpie, then a wet green stamp, and a couple more sharpie designs after that. I bought the VIP access to skip the line, but it still took almost 20 minutes to walk into the house. I personally liked Nightmare on 13th better because I was more scared there than here. It was a terrible experience for me and I won't be back.

For the price not worth it. In side is like empty and it's more sight seeing then a haunted house. Not worth it in my opinion.

You definitely have to swipe your card after each win since there's sneaky little kids that may try to swipe their card as they walk by. My boyfriend brought rubber gloves to wear and I didn't quite understand why until I touched a joystick playing ninja turtles. It's pretty gross and they should have more sanitizers around. The arcade games are a bit dated and not all of them em properly. The guy at the front desk is the only one here so it's hard for him to fix anything during business hours. Overall still very fun, but not something I can do on a regular basis. Great for kid's birthdays, cheap first dates, or place to burn 2 hours of fun for $20.

You have to purchase ride tickets separately, and most rides are between 4-10 tickets, with some of the bigger rides up to 15 tickets. There were a lot of really cool food places, but the prices for food were astronomical. We got a grilled cheese sandwich to split and it was $20. Most of the food prices were averaging $20 per item, and we looked at getting a boba and it was $12. We stopped by a cotton candy stand and some of the custom cotton candy items were up to $25. I genuinely don't understand how things were so expensive or how people are able to take large families here! It's so much money. We ended up spending $20 At McDonald's afterwards to feed the four of us. They had farm animals to pet, and we spent a lot of time there. I would recommend going to a show or the rodeo - that seemed to be fun. It was also fun to go in the evening and watch the sun go down/the lights of the rides turn on. Parking was also a mess - I would recommend taking the trax if you can. We lucked out with a close spot in the neighborhood. I'm not a crowds or rides person, so my review may be biased, but after our experience here I won't be back. It was fun to experience once, and the kids had fun, but I don't see a need to go again!
