I signed up for an ACLS renewal class in February with FEARLESS CPR and it was a great choice. This class was offered close to home (such a win for me) and at a reasonable price. I went in with prior knowledge but I left with an increase understanding of ACLS. The class was nice and comfortable. Our instructor Pua allowed us to learn at our own pace while being patient with the group. She was attentive and down to earth. Even got to learn about her roles and job in the medical field. We did lots of hands on work. We were able to ask questions throughout the course. We felt confident while learning. We also had some fun! Needed BLS certification for potential job. Scheduled a class in the morning with Pua. *Need to complete online portion prior to training via email after scheduling The actual class was amazing. Pua was a very informative instructor and answered all the questions I had as a beginner. My class was me and another person and we were able to break down the information from the online portion training and actually practiced doing chest compressions, ventilation, working an AED etc. Pretty well structured and just very informative and helpful overall. I know that I've learned life saving techniques in effective CPR and Heimlich techniques, so I definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in learning to do CPR and Heimlich to potentially save lives and anyone who needs the BLS certification as well. read more

They truly emphasize the importance and why behind each step. I've never left a review before (don't ask why, I just haven't lol), but the online Heartcode BLS training with AHA paired with Pua and Kara was super awesome. I left the class "FearLESS." I had "taken" a CPR class before from an instructor that came to 24 Hour Fitness (Kapolei), and it was such a waste of time, money and I was terrified leaving the class being "certified." The instructor gave us 101 reasons not to give CPR because you wouldn't want to break a rib, or get sued. Pua and Kara explained the purpose behind everything you do in BLS training and that's super important, otherwise, why are you really doing it? I WAS TERRIFIED walking into this class thinking there was going to be at least 20 people, in a big open space, but it actually takes place in the comfort of Kara's home. It was myself and one other woman, and we both got to take turns and help each other out. Pua would make sure that we both on the same page, and always asked us if we had any questions. Pua and Kara are really down to earth people, and I think because of that, the smaller group and setting, calmed my nerves (I have really bad anxiety). I left the class super confident, and if someone were to collapse, I wouldn't run away, I'd help like I was trained to. read more

I just did my ACLS certification and FearLESS was an amazing company to go through. I'm a L&D nurse so cardiac stuff is very daunting and uncomfortable and unfamiliar to me. However, Pua (instructor) was so patient and was such a great teacher. She's a paramedic so she really knows her stuff. The set up is in their home and they were really clean/professional concerning COVID 19 precautions and wearing a mask the entire time. I actually am considering changing my speciality to more emergency medicine because of this class. I highly recommend getting your certification with FearLESS CPR! They're AMAZING ladies! Especially Kara! Last night I came across my BLS card & seen it expires this month! I called FearLESS CPR & spoke with Kara. She was so HELPFUL. Told me what to do & if I got the online portion done before 6pm come down to their hands on skills portion tonight (that happened a little after 4pm & normally other places wouldn't be as helpful). I was in a crunch for time after completing the online portion & finishing work a little later than I should've, but they were still able to take me after being 30mins LATE! Not saying showing up late is ok because its definately NOT & I was embarrassed that I was late. I was still welcomed. She went over everything I needed to know, gave me some tips & explained things to where i can easily remember it. I asked her a few questions about things that I wanted to make sure I understood & she gladly answered them. It was a very laid back & not intimidating experience/atmosphere. When you're not intimidated you tend to retain the information given. That is the type of learning atmosphere/environment I love to be in! I'm blessed to have come across their Yelp site! & yes I got my BLS renewed! Thank you ladies again! I'm so sorry I was late! I'll see you guys again in 2 in years! ON TIME ! My family & I booked a private class with both Kara & Pua for the Heartsaver First Aid / CPR/ AED for adults & infants this past weekend. They were very accommodating to our group from the start in working with us to fit the class into our schedule. On the day of the class, they also made us feel very comfortable while performing the steps of CPR, AED & choking skills. Majority of our group had not taken any type of CPR or First Aid training so all of the information given in the class was definitely helpful & extremely useful in any emergency event. We all went into the class with either old skills or no knowledge at all and after completing the course we all feel prepared to help save a life.
