Yoga practitioners, head on over to this gorgeous studio for a great yoga experience. They offer an expanded variety of classes, including vinyasa flow, yin, restorative, and more. There are also a number of specialty workshops for beginners, and specialty workshop topics as well. Another thing I really appreciate is how the owners, Jeanne and Wayne, have worked so hard to make this a welcoming community space for all kinds of yoga. They often offer herbal teas on Saturday after the morning class in a beautifully appointed main room, and it's so nice to sit there and relax after a yoga practice. There are yoga and alternative medicine books and magazines to peruse, and locally made crafts and yoga props for sale as well. I couldn't ask for a nicer studio!

The studio space is in a historic building downtown (perfect to grab a coffee or smoothie after class). There are convenient class times, including a lunchtime class I enjoyed. The instructor Krista is well-informed and adapts poses for everyone's ability. She mixes up her sequences so it doesn't get boring, and she's taught some unique and effective poses I haven't done before. The music creates atmosphere that is invigorating and relaxing at once. It's a special experience to take a class in a studio. The atmosphere takes you out of your head and gives you a break from your day. Cris (she's a she, by the way) is an amazing instructor and is not only studied but her kindness is out of this world. The cost of one class of pilates is more on the higher side with 37 dollars for one class but I can see why.
