I don't believe I've ever seen a McD's so full of people. Yes, I know I'm visiting my daughter in NL, & I go to not one, but two American fast food places in one night. Well, we came here for ice cream McFlurries. Then, my daughter said something about cheesecake. I thought WUUUTTT!!!!! Yes! So, she & I got a slice of cheesecake to share. Even though the place was full, the employees were smiling & friendly. I can tell you that McDonald's here vs. America are not equal! I swear the food tastes better here, & the portion sizes are just right. The McFlurries here are tiny in comparison to those in the USA. Again, the size is actually perfect. So, if you're traveling, or stationed outside of the USA, be sure to try the fast food places & compare them to those we have, for taste, size & prices. You'll appreciate all we have back in the USA so much. I love life here.

It's a great snack just before or just after a meal...but I'm a big fan of snacking anyway! We have our favorite fry place in Amsterdam and my husband said that these were even better than that one, and that is our go-to spot! These were really good with friendly service with a smile. These fries are double fried (which is the only way for proper fries!), so you get a soft inside and crispy outside. These fries are the kind that you take a bite and are surprised at how good a fry can be! Very reasonably priced too. Don't forget to try a traditional sauce if you haven't before!

If you've read my other reviews, you'll know I rarely have a bad review. Sadly, this place earned it. The chicken the USA is so pumped with hormones & junk, that our chickens are enormous in size. In other countries they use their chickens. (Thank goodness) Here in NL, & in DE, the chicken is small in comparison. For instance the breast here is the size of a small thigh in the USA. But, the taste is equal to those back in the US. I dislike white meat, I like my chicken juicy, (yup! typical southern girl!). So, I prefer dark meat chicken, thighs & legs. I thought I'd enjoy this piece because it was small. It would be juicier, right? Nope! Just as dry as the enormous ones back in the US. The fries were warm, the 1/2 corn was okay, but lacking something. So, I consumed both carbs with mayo. Don't judge. I'm European at heart. So, I had the three piece box meal, & my daughter had the nuggets & tenders boxmeal. The chicken was okay. The skin was a little too oil soaked, so it wasn't the typical crispiness. But, it was ok. It took forever to get our order, & unlike McDonald's, this place wasn't crowded at all. Mind you my SIL drove us 12.6 miles to come here because he & his bff love it. So, the length of time it took to get our food was very annoying to him. I guess I'm used to the relaxed attitude in DE to have noticed, because honestly, I don't think it took too long. Here's the final reason for the 2 stars - the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Now, this is something I am NOT used to in Europe. Honestly, any other public toilet I've used in Europe has been impeccable. This place was absolutely disgusting! There were multiple puddles of water in the bathroom. Near the sinks, right as you walked in, around both of the toilets (hoping it was water) & all over the counters. Come to think of it, I don't believe I have ever seen such a filthy restroom. Okay food, long wait time (in Dutch standards), & disgusting restrooms - honestly, I'd skip this KFC.
