Heads up to people thinking about re-directing delivery to a Fedex Dropoff location!!! It will delay your package by up to 48 hours, which in my case really defeated the purpose of re-directing it. I was going to be gone from my home for a couple of hours and didn't want an expensive package left at my front door, so I redirected the package to the local Walgreens not a mile from my home. 10 minutes later I got an email notification saying that the package was attempted but no one was there to receive it, which contradicts what the Walgreens manager said, as the package was never attempted; how could it have been in 10 minutes? The shipping center is farther away than that. It was crucial to receive this package on time as it was a tool needed for my business and the lack of delivery was not only an inconvenience but forced me to reschedule a work day for multiple individuals. read more

On 4 occasions I have had packages delivered by Federal Express and despite the fact that I have an open-view screened in porch they continue to leave my packages on my sidewalk in front of my single family home. I live in a decent neighborhood but not one that is immune to crime. How hard is it to open a screen door and leave the packages in a place that at least is not in immediate eyesight of every single person driving or walking by my house. The really frustrating part is that this year, it was pouring down raining and the packages were soaked. For the prices company pay for Fed Ex to deliver their goods you'd think a little common sense wouldn't be asking too much. read more
