I call Ink Paper Crafts to see if they have washi tape. They do. Tons of it. It's not an ideal solution for my fancy invites but it will have to do. I jump in the car and get there an hour before closing, damp from the rain and -- let's be honest -- probably a little bit of sweat, wedding invite in hand. I'm trying to find a washi tape that will semi-match the vibe and then, like an angel sent from heaven, the owner walks up to me and says "I've got something better for you." She proceeds to introduce me to this magical tape dispenser that absolutely saved the day. And she wouldn't even let me pay her for it!! "My wedding gift to you," she said. I was stunned. It's been so long since I've had this experience shopping. You know how it is -- we're all buying everything on amazon and there's no warmth, no connection. Not only will I be a loyal Ink Paper Craft customer for LIFE but I also feel so motivated to keep shopping small business. This is what it's all about. Very chatty group and all ages- from age 7-40's, mostly male. Friendly sales clerk ready to answer any questions we had. I also noticed a couple of the younger players being dropped off by parents. The Pokemon Professor (judge) made a point to check in and let me know how my student was doing. A great experience and we will make it a monthly tradition.

They have hand sanitizer and sanitize the binder between people. Wear your when rolling up. I got some cute baby items for my baby and friends. Another option is ordering online to ship or have it ready at the store - but there may be a processing time for that so you're better off doing the binder process if you're wanting something day of. Apparently she thought it was obvious that I should wait in line (not visible from the entrance where I was standing) to find out the answer to that question. I honestly hadn't meant to be pushy and only asked her because she seemed available, but being talked to like a naughty child was a huge turnoff. - Several employees practically knocked us down multiple times as they barrelled down the tight aisles to shelve books. We didn't mind scooting over but they seemed very annoyed that we had the nerve to be in their way as we browsed. Finally we decided to do them a favor and get out of their way by leaving.
