I thought I had already written a review of this place. Anyway, I like Femme de Carriere (some locations have re-branded to just Femme). It's a brand from Montreal. The designer is Sandra Angelozzi. I would describe the style as elevated professional attire. Think Jackie Kennedy Onassis suits and dresses.
The styles are definitely elegant, but I do find that some are a bit too mature for me (aka "old ladyish, lol). However, some are great and I like that they tend to have a little asymmetric embellishment or something that makes their pieces stand out a bit. I love that the pieces are nicely tailored and they have very small sizes. They do have a unique sizing system where they add 30 to usual North American sizes. So a size 0 is 30 (their smallest size) and a size 12 is 42 (their largest size). Their sizes run small. They have no petites nor tall, but I find in many of their pieces their smaller sizes fit proportionately smaller, as in the shoulders are narrower, and the sleeves are shorter, so they fit me well.
Prices are on the higher end. Regular prices run about $50-$300, but they often have 50% off sales.
This location at College Square is an outlet, so they have a lot of discounted merchandise (more than 50% off) and also manufacturer's samples.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
