It was able to put a new post where needed and everything came out perfect they were able to take down the old fence and put the new fence up in the same day. Have been waiting for a fence since July 11th when they sent an email saying it would be two weeks. No return calls, no emails and no apology. GARBAGE, just go ahead and book someone else! UPDATE: I received an extremely rude email response telling us to look for another company. No apology or explanation for delay. I sent an email asking when the fence could be done since we were told two weeks in July. Ha ha a complete joke to have them listed as a business. I wish I could leave 0 stars...Don't go with them!!! We booked on May 5th with Fence Tech after Frank had came to our house and gave us an amazing price. I should have known it was too good to be true. After four weeks we still did not have a phone call back letting us know when they would come so I called, and no response. Called again and was told it would be the week of June 8th the latest. June 12th that Friday came and nothing. So we called and said it has almost been six weeks and at this point we are going with someone else. I was very calm but the woman on the phone started YELLING and saying "First Off you are wrong! It has only been five weeks!" and went on and on. I cannot believe the AWFUL customer service this place has. Do yourself a favor and ignore them at all cost!!! read more

I'm really happy with our Fence Tech experience. We've had our fence for two summers now, and it's weathered beautifully and held up to awful storms, including blizzards and hurricanes. We decided to go with Fence Tech based on the recommendation of our wonderful landscaper, and I am so glad that we did. Frank was easy to work with -- he showed up for the consultation on time, helped us decide on the type of fence and design that would work best in our yard, gave us a very reasonable quote within a few hours, and booked us for the installation within a week. The installation was run by his son and a crew of very hardworking men that functioned like a well-oiled machine. They were in, done, and out within an afternoon and when they needed to, asked question to make sure everything was perfect and to our exact liking. We did call when one of the decorative toppers got blown off, and while it took a while for them to get back to us, they eventually did and took care of it quickly. I would happily use Fence Tech again and am happy to recommend them. They've been nothing by great to work with, and I am super happy with the finished project. read more

This week Fence Tech installed a fence around my pool and I could not be happier. I have been in the trades industry my whole working career and typically self perform all work at my home. Installing the fence was the final part to my project and I went back and forth about installing myself. Once I met Frank and he provided me with a competitive quote, I decided to move forward his company. After several delays on my end, I was finally able to schedule the install. Being in the industry, I know you have to patiently wait for good contractors. Once I was ready and called to scheduled I was told about 4 weeks. I was in no rush and respect how busy the trades have been lately. It was worth the wait! When I came home from work and inspected the job, there was not one issue that I could find. A perfect experience from beginning to end! We scheduled an estimate at a mutually convenient time. The owner arrived on schedule and gave us a quote that was much more reasonable than the other quotes we had received. We agreed on the work and no deposit was required. They only ask for payment when work is done and we are satisfied. They arrived exactly on schedule and installation went without a hitch. And now we have a new fenced in yard for our new rescue dog to enjoy--feels like we have our own little park. We are very pleased and would recommend Fence Tech RI very highly. read more

Frank's son is an excellent craftsman and did an extraordinary job under difficult terrain the results was a great installation that will look good for years. Some of the worst customer service I have experienced. Was a little leery about going with this company because the estimate was far less than the others I received but they were recommended by a good friend. However, cheap and quick are about the only positive things I will say about this company. The owner is very argumentative and rude. Apparently I should have been thanking my lucky stars that they showed up unannounced a day early (which was really a week late) but I guess I am old fashioned and expect that it's common courtesy to have a heads up that someone is going to be on my property. Then when I called back because I had an issue with part of the installation, all I got was a lot of argument and an elevated blood pressure. Will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Frank and his team did an awesome job. The original black, aluminum fence was installed by another contractor, and they were very sloppy and unprofessional. During the October 31 storm a tree limb came down and damaged the fence. FenceTech was recommended by the manufacturer of the original fence. Frank responded promptly, gave a detailed estimate, and ordered the parts. We were so impressed with him we actually extended the repair order and had him installed another 60 feet of fencing. We were notified by the office a few days before the team arrived, promptly in the morning. They installed the repair section and the new section, cleaned up all the mess, and were gone before noon. And what a great job they did. Highly recommend them for any fending job. read more

Fence Tech is absolutely amazing!!! We relocated to Rhode Island from out of state and Frank the owner made sure that we had our fence installed prior to our arrival to make sure the kids and dog had a safe place to play. They went above and beyond to make sure of this. We were so happy with their customer service and fencing that we just recently used them again in our new home. Their pricing is always very reasonable and they are super responsive and reliable. We plan on using them again this summer to complete our next project! read more

Wish I could give a 0! The company has failed to call back and set up our installation for the past 4 months. They call and promise dates or call backs and never follow through. Over the past 2 years trying to deal with this company they have NEVER once answered the phone when I have called. Stay away!! Take your business elsewhere. Big disappointment. We just got a stockade fence installed from Fence Tech and the quality of the fence is excellent! We got quotes from 10 different places, include small private places in RI and MA and large companies like Home Depot and Lowes and Fence Tech had the lowest price. I'm only giving Fence Tech 1 Star because I had to. They are actually a 0 in my book. We hired Fence Tech to do a job at our new home after they did a great job putting up a fence for my parents. The work was great and they seemed very reliable. They completed the job for us in a timely manner and all was well. Until...almost a year later we had a wind storm and a couple of the panels were leaning. We were in the process of selling of our home, and our buyers wanted the fence repaired (as did we). We put a call in to Fence Tech to have it looked at and repaired. Frank showed up and said they would be back to repair the leaning panels the following week at no cost to us. Well they never came back, and we cannot get a hold of anyone for an answer. It's been 4 months now and we are still waiting to hear from them. I've called countless times. First, I would leave a message and wait for a callback, now no one ever even picks up! Our real estate agent even called "for a quote" and no one called him back either! Use caution when hiring these guys. You definitely get what you pay for. If you're not going to come back and fix the fence, don't say you are. It's as simple as that. Very disappointed in this business. We called and had someone come out to give us an estimate in May in which they were eager to do. We were told they would be out in Mid-may to install a very small fence. It was a one day job. Over the past 3 months we have been pushed back because of the rain from May. I had been very understanding at first for the delays but it had become ridiculous. They never return phone calls right away. They promise the work to be done at specific times only to be pushed back again and again. After complaining about the lack of communication and installation, we were promised an install by the owner only to be lied to yet again with not one phone call of explanation nor return phone calls that we have made. I am one to usually swallow poor service to an extent but this is unacceptable and I would like to spare the disappointment to others. We still have not received another phone call back from them so I am to assume our business is not important to them which is an utter shame. People, spend the extra money and have your fence installed by professionals who value your business and who will return your phone calls promptly and stick true to their word. read more

Unfortunately, I would like to give Frank and his business a good rating, but FenceTech's customer service after he built our fence in RI is pretty poor. I contacted him and got his voice mail a couple years back for a small repair I needed done but received no call back. Just this past couple weeks I called twice - once leaving a message and my contact info and the second time I spoke with a lady in his office, gave her my contact info, and mentioned I needed some repairs done to the fence they built for me a few years back. I sent pictures of the repair needed to the email address she provided (comcast.net) and followed up with another email a few days later asking about the quote, but am still waiting to hear anything. The fence he built is holding up OK (not great but not bad), but I am surprised they simply do not follow up with customers. Other reviews seem to have the same concern. Why lose a possible repeat customer and positive referral due to bad follow-up especially with a previous customer? read more
