I never leave bad reviews, but unfortunately for this one I have to be critical. Everything started off great, they sat me outside with Maverick (my dog) and even brought out some chicken for him, but it was all downhill from there. I ordered the tuna tower which came out in a beautiful presentation, but when the waiter set it down he immediately began mashing everything together before asking if I wanted it to be mixed. That was the smallest of the issues, but I still wish he would have asked my preferences first. I also ordered the pineapple sweet and sour chicken. The waitress barely ever checked in with me so finally after 30+ minutes my chicken came out freezing cold. I specifically asked for both dishes to come out at the same time. My final issue was when I asked for my food to be packaged to go, the waitress forgot to pack up the sauce. So now I have PLAIN chicken. Luckily I love sauce so I had some on hand that I could use at home, but still so frustrating. It also took forever to get the check, but that was to be expected based on everything else. The only good thing to come from this experience was the free app and dessert promo and the dragon dance live show since it was their one year anniversary. Overall the food was really good! The orange chicken was crispy and flavored well! Both rice and noodle dishes we got were also delicious. The crab fried rice was very fresh. They brought us complementary wonton strips with sweet sour sauce, cucumber salad and a potato salad. The sushi was the only thing we did not enjoy. It was bland. Let's start with how great the restaurant looked. Very Beautiful and I can't tell a big deal was put into the aesthetic. We arrived around 4pm on Saturday and there was only one other couple in the restaurant, that was my first clue as to how bad the food was. A lot of people get swept up in the design of the restaurant that they let slide how good the food is. I ordered the jalapeño chicken with peppers thinking that the flavors would go well together but I was wrong. What was brought out looked like packaged chicken chunks that were warmed up in a microwave and doused with sauce just before being brought out to my table. There was absolutely no flavor in the dish and the side of fried rice looked like it was leftover brown rice. The price was expensive and definitely not worth it, I took a few bits before asking to have it packed up. I ended up cooking it more at home and adding seasonings to bring up the flavor and it tasted amazing afterwards. I don't think I'll be eating there again. read more
