Absolutely AWFUL company. I ordered propane on 1/11/23 and the expected delivery date was 1/23/23. I understand it's busy season so I had no problem waiting, however the 23rd came and went with no communication from Farrellgas whatsoever. I call at the end of the day on the 23rd to ask for an update and they said "hopefully tomorrow" and that I could call to check again the next day. I call on the next day on the 24th and they assure me that they will be out that day to deliver. We wait all day and yet again they don't deliver as promised. I call again the same day to ask what happened to the delivery. They don't know but promise to find out and call me back. Well naturally they didn't do this either. I call again on the 25th to not only find out what happened to my delivery, but also to the phone call I was promised with an update. They don't know the answer to either but promise they'll deliver today (the 25th). My husband sees Ferrellgas in our neighborhood filling someone else's tank. Awesome, we think they'll probably get to us soon. Well, yet again they don't. I call again in the afternoon and they ASSURE me that I will get my delivery today no matter what. Especially because they know at this point I've been without heat and hot water with a newborn in the house. Come 4:30 in the afternoon and yet again and no one has come to fill the tank as promised. I call again and they assure me they deliver after hours and the driver won't go home until my order is delivered and they often deliver up to 8:00pm, I say okay and I wait. Well here we are again with no propane. I've been able to track my order online and for the third day in a row my order status went from "out for delivery" back to "scheduling" because clearly no one intended on coming. No delivery as promised three days in a row. No phone calls or communication as promised. No after hours delivery as promised and they were already in the same neighborhood but still failed to deliver. read more

Having worked At a propane service Company im aware of the challenges involved ..i was surprised to hear that they can't tell someone what day they will fill the tank ...they give you a 7 day window and it could be the next day or it could be on the seventh day ..I really don't care if i save money when a company cares so little about their customers read more

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life!!!!! I ordered propane on December 16, 2021 and they lied over and over about too much snow on January 6th 3 weeks later when garbage trucks were coming by no problem and there was NO snow!!!! Today is 01/17/2022 and they finally delivered 60% Not 80% and charged me $677. It has been over 1 month that I asked for a call from a manager and NOTHING!!! Call other Companies for propane don't get desperate they are the last company you want to call!!!! read more

Extremely disappointed with Ferrellgas service. We just moved into a new rental in Oakhurst and ran out of propane during this huge snow storm. We were told they cannot fill our propane for up to 10 business days, even though we have already paid the almost $500 fee. I have called many times and they cannot even tell me if/when we are scheduled for a delivery. Customer service has been poor. If I were to pay them extra money then they would come the next day. Interesting Ferrellgas can fit us into the schedule if we give them more money but if we don't we have no idea when we can be filled. Our house is freezing and we are without hot water for over a week now. Customer service has been poor and unhelpful. I do not recommend leasing a tank or using this from this company. read more

I will only say positive things in this review: 1) The propane they put in my tank does work for cooking and heating 2) They fill up my tank before it is completely empty 3) The bills are nicely printed and easy to read 4) A human being answers the phone when I call read more

Gave me a great price for first fill up. Smelled Gas before filling and they sent 2 techs same day and replaced a part on their tank. Fireplace shop told us they are one of the best priced and told us of a scandal with one of their competitors. I trust this company. DH read more

This is the worst company on the planet they have left a senior citizen who is disabled without a way to shower cook or heat his apartment for more then a month now they never sent a bill until a month after they turned him off and when we called to make agreements they said the bill is now 318 if you pay 250 we can turn you back on today I take him pay the 250 and no one comes I have called and spoken with 6 different people who have told me there is no lock on his tank and we never had a order to turn him off to I'll have some one out today then it will be 200 more for today to come out plus a two hundred dollar deposit . Ferrell Gas is probably the worst company I have ever tried to work with for propane. Their internal communication and customer communication is horrible. I asked for an assessment to see if my current tank could be switched out for a Ferrell tank without damage to property. Bryan Heath completely screwed up on coordinating the service call by not providing clear direction to local crews who filled the tank, which is clearly marked as belonging to another company. Furthermore they provided no advanced communication all three times they came to my property and all three time scared my wife by wandering around unannounced. They only called as they left each time despite repeated requests to provide advanced notice. After admitting thatctheymade a mistake and assuring me that Ferrell would resolce the issue Bryan now has not returned calls, email, or messages for over 4 weeks. But he did send me an invoice for the gas, which again I did not request. BEWARE!!! read more

Look elsewhere for propane! This company locked the tank on our recently-purchased house without giving us any notification. No notification at all. We assumed that the already-purchased gas in the tank was ours to use. Why wouldn't we? Our tenant came home to find that she had no heat or hot water. I then opened an account and had them unlock the tank and asked them to fill it. They unlocked the tank but added no gas, even though it was only at 12%. Yesterday we got a call from the tenant letting us know the tank was empty. I called and Ferrelgas said it'd be up to ten days to get any propane unless I paid over $200 for same-day delivery. I called the mother company and a nice woman said she'd see what see could do. Soon after I got a call from the delivery driver who told me he was a block away when he got the call so it was no problem for him to swing by and fill the tank. They charged me $218 same-day delivery fee anyway. Will be transitioning to another company as soon as this propane is used up. read more

Company is dishonest. ..billed us hundreds of dollars for gas that was never used. Company came out and said there was a leak in the tank but not big enough to cause much use. What a joke. Had new company put in a new tank and gas use has gone down over 50%. Crooks!! I'm a disabled senior and this is wrong! read more
