Finding a place in Palermo that sells plug adaptors was a challenge but we made it…read more I was walking around on Nicaragua and saw this little place that besides adaptors has tools and everything you need if you are doing a renovation at your house. Staff was kind, and only speaks Spanish. My adaptor was not very good, it was loose and the connection didn't work properly, but that is ok since I only paid 30 pesos (about 3 dollars). From what I understand they also have a renovation company on the site that can do some home work if you need help - it's called Palermo Construcciones. Looks like a nice and convenient place to buy this kind of product in the area. But I will definitely try the next adaptor there before I walk home with it.
