Really easy to get to, just off the Merode Train Station and as soon as you exit, you spot the…read moretents and are swept away to Medieval times in modern Brussels. It was a good variety fair with excellent atmosphere. Not that great variety of food but really excellent for drinking. I would suggest if you have kids under 10, they would especially love.

Great festival. Great music. Great atmosphere. Didn't get 5 stars because you have to pay to use…read morethe toilets (they weren't even clean! I've never had to pay for a toilet at any other festival). Also, you are required to purchase tickets to buy drinks and food, which is okay, but you're stuck with a ton of tickets after the festival which can't be used for anything! One of our group had to throw away about 100 dollars worth of tickets because he wasn't able to use them all. Another down thing about this festival is that they shut down the rooms which get full. Not so good when you book such popular artists like Knife Party, Disclosure, etc. The best highlights this year were Dillon Francis, Knife Party, Flosstradamus, Gesaffelstein, and Annie Mac. This is a very nice and lovely event. it took place at the GRAND PALACE SQUARE, surrounded by the…read morebeautiful architectural treasure rich with gold and art. This weekend we came in the square braved the lines and got our tokens so we could enjoy samples from all breweries the festival have to offer. the line to pay for the ticket had some pretty nasty event organizer, the lad was very rude and vicious, I with I didn't have experienced that side of Brussels, after we got our tickets everything was ok again, hope next year she doesn't come back. The European way of life is one I love, you see the people hanging and drinking as well as enjoying cigarettes and cigars at the square while enjoying the brews of choice from the over 30 brewers that were there serving their beers, there was a fun band as well and some giveaways, people networked and had fun with strangers this was really a great time. this beer festival gave me the opportunity to try a CHOCOLATE CHERRY BEER! I was amazed with it. it tasted so good that now I am sad that I can only have that beer in Belgium lol I must come back here one day this festival is very worth it.
