How nice is it to receive these pictures to brighten my day?? All of the walkers are always concerned about the health and happiness of my 'boys'. They take the time to interact with the cats after feeding and cleanup happens. They provide daily feedback on the app via messages and photos. I love that detail! They even bring in my mail and take out the garbage the evening before garbage day, if I request the service. I was impressed with their intake - we had a thorough conversation going through his checklist to get info about the cat to make sure her sitters/hosts would know specific details about the cat (how much I usually feed her, that she doesn't like being petted on the stomach, etc). At the end of the day it's just a cat and all I really cared about was making sure she had food and water and was safe, but this was so much better than boarding her in a tiny cage or having a pet sitter stop by for just a few minutes a day. Knowing she would have a decent amount of space and regular human contact gave me the peace of mind to go on vacation and just not worry or think about her.

Based upon the booking screening, it was clear that the company is professional, well-run, and focused. They provide transportation for your pet to and from their boarding stay and even provide daily pictures of your pet via text. We were very happy with the arrangements until, in the middle of our vacation, we were told that our dog had an episode of weakness and was rushed to our vet whose information we provided at booking. Andrew stayed with our pet and transported him to the overnight Emergency vet for observation. Everything turned out fine and Andrew picked up our pet to finish his stay. Andrew went out of his way and not only did everything for our pet that we could have done, but he also kept us informed and comforted. The integrity, compassion, and dedication that PetsAreInn demonstrated during our time of deep concern helped us greatly and made us happy we chose a stay with a family in their home versus in a traditional pet kennel. We get updates on the visits in an app--with photos!--and cost is more than reasonable. (Honestly, our peace of mind is priceless!) They have also come by to walk Juno in the afternoon during the winter/spring before it gets too hot outside, and it's such a huge help when we are working from home. At that time, Clarabell, our coonhound mix who was supposed to be a beagle-pointer mix...was 3-4 months old, high energy, car anxiety and sickness, already 50+ pounds of pure muscle, strong will and even stronger vocal cords. I couldn't control her on the leash or keep her from jumping on people - so she wasn't getting the exercise, stimulation or socialization she needed. I couldn't leave her alone for a moment or take her in a car. Cages and closed rooms caused even worse anxiety and distress. Rehoming was not an option. Medication (for me :) and) her would be a last resort. I was at my wits end and I knew I needed professional help but my financial limitations due to medical issues/expenses made finding it a huge challenge. I sought recommendations and searched multiple social media platforms, search engines - until I found and reached out to Jessica and my gut knew immediately that she was the one who would and could help me to help and love Calarabell the way she deserves and needs. And I was absolutely right. Jessica is a person and dog whisperer. She is endlessly and unshakeably calm, collected, even toned, knowledgeable, reliable, communicative and quick to assess, address and manage any fur baby and fur owner's challenges. She accomodates in every way - from work schedules to circumstances or behavours that require off-site or odd hour corrective activities and processes. Clarabell is now 1.8 months old, 85 lbs. and 5'5" standing. Walking her is now a good experience. Car rides get easier and easier. She can be home alone for hours at a time. She rarely jumps up on people..and truly there are only challenges when my husband and I don't do the things Jessica has shown us to do. Clarabell is a sweet and happy girl. Jessica stays with her when we go away ( another superb service she offers). I am forever indebted to her and she is the only canine behaviourist I will ever recommend.
