Absolutely amazingly Delicious and super fresh food. We went here about two years ago, and we were blown away by the taste of the dishes. This time Florence was not in our itinerary, but because my husband liked their food Dom much, he drove extra 2 hours just to dine in this restaurant. I ordered the whole branzino which was okay. I've had much better in the states. The problem was with my wife's order of 2 prawns. They were either overcooked or bad as it was just total mush. They apologized and took it away and we ended up splitting mine. The real issue was they were going to charge us 11 euro anyway for a bad fish! His response was it's normally 35 euro which makes absolutely no sense. After arguing, I got back the 11 euro. He was obviously trying to screw me. On top of that, the bread that we paid 2.50 each for was only 2 pieces and stale. Stay away! read more

A perfect spot in Florence! Just a bit past the craziness but still a close walk. The food was by far the most flavorful and creative we found in Florence. Prices are reasonable and staff very courteous, even though English was on short supply. All fish is very very fresh and shrimp fantastic! read more

Really fresh food made with locally grown/caught produce and seafood. Although, customer service knew limited English, they went out of their way to help and explain dishes. Their menu changes daily depending on what's available so you can be sure you're getting the freshest ingredients. Restaurant was filled with locals the two nights we got dinner there so it's definitely more authentic than what's found in the shopping plaza/tourist attractions. read more

Great spot! Service is very good! No nonsense, they take your order, and produce your plate! Amazingly fresh seafood! This is my go to spot! Absolutely love it! I like the mixed seafood plate with all the fried fish a girl could want. The fried fish here is not at all oily but light and just floating on air as am I while I'm eating it! read more

Locationwise Fiaschetteria di Pesce it's really out of the standard "tourist circle", which makes it a local place and already starts to get a lot of positive points for it. It doesn't accepts reservations (another good point), and fish quality is really nice for a place like Florence that doesn't offer much under that point of view. Only drawback it's the price (a little steep, but still acceptable) and of course the confusion that a place with no reservations (but very very popular) attracts. read more

This restaurant was truly delicious! The service was fantastic and friendly. While we waited about 10 minutes for a table one of the waiters brought us a glass of wine- so sweet! The ingredients are so fresh and you can taste it. If you are in the area please do yourself a favor and stop by! We ordered pici (pasta similar to spaghetti but a bit thicker) with lobster in a red sauce and another special of the day that was recommended by our waitress that came with a ton of shellfish. YUM. The food was absolutely amazing and the price is extremely reasonable. We got a plate of spaghetti with seafood for $12. We came back a couple of nights later and got spaghetti with lobster. There is an assortment of fresh fish and shellfish that you can choose from, they weigh it, then cook how you like it. Very busy around dinner time but they are fast with their service. Have eaten here before, and even though a little pricey, quite good. I was in for a shock on my second visit, food ok, but i paid DOUBLE the price, for more or less the same food. When i questioned the price i was told the price depended on the weight of the fish we ate.This was not made clear to us at any point, and they where very dismissive when questioned.
