I explained what kind of surfer I was and what kind of board I had in mind, and he suggested the shape that would be best for what I was looking for. He was out of town on vacation for a couple weeks just before I initially came to see him, so he explained that, due to the fact that he just got back into town after being gone for so long, he was really backed up with orders and that my board would take a while to finish (about 10 weeks or so). But the final product came out great. He promised a really nice board, and he delivered. Great shape, no complaints.

The gun was unusable for the entire trip. Total disaster. When I got home, I reached out to Spear America and Noah immediately diagnosed the issue, identified the correct spear, and went a step further. He swapped out the incorrect European tip so I wasn't stuck paying twice to get the job done right. That kind of service is rare. He didn't have to do it. He chose to.
