A business with a big heart My children started art classes in Jan 2020 in one of Fibo studios, Little Picasso (grade K-1) and Core level (grade 2-4) respectively, because of its convenient location and class availability for each of my children. We liked the studio in our area with friendly staff. They both enjoyed the classes even though I talked my older one into taking the classes so that I could have some alone time while they were both in the classes.LOL. My only concern at that time was how much art knowledge, material techniques and personal attention the classes at Fibo would offer to the children compared to a small art studio with a long waiting list. The Black Friday in March was the last in person class they had before the studio had to close following the closure of the schools state-wide. In a couple of days after the closure of the studio, I was amazed that Fibo rolled out great online art classes, free for all the Facebook fans. Like all other distance learning, I've learned so much about the curriculum, the talents and passion of the Fibo team as well as the struggle of a small business keeping serving the community during the unprecedented difficult time. Curriculum: It was truly an eye opening experience for me to learn about the design of the curriculum of Fibo through the online classes. It can't be done without the belief and vision of the owner, Miss Jasmine, about nurturing the artistic side of each child and showing the children that art (history) is a language of humankind. Through Fibo's art history series (introducing high school art history AP class with art projects to elementary students, alphabeta serie to primary students) and around the world serie, I've especially experienced art as a vehicle of nurturing children's knowledge, awareness and appreciation of the world (natural and social) around them, in addition to the creativity and grit. Through Fibo's reading series, book reading (primary)/discussion (upper graders elementary) accompanied with an art project is such an inspiring model for bringing art and academics together seamlessly. Through Fibo's daily draw and creativity series, basic art knowledge, including color theory, perspectives, rule of 3rd, composition, different material properties and techniques, is introduced in an enjoyable way with a lot of room for creativity. You can get a sense of most of the series by becoming a Fibo village Facebook member or subscribe to Fibo Kids Academy Youtube channel. You can find free class videos or 3-day rental of recordings at $5. Fibo team: I do not know Miss Jasmine personally except of a few message exchanges on Facebook group page and during a few adult online classes Fibo kindly offered to the parents back in July. Miss Jessica and Miss KC were teachers of my children's in-person classes. Irealized how talented they are both in art and as a teacher for various age groups until they taught the online classes. My children also love Miss Ashely and Miss Kiatlin who also teach many online classes. Miss Jasmine values the attention and feedbacks to each student and has specifically provided the platform for Core/Master students in online classes now. As a small business owner in a difficult time, she is also proactive and sincere to work with parents to provide the best possible services to suit all parties' needs. As a mother of two young children, she is a role model not only for the children but also for the adults. It's easy to sign kids up for various activities, but it's not easy to find a team of teachers with big hearts. We are so lucky to be part of the Fibo community and hope you will enjoy it as well! read more

Very clean and has attractive decor for kids. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. She explains the program, payment option, class times, and rescheduling policy very thoroughly without rushing. The instructors are helpful and friendly as well. Our kid loves it and it always amazes us how incredible the artwork he makes every week is. He comes every week and looks forward to it. We thought them not letting parents into the classes room would make our kid nervous but our kid did great. It was nice that they offer a free class so that our kid can try it out as well. read more

The best art class ! My kids had the privilege of experience Fibo Art at school.During school they enjoyed every class,but when schools closed because of COVID it was challenging to keep them busy inside.Fibo was making their days !!! My daughter loves this place! She's been a competitive swimmer for almost two years now and suddenly craved a creative outlet. She learned about Fibo when they visited her elementary school and received a flyer for a free introductory class. We decided to visit their studio and give them a try. The staff was friendly, the studio was organized neatly and designed beautifully, and Camille enjoyed learning new ways to express herself while making new friends! Shortly thereafter we decided to sign up and we've been very happy ever since. Cam is excited to wake up every Tuesday cause she knows that's "Art Class Day!" My son participates in Fibo Art though his school. I signed him up to use a free class award he earned in at his school. Having never seen him in the art class I didn't know what to expect going to the studio. The team was amazing, they were very friendly and answered all my questions and gave me their honest opinion about signing him up for art courses at their studio. The team really makes art fun while building his confidence in drawing. My son is always excited for Fibo day at his school and can't wait until he's older to participate in their art studio lessons. My son loves the art classes yes it maybe pricey, but they teach you a bit of art history, technique, patience and of course how to draw. I can see his progression from day one til now and you can see that he does enjoy it. Plus if you're a middle schooler or high schooler they prep you for making a portfolio that is worthy for College applications if you're wanting to know! read more

My two girls started taking Fibo Art classes at the Cypress studio in 2018. I had started my own business so I had to stop classes for a little until my business picked up. My girls would always ask when they could start their Fibo classes again and we were so pleased to find out that Fibo was offering free online classes when all the schools closed due to COVID. I can only imagine how difficult it would have been for Ms. Jasmine to think of all her overhead costs and her employees' wages during these difficult times but instead of looking out for her own best interests, she began the Fibo village where she offered innovative and creative ways to teach art classes online. Thanks to her dedication and love for the arts, we are extremely grateful that my kids were able to create beautiful art at home during the pandemic and also for keeping me sane by giving me a break while they are taking the classes. ^^ Fibo offers quality art classes that sparks love and appreciation for the arts. My girls also had uploaded some of the art they did online with their school teachers and they too testified that the Fibo program works! I, the mother of the two current students at the Cypress FIBO ART school am extremely pleased with the whole Studio system. My 9 year old daughter has been enjoying FIBO in her Elementary school from 2nd grade. She was offered an option to attend the FIBO class at the studio, and she was ecstatic! She said "Mom I wish I came here for all my classes!" My 4 year old son who just started May 2018 is hooked on FIBO, and that speaks volumes for this incredibly enriching Art school. read more

My 5 years old daughter loves to draw. After her first class, she fell in love with art.

My 6 year old son loves to draw and since there is limited art in school I signed him up for the free class offered. He loved it. They did a portrait inspired by a 17th century painting. The instructor did a wonderful job of describing shapes to use for various facial features that the children could relate to. I didn't have to think twice about signing him up for a month of classes. There is flexibility with the times the classes are offered. And the month to month commitment is great in the event it is not feasible all the time. He is looking forward to the next class, and I'm excited about watching his artistic side grow. Wonderful extracurricular opportunity. read more
