None of those were properly examined. They were either completely ignored or barely glanced at. I brought the horse home four days ago and have already had to bring out another vet. That vet immediately found multiple serious issues that this clinic completely missed. These include bone chips in C2 to C4, an old corneal scar, advanced dental problems that were never looked at, an infection in the guttural pouch, and sclerosis in the jawbone. This is blatant negligence. These are major health problems that should have been caught in any competent exam. I will be filing a formal complaint with the state board for their failure to do their job. Because of their lack of thoroughness, I now have significant vet bills and a horse I would never have purchased if I had been given an honest and complete evaluation. Avoid this place at all costs. Update: I finally got a call back, and they told me to sue them rather than issuing a refund.

My husband and I decided to adopt our neighbors adult cat upon her passing. After about a month, we came to know three things about my new cat; one; she had some sort of allergy, two; she didn't want to be touched by anyone and three; she was a biter. After discussing the situation with a friend, she informed me about "Vet on Wheels"! I was surprised that this service even existed in our town! Thankfully it did, seeing as there would be no way I could get this cat into a portable carrier. I called the service and scheduled an appointment. A couple days later. Dr. P and her Vet Technician were in my driveway in their Mobile Veterinarian office. Dr. P came into my home and successfully sedated my cat and then moved her to her mobile office for examination . I was so pleased with this experience, and since my dogs were coming up for their annual appointments, I decided to have Dr. P exam them instead at the same time. She and her staff were very accommodating to the request, and even worked with our old vet to get their records immediately. Dr. P and her staff are great to work with and the convenience of having your Veterinarian come to you is a luxury well worth it! They were all very knowledge, professional, thorough and their follow up is impeccable. Whenever I hear someone is looking for a new Vet I always refer them to Dr. P with Vet on Wheels. Title: Serious concerns about anesthesia care and documentation…read more I am sharing my experience so other pet owners can make informed decisions. I brought two of my dogs, Gigi and BooBoo, to Pet Dental Center in Estero for dental procedures that required anesthesia. During Gigi's procedure (February 2025), she experienced cardiac arrest under anesthesia and had to be resuscitated. The clinic could not provide a clear explanation for the cause of the cardiac arrest. Later, during BooBoo's procedure (September 2025), he experienced severe airway collapse during anesthesia induction and ultimately passed away after transfer to an emergency hospital. After both incidents I requested the complete medical and anesthesia records. The records I received appear incomplete and missing important monitoring data, including ECG/EKG information and anesthesiologist documentation. I had specifically agreed to procedures only if anesthesia was managed by the board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist listed by the clinic. However, the records provided do not show anesthesiologist documentation or signature for the anesthesia care. The anesthesia induction for BooBoo appears to have been performed by a technician or trainee, despite my explicit verbal refusal of trainee involvement. The documentation also contains: * missing anesthesia monitoring data * no anesthesiologist notes * inconsistent patient weights * scratched-out medication entries * no documented post-event report after cardiac arrest I attempted multiple times to resolve these concerns directly with the clinic and requested clarification through certified letters, but I did not receive meaningful responses. Because of these unresolved concerns, I submitted a formal complaint to the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine requesting review of the anesthesia protocols, documentation, and provider involvement in both cases. I encourage pet owners to ask detailed questions about: * who will actually administer anesthesia * whether a board-certified anesthesiologist will be physically present * how anesthesia monitoring data is recorded and preserved My goal in sharing this experience is transparency and awareness for other pet owners.

With her age she has some issues and of course undergoing anesthesia was a concern. The quote they gave us for removing all her diseased teeth was jarring not gonna lie, fortunately we are in a position to do it. There was some pre op tests reccomended which they did and echo that needed to be done. Every step of the way they were very reassuring that she would do well in the surgery. The day finally came and she made it through with flying colors, the center called multiple times the next day and we had a followup that day with a final visit 3 weeks later. The center was compassionate and proffessional, highly reccomend, we feel so much better that her mouth is all better now.
