I'm sure this place is better when it's not raining. The sets were great, the animatronics were amazing. The actors were kinda ehhh. Maybe they just didn't want to get wet, maybe the 6pm-8pm time is just too slow for them. Not sure but probably won't come back. We try out different haunts every year but this one didn't really stand out. They have like a food court and games area, which is kind of cool but the games and escape room aren't part of the tickets, you have to pay extra. We have a better experience at a different haunt, same price, with way more attractions and it includes carnival rides and games in general admission tickets. So that was upsetting to know we have to pay even more money after already paying over $100 for general admission. We made the best of it and still had a good time. And this place is cool because they don't FORCE you to have a ticket to be in the general area where food, games, and the gift shop are. You scan your ticket at the attraction line to get into that specific attraction. I was able to hang out at the food area and walk around while waiting for my son and his friends to go to 4 different scary attractions. They loved it, and I was happy I didn't have to pay the $50 ticket fee to sit around and wait for them. Parking is far, and in a grass field. This was our 2nd year coming to this event. It's so much fun for all ages. We love this type of controlled scary, and it's great with friends and family. There are 4 haunted house attractions, we did 2 last year and the other 2 this year. There is axe throwing and much more. There is food and drinks served for purchase on the premises and standing tables throughout. The parking is easy, however there's a lot of walking and not sure if it's appropriate for wheelchair or crutches or any other walking aids. I know the attractions are not "differently abled" friendly. There are port-a-potty on the premises and we're as decent as they can be. The season is from September - November and it's a cool experience. The attractions require you to sit on the flatbed of a truck for hayride house and crawl on the floor in the den of darkness. So be warned. We didn't think the floor crawl was serious, but they were. I recommend this for an evening of fun during the fall season. read more

just now New I visited on Saturday 10/11 when it was raining. I have visited a lot of different haunts. This was one of the worst haunts I have ever been too. If I could give no stars I would. I don't understand how it can be ranked as number 1 for a haunt. The hayride was awful. It was not scary at all especially when it stops and then the monsters come out. There is absolutely no element of surprise! The have a love affair of chain saws, fog machines, and lighted zappers!! Very boring, annoying , and waste of time and money for a haunt! Very amateur! The walk throughs did not have a lot of actors and you were herded like cows through the haunts! They sent in huge groups of people so you felt like cows! Not scary at all! Boo! Did I scare you? Probably not. However, depending on your scare level Field of Screams may be for you! I'm going to start by saying the scare actors live to touch you or get so close to you that they can whisper sweet tales in your ear and there's no question what they whispered. So, take that in for a moment. Ok, now read on... We purchased VIP passes and had a 7:30pm entry time. Our first attraction was the hayride. I shouldn't have gone on this first. We bypassed a very long line with our VIP passes and entered the hayride first. This hayride isn't the type where scare actors jump out from the corn and hop on the hayride. You drive into small bars and the doors close on both sides. Then the show goes on and it's horrifying and after the debacle, the doors open and you move ahead. That probably happens ten times. I don't know. The houses themselves were great. Only they took my friend. We had just entered and I turn around and she's gone. It was terrible. I had to go through the house with a group of strangers. The scare actors live to touch you. I have the heeby jeebies thinking about it. Anyway - it was fun. There's food and games and axe throwing. Parking was very easy and no extra charge. It's worth the experience. Have fun, stay safe, expect close contact and you are golden! Let me just start off by saying I've done ALOT of haunted attractions. I love to be scared and would consider myself pretty brave. However i Had a horrible terrible experience during their black out night which we didn't even know was happening that night. They basically let their actors assault you and don't abide by the safe word that they give you. They were gonna handcuff my friend for one of the haunted houses and she didn't want to. So i told them to handcuff me instead and they pushed her to the ground and forced the handcuffs on her even after she kept repeating the safe word. The actors also kept trying to rip my jacket on purpose because they thought it was nice and kept making comments like "this is too nice for here!" It was literally just a fake leather jacket. Another actor tried to pick me up and take me away from my friends inside one of the houses even after i kept screaming the safe word he wouldn't let me go, my friend had to literally pry me away from him and i had to shove him away just to get him to leave me alone. What can I say about Field of Screams? Well, it is a first class attraction that stays open for more than October/Halloween. I wonder how the park is during Christmas and St. Patty's Day. This place is much like a Hershey's type park. They spent ALOT of money putting this together. 4 separate attractions with food stands and a new Chainsaw Bar for those over 21. Having been to many of these types of attractions, I wanted to note a few things. 1st. Buy your tickets online ahead of time. You can use your credit card here. Once you get to the park, everything is CASH! Plus you want to avoid the ticket crowds by simply bypassing the main gate. 2nd. I visited on a Sunday, thinking there would be less crowds. BIG MISTAKE! It takes a long time just to get parked and make your way to the entrance. plan extra time for this. 3rd. Crowds are so large that it's almost impossible (if not impossible) to get a chance to go through all 4 attactions in an evening. As I tried to go through one, I realized that it would have taken an hour + to make my way to the front of the line. This is mis-management at it's best. And I think they do this on purpose so you will pay the extra (in cash) to upgrade to a VIP ticket. Although you definitely needed this upgrade to enjoy the whole park. This gets expensive. 4th. Pacing of guests/overfilling in each attraction. This is probably the worst part. And the reason so many other ttractions do a much better job. You take the time to come out, spend the money (tickets, vip upgrades, food, drinks) and they push so many people through an attraction at the same time that you can barely take a moment to enjoy it. We had crowds in front of us and crowds pushing into us from behind in the walking attractions. This is all able to be controlled by management. They just want to get you in there and out as quickly as possible to satisfy their legal obligation to you. No chances to enjoy the special effects or take a moment to check out the scenery. No, you are pushed through like cattle. This made it pretty unsatisfying. On the hayride, which I think was the best of the 4 attractions, again, they jammed so many people into these wagons, packed like sardines and uncomfortable. This made it unpleasant. 5th. Actors were very few and far between compared to other attractions. 6th. Return visits. You would think that once you paid, you should be allowed to go into each attraction as many times as you want? No, that is not the case. I tried to go back to the Asylum when it was later and it looked like the crowd to get in was much smaller. Thinking maybe I could have a better experience there, No. I was stopped and told only one time per ticket. Is it worth going just once to experience it? Yes, but just read my info so you don't have any undue expectations. I have heard that people come here year after year. That won't be the case with my family and friends. read more

I've been going to field of screams every couple years, and this year it didn't really live up to the hype. The two haunted houses we walked through, some actors were great and some just didn't want to be there. I could understand where they are coming from since they don't even get paid and the work is just voluntary. When I went a few years ago, each attraction was filled with scare actors who loved their job and customers were actually getting scared. This year was leaning towards the opposite; we walked through many rooms in the houses with no one in them and just animatronics which weren't very scary. In Nocturnal Wasteland, there were maybe about 8 actors in total. Not very scary and not enough actors. I can say, the hayride was the best attraction there, but still, it seemed they were short some actors in each of the buildings and a few only had one actor. They also did not touch you as much or talk enough. The loud noises from the chainsaws and music made it hard to hear the actors script lines. It was too expensive for how little actors were there and the scare factor. Don't get me wrong, I still love FOS, and some actors did well, but this year I was more on the disappointed side of things. I suggest that if the actors were paid and they weren't short staffed, FOS could potentially relive the hype it had years ago. read more

Five stars for a really satisfying experience. They definitely brought their A++ game. I'm so impressed with how much time, effort, and thought the staff and organizers put into developing such a unique and thrilling experience. I read others' reviews and complaints including: 1. Buying the wrong Field of Screams ticket because there's one in Maryland.... come on, really? It's abundantly clear what city and state you're buying your ticket for. Read the fine print. 2. Dealing with long lines. The organizers make it very clear that it gets crowded and they recommend coming earlier than later. We came at 5:30 PM and finished by 8 PM. Perfect time, dark enough, and a good amount of people. 3. Experiencing unfriendly staff. A number of us encountered indifferent staff, but no one was outright rude to us. Most of the unfriendly people were those you don't really interact with very long, like the ticket punchers at the entrance of each attraction. In contrast, Marcie at check-in was very cordial and outgoing and efficient. The lady who had the Harley Quinn attire at the whiffle ball toss game (didn't catch her name) was also really nice, encouraging, and genuinely enthusiastic about her job, which makes game play that much more fun. 4. Feeling that the attractions were not scary enough. The four attractions were all long enough, scary enough, and unpredictable as far as I experienced. Sometimes you just can't please some people, but most reasonable people I think would say this was quite satisfying and well worth the money. Tips: 1. Get there early. 2. Sign up for their emails to get discount codes. 3. Eat beforehand if you're health conscious. Food is standard high-calorie and fried food/carnival fare. 4. Bring cash for games. The hayride was by far the most unique and interesting experience I've ever had. I've been to Field of Screams in Olney, Maryland; Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia; Markoffs' Forest in Poolesville, Maryland; and many others. Well organized. Free parking. Horrible user experience if don't let them take an extra $30/person from you (we were a group of 7) So to start off...the attractions themselves are not bad. We enjoyed them. One star is because if you do not buy the extra $30/person VIP you are a second class citizen, so to speak. Went on the line for the haunted hayride. Waited on line outside the ride, r then again inside the ticket area, for over an hour. They load up all the VIP people on the outside of the hayride, where the characters can interact with you, and put non-VIP in the middle and only after VIPs are all loaded on. Could not have been a worse user experience. We then gave in and bought the VIP and everything was much smoother. No way can do all the 4 attractions for the $55/person charge...so if want to enjoy HAVE to buy with VIP for $85/person. Was disgusted by end of haunted hayride. read more

The good: The atmosphere is amazing. Live music, fire, lights, and a few scare actors walking around the entrance and hanging out by the porta potties. The second you step foot in Field Of Screams, you feel like you're in an entirely different world ! The actors will touch you, grab you, get in your face, yell at you. The bad: The chainsaws are way overdone. The music and sound effects are so loud and the people with scripts don't have any microphone so you miss most of what they are saying. Also the 3ft tall green haired clown at the entrance was quite honestly just a dickhead. Maybe it was a bad day for him or maybe it's because he works for free since all scare actors are volunteer only. He just seems over his "job" in general and walks around with a stank aura. I have been wanting to go to his place for YEARS! I heard so many great things and as someone who goes to 5+ haunted attractions each October, this was a must. I finally decided to go for it this year. My first thought upon entering was very pleased with what I saw. I loved the Carnival atmosphere. They had food, games, free photo booth, a band playing. This atmosphere was VERY different than any other attraction I've been to. And WOW! was this place packed. Granted it was the weekend before Halloween. All the attractions looked really good from the outside. They had 2 security guards perched up on these towers and yelling at people to put back on their mask. I don't have a problem with standing next to a person but everyone was packed into these lines and houses and hayrides like sardines. I'm not going to go into each attraction. They all had very different aspects that I haven't seen before in a haunted house and for that, awesome! However, you were in a Conga line the ENTIRE time in each house which takes away any fear you may have. However my biggest complaint is the hayride. I waited maybe 2 hours to get on. I have NO problem waiting. You want me to wait 10 mins? Fine. 4 hours? Okay. HOWEVER, when it's my turn... DO NOT tell me after x amount of hours, that I have to sit in the middle of the hayride. I DID NOT wait that long to sit in the middle. I have been to other attractions and had some people sit in the middle and if you didn't want to sit there, no problem. You get off and someone else can take your spot... NOT this place! "SIT SIT SIT SIT!" no option to get off or have someone replace your spot in the middle... to me, that's the worst thing. At that time, that just told me you don't care you just care about the money and getting people thru the attraction asap. I understand the want to go home and not be there until 5am but I paid almost $100 for people to come. You also need to either get a moderator on the hayride or have the driver speak up, because NOT ONLY was I in the middle but this group of people next to me was on the phone the entire time and filming the entire time... that 100% SHOULD NOT be allowed. I'm giving it 2 stars because I've been to one or two other attractions that were worse but what a let down. I 100% will not be back or recommend. read more

I was extremely disappointed in almost everything about this haunted house. To start, the timed tickets are pointless they didn't check the time and was letting anyone in. There was no type of temperature checks or anything to make you feel the remotely care about what is going on in the world. Also there is no type of security, you can literally walk in with a bag full of weapons and that's okay no one checks anything! The attractions had the possibility to be extremely scary however it's hard to be scared when the group ahead of you is not spaced out at all, therefore you're hearing the screams 5 seconds before you have the opportunity to be scared. This was happening even when the lines weren't packed. No one was in the line and still they aren't spacing out groups at all. They are not following ANY type of social distancing guidelines. They send you this email about things in place and it is a complete lie. If you do not do the VIP, which for us would've only been necessary for the 1 line we waited in, then you can wait in 1 line for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes for one attraction. They packed the Hayride, literally no space between you and the next party. The hayride line there is no social distancing a hour long line wrapped around and around with no space what's so ever. Of course at this time people want normalcy and want to be able to do things, but this place should not even be open at a time like this. So many frequently touched surfaces with very little hand sanitizer stations. The mix of COVID disrespect and lack of being scared bc they packed people on top of each other. Hands down to the best scary related attraction I have done in years and such at amazing price $30, visiting the 4 mazes and plus $20 if you would like and have to skip the line. I don't even know where to begin. I love every single activity, the experience on the hayride is something I have never done before and I don't want to spoil it for the adventurous, but it definitely got me by surprise and was very happy. Be aware the actor can and will touch you, the activities are not short and are very worth for the price we paid. The team will let you enter by groups and if you want to get the experience, avoid waiting for long to go trough it, because the following group of people can catch up with you and the "scare moments" might be difficult to feel. I was able to go at some point to universal studios for this type of activity and it did not make it up to this level. Definitely a favorite one!!!! Ps. We have done 7 different haunted attractions in 2023 and FOS was unimpressive and not that memorable. Some of their props looked quite old and needing refreshed. FOS relies too heavily on strobe lights and chainsaws to get their scares. The tiny hallways in the den of darkness attic were incredibly hot and not ventilated. But the worst single item that needs corrected immediately is not having the customers go through a metal detector or a bag check. Staff will touch you in inappropriate ways which is completely unexceptionable. I obviously understand they are allowed to touch you as stated multiple times but being grabbed by the neck and having your hair pulled is completely ridiculous. 0-10 not recommend. FUN FUN FUN!!! Hayrides aren't a huge thing in the south, but as part of the Legendary Haunt tour I got to experience why they're such a beloved Northeastern Tradition. They're fun when they're done right! They know what they're doing here at the Field of Screams, they've got it all planned out and you can visit each haunt individually. I started with the Haunted Hayride, which in Fl are kind of a joke. But here they're amazing. With separate scenes, actors who enjoy working out in 24* weather - it was numbingly cold out when I visited, and who love hearing the screams. One of my party even got dragged away by the scarecrows. No safe word was thrown around by us, I can't say that about others on the ride. Their other houses are pretty awesome. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED me some Nocturnal Wasteland. I admittedly got lost there, and I was found, a bag put over my head and made to walk ahead blind. I can see why people might not like that, but I had fun with it. I was 'FOUND" by a band of "thieves" who made me kneel and took off the bag. One of them was very gentle and removed my glasses with care and concern. PROPS to him. He was the memorable one. Not the one who marked my face with the cold, thick blood or the other who was laughing. Once I was marked, my glasses were put on And I was sent to wander alone again. It was fun. I don't know how I was alone in such a populated maze but No one was with me, except the scare actors. I had no voice but I showed my appreciation when I could. The Den of Darkness was well done with theming and actors. I loved how it began in a seance room and ended in a basement, but through it you had to go up stairs and even crawl through a tunnel - One note, don't do the crawl through if the tails of your scarf are dragging under your knees you will almost strangle yourself. Of course if you're from the the north that's probably nothing new. I'm from the south and rarely ever wear one of these things. It was so stupid it was funny. A personal foul. The asylum was well done as well, though I am admittedly concerned when they use the same syringe for everyone and it goes in the mouth. *shudder* i didn't see any alcohol wipes or any kind of wiping between people . Its probably no wonder I came down with the flu. *shrug* The choices you make. But using Jelly Bellys as pills is a great idea. Too bad mine was puke flavoured. ICKY! Don't visit unless you want to be grabbed inappropriately! A scare actor on the Haunted Hay Ride grabbed my head, hair, and neck and refused to let go even when told very clearly to "back off" as this is far over the limits of the "incidental touching" in the waiver (which you don't see or sign until you buy your nonrefundable tickets, nor does the FAQ or anything on the site mention any type of touching). Both times, the scare actor made a direct beeline for me even though I was in the middle of the wagon, and refused to let go despite being told multiple times to stop, as this really crossed a line. The second time, he physically pushed past my partner to get to me and, when my partner stood up in front of me to create a physical barrier, he pushed her backwards onto me, and then cursed us out and told us "not to come to a haunted house if we didn't want to be scared". I love haunted houses and hayrides, but I sure don't love being grabbed against my will, especially not when I physically can't get away. I didn't see anyone else being grabbed remotely like this. The actors were in and out of the wagon, but just sneaking up on people, pretending to lunge at them, usual haunted house stuff. When we talked to security, they downplayed it as "oh the wagon is bumpy, loud, dark, they need to pay better attention to body language, etc" and finally gave us only half a refund as we definitely weren't going to check out any of the other attractions after that. This place got in some serious trouble for the way they treat their actors and it doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't have proper safety measures in place to protect against the kind of people who just want to throw around their power because they have anonymity and a captive audience. They also have a suspiciously large gap in their Facebook reviews from 2017-2020 and regularly delete Instagram comments condemning some of their behavior, so I wish I could say I was surprised. Bonus points for the guy announcing the wagons as they pulled in to pick people up who said "And yes, we really do have a girl driving the wagons! She rides that giant thing all night long." Truly, you'd be better off doing the children's museum haunted house, because at least no one is going to grab you and refuse to let go! Hopefully this post keeps a few unsuspecting young women from having as awful of an experience as I did this season. read more

There are no hand washing stations, no hand sanitizer anywhere to be found. People please stay safe, I would not recommend going here because it's just too many people, and there is not a single Covid-19 protocol in place. read more

Having come from LA and dealt with Universal Studios, Knotts Scary Farm and Six Flags this spot puts them to shame. The haunted hayride is a must! It's a bit of a wait but well worth the wait. They have a dj and clowns/Michael Myers walking by. It's a long ride with about 4 stops with different themes. You have such great scares and props dropping on you. It is legit. After that we did the Den of Darkness and honestly I don't ever remember being so scared in my life. Great maze. Such attention to detail. They know how to scare and it's so great. We bought the scream pass and we didn't have time to finish lol 4 but still well worth the money. wasn't able to get much maze pictures, was too busy running for my life I would love to come back every year read more

Came here for the past two years and it's always been a very fun and enjoyable experience, but this year there definitely wasn't as many actors as last year so it was less scary. I enjoyed the hayride the best but it was better two years ago with more actors, overall I do think it was worth the $35 dollars I paid tho I think it's a well decorated and themed atmosphere and I would do again. read more

Official Haunts and Horror Review Field of Screams is a 4 attraction Haunt located in Lancaster area of PA. They have perfected what I call HorrorTainment. They have a large enclosed midway connected to all 4 attractions which features carnival games, food, merch and 3 levels of 5 minute Escape Rooms. We played Captive and got out with a minute to spare. The two haunted houses feature vertical elements as you have to go upstairs and eventually into the attic before making the trek back down to safety. Den of Darkness was the more intense for me, but Asylum has a cooler look on the outside and is filled with plenty of chainsaws. Nocturnal Wasteland is an apocalyptic junkyard themed outdoor trail with lots of pyro Fx, industrial style sets, and intense actors. The Haunted Hayride was alot of fun as the haywagon repeatedly gets trapped in a building as scareactors swarm around you. There are some very impressive and hard hitting scenes. It does get repetitive at times as far as style, but it hits more than misses. Overall the actors are on point especially in the houses, and the Haunt overall is run well, very organized and safe. Husband and I visited last night. It rained but we didn't let that get in the way of our fun. However, I think that may have attributed to our experience. I will say it was nice that it wasn't as packed as I know this place can get! We had virtually no wait time to do our scares. This was a bonus! Let's start with the hayride. I know, it's a hay ride and that adds to the "scare factor" but there were so many subtle things that could have made this scarier. Let me start with the positives: the scenes and stages were awesome! There is def a lot of money put in to these displays and they were not lacking in any way! Very thorough and painted a great picture. The length of the hayride was also a plus. The whole thing was a solid 20 minutes with over 5 scenes/stops which I appreciated. Here's what could have been better: THE ACTORS!!! Please put more time and money into getting them trained and prepped. I'm not even talking Hollywood makeup- there are masks out there that could take these stops to the next level. Also- the element of suspense and jump scares go a long way. The actors need to remember that patience is there friend in these situations. There were so many times where they jumped "too quickly" or should have held still for just a few moments longer. Let the suspense build in the riders mind- we essentially scare ourselves via our own mind. There were also a few missed opportunities in my mind had there been a couple more actors. Some scenes only had one actor and it was underwhelming. Props to the man with the chainsaw at the end who literally touched every rider and gave them a good scare. Lol My husband an I also did one of the escape rooms which was fun. I think these are a nice touch and again reasonably priced for 5 minutes. I would have liked to do more of them. There is a great selection of food and photo opportunities as well as a gift area which was nice. The games and layout were also great added touches. Very professional. read more

This is our third visit to FoS this past Saturday. Having known that this is #2 on hauntworld.com Top 13 Scariest HH in America 2018, we were curious as to why. They've really upped their game. And there were changes as far as sets and props. It was really great over all, and I'm going back next year. This is not to be missed. read more

Field of Screams - Haunted Houses Near Me - Mountville, Pennsylvania

So, through reading some other reviews, it seems like the lack of actors has been a thing for a while. The asylum was the most scary but that's because there actually was enough actors. We went through the den and there was 3 in total. You could tell where they were supposed to be stationed and nobody was there. The woods had way too much going on, so no way too actually be scared. The hayride was boring. They need more actors. I think it's volunteered based, which with the prices of the tickets you think they could actually hire some actors. Sad really. read more

Since the name "Field of Screams" is used around the country, I want disambiguate - I have only visited the one in Lancaster County, PA, and this is the one I'm writing about. I have *no* idea if the nearby identically named attraction in Maryland has any affiliation with this one. I also fee that I need to state a bias: my family and I *love* haunted houses, corn mazes, ghost walks, and any other similar activities we can find ... including escape rooms. Every year we do our best cram in as many activities as we can - for instance this year it was a corn maze, 2 haunted houses plus FOS's Blackout. I'm not looking at this from the point of view of say a casual tourist or someone looking to do something on a Friday night, I'm looking at it as someone who just loves haunted houses and has a great appreciation for the creativity, fabrication, and crafting that goes into them. We first attended their Blackout night 5 years ago, after seeing billboards and advertising for *ages* and finally deciding to check out what the big deal was. Oh man, we were honestly just completely blown away and have been trying to make it back ever since, and last night we finally made it back, and brought a group of folks with us. Everyone had a blast and agreed it way, way more and better than they expected. From my perspective, it's the most professional haunted-anything in the region, and is approaching theme park levels with the decorum and atmosphere; notice the F, O and S in the cement ? The laser cut metal decorations adorning the top of the fences ? IMO all of that adds up and I appreciate it. I like that you enter into a carnival type atmosphere, with lots of food options, games, etc. Even if we didn't play any of the carnival games this year, it still definitely added to the atmosphere. What I can tell you is that these are just incredibly well done attractions. The Hayride in particular is so extremely professional, it almost has the feeling of a Disney ride - especially thew new sci-fi addition ( don't want to spoil anything by being more specific !). The walk-through one is equally amazing with it's cat walks, and I for one love being bagged at the beginnning (which may just be a black out thing) as for me it's fun to have to feel your way around in the dark. There interactiveness - getting grabbed at, the Dentist, the nurse with the medicine, the chain saw bars actually *touching* you are all super creative additions, and I've noticed now as well that they are now engaging your olfactory senses as well; this icing on the cake is what takes a really great haunted attraction and turns it into a "best of the best" IMO. I mean, they have pyro. PYRO ! (outdoors only in non-constrained areas, looked to be very safe to me; I will not enter an indoor space with pyro). I also greatly appreciated the various kinetic disorientations, from floor panels that shift to the black and white checkered room, and even though my knees don't necessarily like it, the crawlspace is always completely unexpected by everyone. The fact that the haunted houses are in actual houses shouldn't be lost on anyone either. Even the new bandstage is awesome - with the full stage LED backing. All in all the amount of financial investment behind this is ridiculous - I can't imagine what constructing that giant Tesla coil alone cost. There's very little "storebought" anything that I can see; this can only be the accumulation of years and years of very dedicated designing, crafting, and artsing. Deep respect for the level of effort and attention to detail that went into creating so many deeply immersive environments. We drive 1 1/2 - 2 hours each way for it, and it's worth every minute of it. Only real criticisms I can offer are: - Getting VIP was a waste for us, as we arrived right after sundown before the crowds arrived. - Having the second Blackout waiver online would be nice, as we didn't like waiting at the table there to do ours. We were already well prepared for Blackout and didn't need the speal on it. - The band hadn't started by the time we left, a - On the hayride itself, the speakers are so loud I couldn't hear any actors - Bathrooms or at least sinks or wipes to wash up after all the gross stuff in the haunted houses. Wish we had stayed for the 5k, will have to plan ahead for that next year ! Until then .... BOO ! read more
