LeeB and chips! Fresh, warm chips in a basket...at a restaurant!!

Hooray! Two weeks after second vaccine!! Stopped by Fiesta Mexicana and it is a party! Socially distanced karaoke and dinner (we've had a great time watching the singers). My Fiesta Bonita was fresh hot chicken & shrimp that I rolled into warm flour tortillas. LeeB had his favorite dish here, Carne Asada". Everyone seems happy to be out and it's really been fun!

Horrible, don't go!! I cant say it enough! Very sad, since Carlos left.... again can't say enough to not go! We walked in at 819 pm , they said we had 30 mins to eat...Im here Ole Frjolie down the road

Went here with my family of five the other day. We were seated fast and got our food quick. For me the food just wasn't very good. The cheese on all foods had a strange taste. Not really sure how to explain it. Just different. They do offer free chips and salsa which is always a plus and they did have a kids menu.

Combo with a taco and chile relleno. Yum.

Another great Mexican restaurant here in the east end. Food always hot and fresh, great service, reasonable prices and never a wait. The hot salsa is quite spicy, so be warned. There's a sign outside that claims Thursday night is Karaoke night but I've never gone there on a Thursday night. Great food in a hurry.

    Fiesta burger!!

This place is crazy good. Surprisingly the hamburger is so good I rarely eat Mexican. But when I do every dish is generous hot and delicious. I assure you you will not be disappointed!!

Red salsa - too salty; Spicy salsa - very good; Cheese Dip - very good too.

We were seated immediately, given our chips and salsa nearly instantaneously. The restaurant is nicely decorated and inviting. Our server approached us within minutes. We were given two different salsas: a red one that's mild and a much spicier one that was a lot thinner. The red salsa was extremely salty - too salty to eat. The spicy salsa, however, was very delicious. It was in fact spicy hot, but with a medley of popping flavors. The chips tasted freshly made and were perfect for scooping the salsa and cheese sauce. Oh yeah..the cheese sauce was probably better tasting that most I've had in recent. I ordered the Wet Burrito. The flour tortilla was deep fried giving a light, crunchy, and tasty finish. I requested beef and that's where my disappointment surfaced. After the first couple of cuts into the burrito I saw mostly beans and no beef. So what did I ask..."where's the beef!" I cut the entire burrito open and there was literally hardly no beef at all. The burrito got most (approximately 90%) of its filling from the beans. I let the waiter know how displeased I was and he returned it and brought another one with a lot more beef within 5 minutes. What was surprising is how surprised the waiter acted when I complained about my burrito being 90% meatless. Maybe that's how it got its name Wet Burrito because the wetness is from the bean filling. I hate returning my food, but for $10.99 I wanted my beef. After cutting into the remake version a little bit of grease came gushing out, but I ignored it and ate it anyhow. It was good. My friend ordered a top shelf Margarita. It arrived in the beautifully decorated glass (as seen in the photo) and he said it was pretty good, although he didn't drink it all. I wasn't crazy about this place. Therefore, I doubt I'd return. But..I can understand it'll be OK for some people, just not me.

    Nice festive decor.

Dinner last nite with friends. Nice atmosphere and good service. I ordered chiles rellenos poblanos. Tasty. Served with rice and beans. I've never had this dish. $9.99. My friends were pleased with their meals and rated the food 3.5 stars. We all enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa; no complaints there! Overall a pleasant dining experience for the five of us. ////updated review. Dinner here with friend 09/16. Nice festive decor. Energetic and professional staff and servers. B and I both ordered Ground beef (fried) chimichanga. Excellent. Combination platters with the typical beans and rice. Review remains four stars.

Great food and drinks! The margaritas are fantastic. Service is a little slow even when you're the only person in the restaurant but if you have time to wait, it's great!

Very BLAND "Mexican" food. The meats, rice, beans no flavor. The hot salsa did kick but that was it.

    Cheers! Salut!

Gotta give this place 5 stars! Our church group typically invades this establishment every Sunday 15-25 strong. Every staff member is courteous and smiling when they see us. The food is always hot and delicious. They even bring a small sombrero for my 20 month old niece to wear. Always good times to be had there!

    Wet burrito. This thing humongous.

I had been wanting to go for quite some time to try the Birria because I heard it is so amazing, and it really lived up to the Hype! Oh, did I mention they have the viral soft serve margaritas!?!?! I got the strawberry, it was so pretty, excellent presentation and absolutely delicious! I will say it was more like a dessert to me and I would have preferred to have it after my meal instead if before but that's just me. We got there between 6:30 and 7:00 and it was really busy, luckily our friends got there first and grabbed a table. They had already had a round of drinks while waiting on us but it took a while for anyone to come over to greet us or refill their drinks but again it was busy and everyone was helping everyone. We ended up splitting the birria platter and still had plenty of food to take home which we just ate last night as leftovers and were still absolutely fire!! I think the egg roll and quesadillas were my favorite over the tacos bc I love the melty cheese. I also ordered a small side of queso which was surprisingly a little spicy which I really enjoyed. They even surprised us when my BIL ordered a small margarita and it came out in a fish glass (see photo). It was so unexpected but also so cute at the same time ... it's really the little things like this that bring joy, okay? LOL This place was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to try it again.

The food *chefs kiss* was very flavorful and the portion size was just right. I ordered the barria tacos and it was delicious! When we arrived we had a brief wait before we checked in, and were seated on the second level. Our server was excellent, our service was quick and he was always around without hovering. It was bitter cold outside so instead of my usual margarita ($14+) I opted for a beer ($6). We started with the salsa trio, one of my favorites with handmade assorted chips. It includes three salsas, somewhat spicy, sweet tomato and tomatillo - the spicy and sweet were my favorites. Next we ordered the tacos el carbon and carbon burrito - pricing is expensive! We both ordered our steaks medium rare. My tacos had a beautiful presentation, the meat came out on a skewer and smoking from the hot coals. All toppings were repeated on the plate. The steak was overcooked and tough though. Had a nice smoke to it, but very chewy. My husband enjoyed his burrito but wasn't the best he's ever had. They also had a mariachi band walk around but they had "tips" all over their instruments and clothes. Overall we had a nice meal but the price point doesn't equal the food quality.

We were leaving for the second leg of our trip and were running late, as usual. We decided to run across the street for a sit down lunch, what's another hour? Two smiling faces greeted us at the door. They offered a high top but my hip was absolutely not digging it nor a table up the flight of steep stairs. Once seated, we were greeted promptly and had water in front of us almost immediately. We each ordered soup and then a sandwich to share. I had the Sopa de Pollo . A hot bowl thick with thin noodles and lots of chunks of chicken. The chunks were too big to eat without being cut up which was a challenge in a bowl of broth. It was so hot that I had to wait a while to try it and even then had to blow on it. It was delicious. Unless the soup is your meal, order a cup. I still took nearly a pint of soup back with me. My husband ordered the Frijole Negro - a huge bowl of black beans that was served with a large pile of raw onions on top. Like the chicken soup, it was burn your mouth hot and a very large serving. He said it was good but he'd not order it again. Moving on to the sandwich. We had the Cubano. I'm not even going to describe it - just trust me - order the Cubano. Do not look at the rest of the menu - order the Cubano. Don't even bother looking at the ingredients, just order the Cubano. Have you ordered it yet? Do it already. The Cubano is huge. We split one half and had the other when we arrived at our next stop. Do consider that we had soup first; otherwise, we'd have eaten the whole thing. The accompanying plantain chips were worthy of their own review. They were wonderful. Who knows if and when we'll be back to Louisville but when we are, La Bodeguita will be the first place we stop. BTW, have you ordered the Cubano yet? What are you waiting for? Put your phone done and order it! Enjoy!!
