    Roasted Oolong Tea with Tapioca
    Rochelle P.

I am a big fan of Fiftylan specially after trying their drinks at the very first location in North York. This downtown location is conveniently located near Bay St. , Eaton Centre, TMU subway station and St. Patrick station. The store is clean and bright and their staff is welcoming and friendly. I got to try their limited edition drink for the holidays: Dark Lava Milk Tea chocolate-flavoured milk tea that offers a unique crack and crunch experience. Made from a combination of crisp chocolate sauce, wheat crisp chocolate sauce, and blended with lactose-free milk tea. The festive drink is creamy, delicious and a perfect treat for the holidays! I also got to try some of their refreshing drinks like Roasted Oolong Tea, Mango Green Tea Macchiato, Coconut Yuzu Green Tea. I don't think they have a washroom for customers coz the store is designed for grab and go. I definitely recommend taking the transit when visiting.

This is a new bubble tea place near Yonge and Bay. I tried the yuzu green tea and added coconut jelly as a topping. The drink was pretty refreshing. The tea was brewed nicely but it was quite sweet for my personal preference. I got 0% sugar but it was still very sweet. This might have been from the coconut jelly I added though. In terms of yuzu taste, it taste almost exactly like the Yuja-cha concentrates you can buy at the Korean grocery stores. The interior of the store is small and there is limited seating (only a few benches). One thing that did not make sense was that there wasn't a menu on the television screen. They have actual physical menus, but it's difficult to get to if you're standing in line to order. Overall, I would say this is average bubble tea. It's also a bit on the expensive side.

I ordered peach green tea and it is just so so. But maybe because I didn't order the popular one such as some milk teas.

This place got a large variety of different drinks. They also have daily deals where you can get…read moredrinks for $4 medium size and $5 large size. Drinks are colourful and tasted good. Ingredients they use are good quality and are made in front of you. Their ice cream waffle snack is a must get. It pairs up with their drinks well.

I went here a couple weeks ago because I was craving a bubbletea. While my bubbletea craving is…read morestill at large, I enjoyed my experience here. Walked in and it was instantly warm inside. Contrary to the weather outside. The young worker behind the counter greeted me with a smile, in spite of their preoccupation in making drinks. I asked her questions to help me narrow down my choice. I settled on a creamy mango with boba. With less ice and less sweetness. It was refreshing and satisfying, next time I will ask for 80% sugar because going down to 50% was too much of a drop. The place is pretty modern inside with an exposed brick interface, it kind of gave me the impression of being on a street in Taiwan. Outside they have this cute street post sign on the side of their building. All in all, service 10 outta 10, ambiance 10 outta 10 (although when I went the only other customer had left, so knowing how loud it gets, I was not able to decipher and that may impact this rating.) And drink... ah 7 outta 10. This is because it came out to be expensive for the size . Will try again.
