It had been about 4 months since my last haircut. Which, in the world of people who pay attention to their hair, is a long long time. The only time I pay any attention to my hair is when I am crying watching it go down the drain. I have never received so many compliments after a haircut. People said I looked 10-15 years younger. Always a good thing, as I push closer and closer to ___! The staff is very nice, the music is groovy, the seating in the waiting are looks nice, but isn't that comfortable. There is usually some video or movie playing. Free coffee or bubbly water. Not cheap, but worth it.

I got assigned a man working in the corner, he was middle aged and had short dark hair. Right off the bat he seemed out of it and kept running into things, talking wildly to those around him, and dropping the tools he was using. I also noticed a woman at the counter staring down at him disapprovingly the entire time he rummaged about. I just said I wanted a fade on my sides but what he began to do was so reckless and unconcerned that two minutes in I knew I was in a seriously bad situation. Ultimately he spends 7 minutes wrecking my hair and giving me a stupid and embarrassing blotchy fade.
