Jerry came out the day I called - amazing for any business - measured and gave me a quote. I don't think it was a week later and he was calling saying it was done. He and a helper installed it on one of the hottest days of the summer and it looks amazing. Jerry didn't remember but he was the one who installed the garage railing 5 years ago. I have a ~40 year old Pfaff 1215 that I use to make big kites and the foot pedal had died. As well, the machine was struggling with some of the 3 and 4 layer heavy nylon sewing that I do which I have to use heavy duty upholstery thread for which really works the machine hard. Victor took a hold of that thing and in just a few minutes figured out how he could set me up with a working foot petal (a factory replacement would have been $80) and also do a complete reconditioning (which usually runs $100) - both for $150. Victor is very knowledgeable about the inner workings and construction of the sewing machines he services and I can vouch he carries on the tradition of his father's commitment to good service. The salesperson was great at explaining the difference between the two. I feel that I purchased the better unit and will last for a long time. It takes a lot of gull to speak to someone- let alone a potential paying customer the way I was today on the phone. It look a solid 2-2.5 mins for me to decide, I NEVER would support this business. Mayo welding- Do yourself a favor and disconnect the phone lines altogether; not like you answer them much anyways, OR get someone who understands customer service, because the person I spoke to on the phone today is clearly a welder.
