Another great experience at Figs. I just love this place. It really is a hidden gem. Their daily happy hour is amazing! Plenty of martini and mixed drink options and appetizers like the beef carpaccio and house flatbread.

Came here for Happy Hour--really great specials, especially on food. Favorites were the beef carpaccio and the shrimp scampi. The prosciutto flatbread had way too much Gorgonzola on it. I would definitely ask for light on that if you decide to order it. It was pungent and overwhelming. Some of my friends ordered a few items from the regular menu and enjoyed them. Happy hour is only at the bar, 4-7. I would definitely come back for happy hour and to try the main menu. My friends said their steak is delicious.

We visited Fig's Prime for a birthday celebration dinner. It was a group of a little over a dozen people. We were able to be seated within a short period of time. We were all together on the right side of the restaurant. The restaurant is very intimate and appealing and yet still suitable for groups. There was also another party if diners who were celebrating a birthday. The seating is very comfortable. The staff is great. Our wait staff answered any questions we had and offered recommendations. The food was delicious. The oysters were great. I especially loved the Shrimp & Grits. The grits was creamy and had the right amount of flavor and cheese. Overall: A+ I would definitely visit Fig's Prime again. Good staff, better atmosphere and great food.

Surprisingly, I had never heard of this place aside from magical dining. Tonight I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were cheddar but not overwhelming. They came with asparagus. But actually blended well. My appetizer was the Cesar salad. My desert was a chocolate rum torte. (A little piece of Heaven) That atmosphere was quiet and nice place for a girls evening to catch up or a date night. Waiter was very attentive

Came here one evening with some friends whom this is their favorite restaurant. The ambiance is pure luxury. You walk in and you feel very upscale. Fancy tablecloths, fancy light fixtures, overly polite servers, the whole nine. We started off with the Goat Cheese Croquettes (served over caramelized onions, pears and figs in a butter-almond liqueur). Really good dish. The sweetness of the fruit, the bitterness of the arugula, the savoriness of the onions, all pair uniquely and so well with that tangy goat, as well as with the crunch from the breading of the fry. So good. So my main event, I got the 16 oz Prime New York Steak, medium rare of course. Just a note, premium hand-cut steaks are prepared on the grill topped with butter, served with complimentary potatoes and asparagus - no substitutions please. So be ready for that. Not that their asparagus and potatoes are bad, but it's just a huge lack of creativity. Anyway, the steak was good. Great sear, well seasoned, a proper cook throughout. The best cooked steak of that thickness that I've had in a while. Kudos to Fig. And I'm not sure about the asparagus, but I always order mash with steaks anyway. I also got to try the 16 oz Veal Chop, cooked medium (gorgonzola crust and honey balsamic glaze). This is it. This veal chop is the reason to come to this restaurant. Amazing cook, the thickness of the chop really accentuated the natural flavor of the veal, served on the bone which was badass, and the accompaniments added a nice depth of flavor that kept every bite of this chop interesting. Wonderful. We finished off with the Chocolate Rum Torte (flourless chocolate torte, fudge like consistency served with raspberry sauce and whipped topping). It was good, exactly as described, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for, so unless you're a raging chocoholic, get the bread pudding like I wanted to. Overall, as very nice meal. Solid quality food cooked very well.

Boyfriend wanted Lamb for his birthday after reading many reviews I chose Fig's and it did not disappoint!! Absolutely lived up to the hype! Lamb was perfect! My Pappardelle with chicken was heavenly as well! So buttery and delicious! The bread pudding dessert was also delicious and can I say the portion sizes for everything were amazing! Definitely brought some leftovers home! They also brought us out some champagne for a toast, we don't drink so they gave us ginger ale! They definitely made my boyfriend's birthday so special! Decor and coziness was perfect as well! Go check this place out!!

Pros: Ambiance was gorgeous. It looks like the bottom of an office building from the front, but inside, it's a beautiful hotel style steakhouse, complete with dim candle lighting. Really a nice ambiance. Service was about the same level. White tablecloth, very polite servers, carafe of water at the table, really nice folks. And the food! All this place had to do was nail the cook on the steaks, and it did that. We had a perfect medium rare strip and a perfect medium veal chop. Cons: I'm sure there are economic reasons, but every steak or chop came with the no choice of only two sides, their mashed potatoes and their asparagus. Not cool. Would have deducted a star for this lack of creativity if it wasn't for the sides actually being delicious. Tips: Get the veal. Any good steakhouse can get you a great strip, but the veal chop from this place was different, on another level.

I came here for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation for 6pm. We came a little early to take advantage of the Happy Hour but were disappointed that we could not partake since we were seated and they only allow HH at the bar. We ordered Espresso Martinis and they were top tier! I've tried them at many restaurants and Fig's has some of the best I've tasted! We ordered appetizers (Avocado Crab Stack & House Flatbread) and were ready to order entrees but our waitress walked off abruptly after taking our appetizer orders. The Avocado Crab Stack was slightly bland but the crab was incredibly fresh! My boyfriend enjoyed the flatbread so much he ate it ALL! I had a bite and it was really good but I'm not a big flatbread/pizza fan. Eventually, we were able to order entrees (New Zealand Rack of Lamb & Chilean Sea Bass) both were really delicious but I think the Sea Bass was my favorite meal of the night and stole the show! It was a buttery, melt in your mouth situation. Seasoned to perfection and the risotto was truly the best I've ever had! For dessert we had the Bourbon Fig Bread Pudding. That was flavorful and the strawberries and drizzle of sauce heightened the taste. We definitely should've asked for more sauce. We(and now you) know for the future. Things that bothered me: -The couches against the windows were difficult to get in and out of and were lower than the chairs. The difference in seating arrangements at the same table would seem awkward when people are sitting across from each other. My boyfriend and I chose to sit in the chairs instead of the couch. -The SINGLE bathroom is right by the kitchen area and bar with no real wall/barrier.

First time visiting Fige prime steakhouse, came during Magical dining and what a great experience I have. Food and service was excellent. Elegant vibes and great decor. Food was so tasty. The menu was exceptional with great options. For the first course I got the goat cheese croquete, Second course filet migon, steak was tender and perfectly cook accompanied with mash potatoes and asparagous. For the dessert i got a tiramiso.

The food and drinks here are SO good! Everything we had tasted amazing. Our waiter was excellent and the overall service was some of the best we have had in all of Orlando. Even with a large party of 20 people seated next to us the noise level was still low, and the ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful. Parking was super easy, too. Highly recommend!

For appetizers, our table shared the empanadas and the calamari. Both were solid choices. For my entree, I got the New Zealand rack of lamb cooked medium rare. It came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The meat temperature was perfect and the green pepper corn sauce was bright and zesty. The meat was so tender! The garlic mash was buttery and rich. The asparagus were soft, with just a hint of crunch, which I love. The dining room is beautiful and it's an overall great experience! Be sure to check them out!

We drive 15 miles to enjoy Figs Prime. It is truly worth the effort. Food is excellent. Service is above and beyond. Usually you'd pay 50% more for the atmosphere and service. We have been going to Fig's for four years now and have reservations next month. Need I say this restaurant is well managed. They open the door for you. A hidden gem! The atmosphere is great, what a beautiful restaurant. The service was wonderful. I had the burratta appetizer, so good the truffle oil was the perfect complement to the dish. My friend ordered the signature soup, so amazing. For my main course I got the ribeye and added a lobster tail. It was heavenly. I consider my self quite the mac and cheese conisiure, I was not let down. It was delicious and a nice size portion. The wine list had a nice selection of great wines at very reasonable prices. I will 100 percent be back. This is my new favorite spot. A great place for date night! read more

Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. Salads were delicious, big enough to share. All of the main courses we ordered (filet mignon, veal and fish of the day) were excellent, however the sides that came with the meals (mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables) were not that great. I am not sure why this restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night. The food and service was great. We had the carpaccio, split a wedge and had the veal chop and seafood soup. We ended with the orange cream brûlée. All was excellent. If you read reviews you heard about Missy the server. She was as good as the reviews. Here are my only criticisms. If you want more business you need to get on Open Table. Second, the crowd was 40-60 somethings and the music was today's pop which is not really music. Need to go to a jazz or standards environment. Finally they need some nice wine glasses and use coffee cups not water glasses for coffee. These are picky comments. Nice addition to the restaurant scene. read more

Food was decent, service was terrible. Our server at our table was the bartender and didn't pay much attention to us. It was pulling teeth to get a water refill. The service assistants didn't do much to support the server either. No check in to see how our food was.. they even brought the check before we received our desserts. 38 mins after we finished our meals, our dessert arrived, which was subpar and not really enjoyable anyway. After discussing our visit with the manager, he made excuses and had no resolve except "we're busy, can't you see that".. $162 worth of meals that tasted great, but the lack of service made it awful. We won't be back, that's for sure. Our advice, there are so many other steakhouses in this area, go to another one. They don't really care here, so don't waste your money. read more

Great first experience at Fig's Prime. We came in on a Monday night, sat at the bar, and Tim provided perfect service from start to finish. We ordered the a bottle of Pino Noir and the beef empanadas to start. The Smoke Tree Pino Noir was an excellent wine, one we hadn't tried before. For dinner we split the NY Strip (pan seared) and ordered the Mac n Cheese. Everything tasted delicious!! The restaurant has nice ambiance and atmosphere, with a good menu selection of steaks, seafood, and side items. A great experience that will bring us back is always fun. read more

Have been many times for happy hour, great wine prices but last night food was pretty much a miss. Crab stack had spinach on the bottom instead of arugula changed the texture and taste. Then we shared a happy hour burger and flat bread. Burger was ordered medium but was more medium rare but no one came to check out n us to send it back. Frys were limp, flat bread was ok. read more

Chef Victor and his wife nailed it !! Absolutely beautiful ambiance , the best paella I ve had so far in the USA and sorry even some parts of Spain , the steak Is a great selection . Everyone that has gone with my husband and I has loved this cozy place and all have been amazed of the food and service And are now going with their friends and family . Pretty good restaurant and bar. Unfortunately they have not found a real identity. It's a very nice room with a few exceptions. One being the views. Not that it's a bad view, but who wants to eat looking at traffic? Not I. Put some covering over the lower windows, and the room would appear very plush. The selection of music was pathetic. I guess if my 13 year old daughter had been with us she would have loved it. Her parents do not. Expand a very limited menu. Unless you're planning on making it as a steak house, offer something different. I must admit that my veal chop was very good, but the fig sauce was terrible. Way to sweet and cloying. A Cabernet reduction would be much better. The seafood stew was delicious with an excellent broth. With a bit of tweaking this place could be awesome, and probably much busier than the Saturday we were there. I'm hoping that this place can survive, but competition is fierce in Seminole county, and I think they will have to up their game to make it. Good luck. read more

This is my first time at Fig's Prime. The atmosphere is beautiful. I am not sure it this was an off night but the food and service were disappointing. The time between courses was far too long. We had goat cheese appetizer and it was OK a little over done. By the time we got our main meal we had been at the restaurant for over 1.5 hours and it had been 40 minutes since our last course. I had the Shrimp and Scallop with Grits. The scallops were undercooked and under seasoned. Many tables around us were seated after us and received the meals before us. The most disappointing thing was my husband had the fish special. His fish was raw and cold almost frozen in the center. They offered to get us something else but thy were not sure how long it would be. At this point we were tired and ready to leave so I shared my meal with him. The only person that seemed concerned about it was the waitress. We will not be back. read more

Family went for Easter brunch, despite having reservations waited over 1 hour for a table, were finally seated and waiter brought water and then disappeared for 20 minutes. Fruit salad came out with bad fruit...not pretty. Entrees were good, service got better after entrees were served. Yes it was Easter and yes they were a bit busy but still when you makes reservations and show up on time, the wait was not worth the experience. read more

I went for lunch and it was great. Very quiet. Great atmosphere. I've worked in the area for many years and never thought about going for lunch. I assumed it was a dinner place only but they had a nice lunch menu. I must admit the lunch menu is extremely limited but the few things they did not was rather tasty and not expensive. This is a place you and your coworkers can go for lunch and still stay within your budget. I found it affordable. read more

The service was very good -thanks to Chad- in spite of a very busy Friday night, and also surprising because the four of us each received a champagne flute with a couple ounces of the bubbly, courtesy of a manger, to hep us celebrate! Of course the dark wood accents, the booths for a little more intimacy, and fires (real and video) really enhanced our enjoyment of the night. We selected flatbreads, entrees, a starter and a side for our meals. My Lump Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Mushroom started my night right with a wonderful crunchy combo kept hot in the little iron pan. I found that the Chipotle BBQ shrimp flatbread toppings complemented well, with the spice and heat of the poblano peppers mixing with the sweet acidity of the pineapple. My 3 ounce pour of the Côte Mas 'Rosé Aurore' from France provided a mellow yet slightly sweet taste that paired well with my seafood. We've dined at this establishment several times over the past few years, but our most recent visit last Monday was by far the most disappointing. During the magical dining event, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only eight guests--four at the bar (where we were seated) and four at tables. Despite the sparse crowd, the bartender seemed overwhelmed and had difficulty checking in on us. Our meal stretched to an hour and 40 minutes for just three courses (starter, main, and dessert). Regrettably, the 8 oz fillets we ordered appeared more like NY strips, contained gristle, and were overcooked to the point of being heavily charred. The flourless chocolate cake was more akin to fudge or chocolate icing with a dollop of whipped cream, falling short of the standards we've come to expect and seen from other local steakhouses. In conclusion, the food quality was disappointing, and coupled with the service issues, we've decided not to return after giving this place ample opportunities to impress us and keep our business. read more

We dined here last night, and while the service and atmosphere were exceptional (10/10!), the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the pasta, which was unfortunately disappointing. It lacked seasoning--no salt, no flavor--just a spoonful of olive oil and dry chicken. For the price, it was not worth it, and I ended up leaving most of it untouched. My fiancé ordered the prime ribeye ($60), which I tried. Honestly, I've had better steaks at the same price point elsewhere. It didn't live up to its cost. We started with the carpaccio as an appetizer, but it fell flat. There were way too many capers, onions, and bread overpowering the dish, leaving only a few slices of carpaccio itself. The goat croquettes were probably the highlight of the meal for me--delicious, but the portion was so small it barely made an impact. This is an amazing restaurant, and it was not our first time visiting. Today, we celebrated our 30th anniversary and decided to treat ourselves to some delicious food. We enjoyed the chicken rebosado and the veal scallopini, which were both fantastic. To make the day even more special, we also had some refreshing cocktails. For dessert, we shared a rich chocolate torte and a delightful pistachio gelato. It was a lovely evening filled with great food, drinks, and wonderful memories. The waiter Franco was very attentive and friendly during our meal. He made sure we had everything we needed and did not rush us. He also told us about the special of the day, which sounded delicious. Franco also shared about the restaurant's history and the owner. It was nice to learn about how the restaurant started and what makes it special. I recently dined at Fig's steakhouse, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite having a reservation, we weren't seated until 30 minutes after our scheduled time. Once we finally got to our table, it took over 20 minutes for the appetizers to arrive. When the salads came out, they were warm, as if they'd been sitting in the kitchen window for too long. As for the main courses, the food was subpar and did not live up to expectations. On top of that, the service was lacking, with inattentive staff and slow responses. Overall, this visit left much to be desired. Our dining experience at Fig's Prime was exceptional. I enjoyed the Beef Bourgogne, which was prepared to perfection and full of flavor. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, creating the ideal setting for a special occasion. We visited to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and she was thoroughly impressed--a rare occurrence, as she is typically quite discerning. My fiancé and I have been talking about dining at Fig's Prime for months now and with his birthday coming up, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity. Katlyn was our server and she truly went above and beyond for us. She showed us excellent menu knowledge and had a couple suggestions up her sleeve. Katlyn honed in on her hospitality skills by having balloons at the table when we sat down and a thoughtful note that said "Happy Birthday" on the plate of tiramisu. I have loved everything I have tried here! We usually come for happy hour. Excellent food and good wines at great prices. Their carpaccio is fresh and perfectly sliced. The shrimp scampi has a wonderful flavor. Can't go wrong with the grilled oysters. The crab/lobster bisque is fantastic. Ambiance is beautiful. Excellent service! My friend and I sat at the bar and received great service! Fig's has a good happy hour that runs til 7 pm. We both opted for the salmon special which was perfectly cooked and was very tasty. Fig's has an upscale feel to it with a quiet sophisticated ambience! We've eaten here quit a few times and have never been disappointed. read more

This was our first time eating here and it didn't disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. We both had the steak and it was perfectly cooked. The clam appetizer was delicious with a surprise sweetness to the broth. The bread pudding was so moist and delicious. We will be back for sure. read more
