Quel cours amusant! I decided to return again for a second time after the kind owner, Sam, reached out to me and invited me to return. The class today was with the beautiful instructor, Leilani. Her class was so fun and challenging. I enjoyed every moment and there were definitely several times where I was literally shaking and dripping sweat. It felt so good to learn new Pilates moves that I had never tried before. It's so exciting to see the creative lessons that instructors come up with. Note: shoes are requested to be removed at the entrance to help keep the studio clean. Each class is 50minutes. Evelyn was the instructor for my first class at this location. She maintained a steady pace, provided clear instructions, and offered modifications throughout for both beginners and more advanced clients. And, consider me IMPRESSED! This studio is stunning. I wasn't sure what to expect bc it's in a strip mall but as soon as you open the doors you're transported into an exceptional space. The studio is beautiful, the instructors are all kind, very passionate, and amazing. I love how the owner does pop ups with other brands and how they give a gift (tote bag and socks) with a membership. 10/10 marketing. Now, for the constructive. Overall, I thought the sequencing was very boring. Time under tension emphasized holding the movement for really long times. The sequencing didn't seem to progress either, so it just never really felt like we were flowing. I'd find myself in class just really... bored. We also rarely ever started with footwork which I thought was how all practices should start. There's so much I love about this studio; for a while I thought maybe I just wasn't into Pilates anymore?
