I'd definitely make Dirty Dick a spot to visit if you're doing a crawl.

I ordered the painkiller my first time around and it was perfection! The atmosphere of tiki music, Caribbean-inspired artwork and leis and tiki shields adorning the walls transported me to a beach in the Bahamas for a few minutes. We knew we had to come back our last night and did so! I ordered the Miami Vice Negroni and it was a complex drink. I still can't determine if I liked it or didn't. I got different sweet and bitter notes each sip. My husband got the extra grog strength drink and it was a hit! Do yourself a favor and come here! You won't regret the slight deviation from wine and champagne and enjoy the reprieve!

Enter Air France a Lounge La Première. Thanks to my mom's membership, we were able to enjoy a nice breakfast before our endless day (you know the kind--your flight leaves at 10:30 in the morning and you land after 1:00 in the afternoon, despite being on the plane for over 8 hours). This lounge is beautiful and comfortable, is full of light (wonderful view of the tarmac so you can watch the world go by), and boasts a wonderful selection of food. You can enjoy a pastry, bread with beurre et confiture ou miel, cheeses, meats, or fruit. There are many options for beverages as well. There is great service as well. If you have access to the club, take advantage of it if you are flying into or out of this terminal. It beats the duty free!

The lounge was moderately occupied on a Sunday morning at 9AM. There are two full floors with plenty of seating. Each area has its own buffet table and self-serve bar. There are some unique offerings, like a smoothie bar on the second floor and a "detox" bar with healthy options in the corner of the first floor. I appreciated that you could scan a QR code for a detailed allergen menu. Each seat comes equipped with a USB port and I had no issues with the first one I sat down at. I didn't eat much while I was here (wasn't huge on breakfast + too early in US time) but saw many people enjoying a pastry. The fruit smoothie was quite good and the coffee was decent. I saw ABK6 Cognac on the self serve liquor bar so there are definitely some good local options. The changeover to lunch happens around 11. They bring out more dessert options (I tried the Mille Feuille - Light enough, but not that flaky) and more hearty food. I saw salads, soups, and some proteins. There are little French pastries (madelaines) to take to go if you're in a rush. Free open wifi, no password needed.

It's 2 stories so you won't feel cramped. The staff are all so kind and accommodating. Although they don't have a full service bar they do have drink options self serve. We ended up going with Ava and her boyfriend Yassine, lining up after dinner, around 10:30 on a Friday night. There was a small crowd waiting outside, and it took us about a half hour to get in. The place was fun and busy, and as charming as I remembered. We got seated in a loungey upstairs area and received excellent table service. There was free popcorn and even a complimentary round of welcome drinks, a strong mini cocktail of Gentian and peated whiskey. The menu had changed over completely since my first visit. The cocktail offerings were printed onto thick printed leaves arranged on metal branches, forming a cool little tree centerpiece that replaced a paper menu (there was also a more detailed menu available online). Several of the cocktails were labeled with raindrops, indicating they were available as mocktails--helpful for Yassine, who doesn't drink alcohol. Matt and I shared two rounds, sampling a good chunk of this new menu. Everything was delicious. The Carbone was a bright, interesting cocktail made with beetroot, black garlic, Origin smoked gin, and Dartigalongue Un-Oaked, served with a cube of frozen yogurt that melted lushly into the beet-red drink. The Serre Solaire was smooth and boozy, with black tea, green walnut and milk, Cointreau, and Rémy Martin cognac. The Résilience was a highbrow tropical cocktail, with sorghum, pineapple sage, Pasquet cognac, and Savanna rum. The Permaculture was creative and flavorful, with chestnut, butter, wakame umeshu, and Avallen Calvados. I also tried a sip of Ava's Aquaponie, a light, juicy vodka drink with basil, lemon and sweet clover, St. Germain, and Grey Goose. I love Little Red Door and I'm glad I got to visit a second time and share it with my husband. We do live kind of far away, but I hope a third visit is in the cards.

But it is perfect at being right here in this remote terminal and that's why five stars is deserved.
