Been here a few times, and I always tell everyone about this hidden gem of a place. Today was disappointing. I paid the bill and left without eating, and packed up my Prime Rib for my neighbor's dog. I brought in friends to try this place for the first time, and I even told the waitress that I've been showing up once a week. One photo from my previous visit was perfectly medium rare. Excellent service, and somebody from the kitchen actually came out and greeted my whole party and checked on us. We shared with him how great our food and service was. Tonight was like the opposite. Other photo is the prime rib I got today. Ordered it medium rare and it was almost well done. I let the waitress know, she takes it back to the kitchen, then comes a few minutes later and says "sorry, we can't change this, its not well done". I kept it cool. The food was go but the service OK You should try it, but do not order to go cause they try to give you less portions of the food, you order order four chicken Alfredo each plate is about $26 +5 dollars for the chicken so when I got my order, they put a container with small only fit two and tell you the way is 25 minutes to highway an hour to get my foot really inconvenient. I think the one in San Diego Po yes way is a little bit better. The portions are more in the same money you pay for. Cali was great she's new but she knew what the best dishes were! She even brought a desert for my daughter's birthday she was a great server polite kind friendly and very attentive! Prices are responsible. I would definitely go back for the Cajun pasta it the so delicious I'm still craving it. I would go back! I have been to their Little Italy - San Diego location, their Poway location, their Napa Valley location, then there's this location. The worst of the 4 I've been to. This was the second time I've been to the Norco location, last time I was here was four years ago. Today I took my parents who had never been here, and I was ranting to them about how they have giant meatballs and really good pizza. Well today they had no giant meatballs, the pizza was super bland, took forever to order, even longer wait to get the food. Also asked for lemons and marinara sauce three times before finally getting it. My mom's water cup was empty for like half an hour, never got offered a refill. The server was nice, her service though was super slow, like turtle slow. If you're gonna try Filippi's, I suggest you go to a San Diego County location and skip Norco. Super basic Italian food with no flavor and you'll be there foreverrrrr. Better off going next-door to "last chance bar" and just have a drink and then go eat somewhere else. read more

We went to Last Chance Inn, a bar next to Filippi's. This bar serves food from Filippi's. We have been here several times and will be back. We got a pastrami pizza which sounded kind of odd at first but... Amazing! We've since had the loaded meatball and several other types of pizza, all of which were very good. We stumbled on this quaint little spot planning on a karaoke excursion next door. It's a smaller spot with intimate sitting and an open view to the chef through the servers window. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed but found her comfort and groove to complement our evening with humor and hospitality. We were in a party of six and tried a variety of generous portions and surprise flavors including the traditional spaghetti with an added meatball (the size of a baseball), shrimp scampi, the veal, and two different pizzas. We also asked the cook if we could try the Alfredo sauce for dipping which she graciously served us a generous cup of to savor with the buttered garlic bread. Everyone enjoyed their meals and took home half an entree in leftovers. I would definitely recommend for being in the heart of Norco, next to a country bar! It's a good place to consider for a low key dinner out with friends. The pizza is my favorite on the menu. The service is always very friendly, but the pace does depend on how busy the restaurant is, so just extend grace and know that they haven't forgotten about you. Was so disappointed! We had tried Filippi's in Temecula and loved their food, portion size and quality of the food there so we thought to try this place because its closer to us. Boy I can't even begin... there is no mozzarella (the Temecula location's very generous with their mozzarella and it is delicious), the french roll is definitely not freshly made (like the other location) and the garlic bread (its not huge thick slices of freshly baked sourdough, its on thinly halved long french style bread). But firstly, our order was missing the french roll (still under the impression that it was like the other location) we had to go back in to ask for it and only to find that its moldy! So that was our first experience at this location. Rating is based on the additional hidden Supplemental Fee, What that for? If it's to supplement the cost of, just rase you prices. Hidden fees like that will drive customers away, including us. We normally only order the Torpedo sandwich and Antipasto salad which are very good. Sometimes we order a couple of bones if they have them. Prime rib is good also, only place I have found better Prime rib is at Orange Hills restaurant.
