This time around for dinner I just went and got myself a cheese pizza for my wife and I

This place is great food, and it is worth a drive if you're looking for a place to eat, and you'll like Italian. I really enjoyed the anti pasta salad that I had tonight, I'm sure I'll try something else the next time, some of their meatballs, pasta, and some other goodies that I'm sure as good as a salad.

Here's the dressing they charged 2 bucks

This place has got pizza but pricey food it's been expensive since Covid I haven't been here in a while usually the staff is mehh. When I go to this location I always hope they have new waitresses but that's never the case. Every time I order a salad they never give me enough salad dressing. By the way this is the only filippis who doesn't give enough salad dressing for an anti pasta. Now from my understanding the ani pasta feeds 2 right? So why you pull shyst on the dressing? The other Filippi's gives you more dressing . Anyways when I get charged for extra salad dressing don't be surprised it comes out of your tip. Also the sodas are 4 bucks over here.

    Half order lasagna and meatball.

Our family went here for dinner and then joined the Karoake singing in the bar area afterwards. Service was awesome, food is delicious as always, portions are (omg) huge! All in all, we've been to the other locations and this one was our first time. Well worth it! Will return again. Thank you Filippi's staff for making our visit so enjoyable!

What an excellent surprise today. We were getting our car fixed and walked to Filippi's. I'm used to walking by the Little Italy location and forgot they have other locations. One word: old school. From the red gingham tablecloths to the bright Color bread baskets, and why mess w a good thing. We enjoyed a torpedo, soup, and salad lunch special. Everything was spot on and very fresh, as was our server, Cheryl. Please stop by and say hello; she's been there for 14 years With 50s music playing and tasty lunch specials, what else is there? Oh, and they have a full bar, so my next trip will include a cocktail to go with my slice.

Tucked away off the main road, this place feels quiet, intimate, and incredibly charming, with dark walls, candlelight, and wine bottles lining the walls. We arrived at an off hour around 5 PM, so it was especially peaceful. The menu is simple and straightforward, with a generously curated wine list to match. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Crab Dip with a delicious house baguette ($19) and the Pepperoni Focaccia Slab ($17), and everything was fantastic. The ambiance, the food, the wine--it all came together perfectly. The gray sky at sunset somehow made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric and intimate. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and happy to talk about the surrounding area. I will absolutely make a point to stop by again if I am ever back in Temecula.

Wow. Just wow. My…read morebest friend had been raving about Wolf in the Woods for years, so she brought me here for my birthday. As two serious foodies, our expectations were high. This place exceeded every one of them. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, Wolf in the Woods feels like a hidden European café you'd stumble upon while traveling. Sitting outside beneath the umbrellas with a cocktail, watching the neighborhood stroll by. It felt like a little corner cafe in Paris. Then the food arrived. Every plate was beautifully presented, but the real magic was in the creativity of the flavors. The combinations were unexpected, yet every one worked. Every dish had me wondering how on earth someone came up with these pairings in the first place. The Sweet Corn & Piñon Soup deserves a standing ovation. We literally stopped talking after the first spoonful. Rich, savory, slightly sweet, comforting and completely unexpected all at the same time. Both of our eyes rolled back in our heads. The Beef Tataki completely surprised me. The outside had a delicate seared crust, the inside cut like butter, and the citrus pairing made me rethink what flavors belong together. And the mushroom and polenta dish? The mushrooms had an incredible texture--like savory little pieces of mushroom jerky. I would have happily bought a pound of them just to snack on. Every dish felt like it was taking me somewhere I'd never been before, yet somehow felt familiar at the same time. Wolf in the Woods creates an unforgettable experience.

On the wine front, Gata absolutely delivers. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, and it's the kind of place where one glass quickly turns into two because there are simply too many interesting options to pass up. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to matching either the quality of the wine program or the price point. We ordered the deviled eggs, which turned out to be hard-boiled eggs sliced in half with a piece of ham placed on top. When you order deviled eggs, you generally expect, well... the eggs to actually be deviled. We mentioned our disappointment to the bartender, who was wonderful, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. The explanation was that this is simply their interpretation of deviled eggs. Fair enough, but it wasn't an interpretation that worked for us. Ironically, the standout dish of the evening was the pigs in blankets, which is not a sentence I ever expected to write about an upscale wine bar. They were delicious, but they also raised the question of why the rest of the menu wasn't reaching the same level. Looking back, we realized we were the only people actually eating while everyone else was there for the wine. In hindsight, that should have been the clue. I only wish someone had mentioned that before we made the trip over expecting a tapas experience. Gata has so much potential. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine selection is excellent, and the staff were fantastic. If the small plates eventually rise to the level of the wine program, this place could be truly special. Until then, I'd absolutely recommend it for drinks, but probably not for dinner.

I ended up about three blocks away in a residential area on a busy Saturday night. The cozy atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff does a good job weaving among the six tables in the dining room and six on the patio. Conversations are tougher inside. This is a natural wine bar, so some classiciists might not like the styles. Little Victory has a jammed, two-sided wine list (red and white) in incredibly small type. Natural wines often look and taste distinct from conventional bottles. They are frequently unfiltered and unfined, leaving them slightly cloudy with sediment. Expect vibrant acidity and complex flavor profiles that lean toward the earthy, savory. Bottle variation is common. Off-flavors and aromes include mousiness, excess volatile acidity (vinegar notes), or Brettanomyces (wet cardboard). Our waitress was patient and let us taste five whites, which were too funky for most of us (not fruit-driven noses and palates like most California wines). I settled on the Austrian 2024 Wurzinger Grüner Veltliner Früg, $17 BTG. It was cloudy, with some lime, floral, and yeasty nose; tight acids; and a tart finish. We did enjoy a fruity, balanced 2021 Viticultor Goyo Garcia Viadero Joven de Viejas Viñas, Ribera del Duero ($72 bottle; $25 at retail); and a good Temecula red blend, 2023 Lost Ranch Winery Moonshadow (53% Nero d'Avola; 47% Syrah; $17 by the glass). For appetizers, the four of us shared the olives ($8), bread and butter plate ($9), cheese platter ($18), and beef tartare ($25). Other things we shared were the local catch, $33; roasted octopus, $31; and the peach and fennel salad, $22. The octopus drew the most raves. The catch was a bit dry. Service was friendly, very helpful and responsive to our questions about the wines and the different dishes on the menu. The food runners were timely in bringing out our different dishes. Little Victory should do well in this bustling foodie town.

A special shoutout to our bartender, Leah, who was absolutely fantastic. Even with how busy it was, she stayed attentive, friendly, and made us feel taken care of the entire night. We started with the mussels in clam sauce, and they were outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to kick things off. For entrées, we ordered the short rib ravioli and the carbonara. The short rib ravioli was a standout--rich, tender, and packed with flavor. The carbonara, while still enjoyable, could have been executed a bit better.
