We had an overnight at the Cherry Warehouse boutique hotel across the way from this spot so we stopped in for a coffee and breakfast bite before making our way to the airport. The spot has a lot of outdoor and indoor seating and a nice food and bakery selection for a coffee spot. Of course, you can enjoy a variety of great espresso based drinks as well. My husband got his standard latte and I did a drip coffee. The coffee was very strong and robust. We also ordered two breakfast sandwiches, my husband chose the Cadillac and I enjoyed the biscuit Sammy. Both were EPIC! Very delicious and sloppy (thanks to the sriracha aioli). Food came out quickly and hot. Overall, breakfast was $30 (a drip coffee, a latte, and two breakfast sandwiches). This seems pretty reasonable by today's standards and everything was delicious so no complaints on that side of things. Service was fast and friendly, what you'd expect for a quirky and cute coffee/food spot. If you're in the area, stop in, no regerts.

I decided to try out this location since I live not to far from the Mission location. The baristas were nice and our lattes were good. We had a white mocha and a sugar free oat milk hot latte. There was a variety of seating even though there is not a whole lot on the inside, they have a good amount outside but it was cold. The atmosphere was pleasant and chill with a good playlist.

I'll never forget being in my early twenties, working at the Nelson, and going out to lunch with curators here. This place was to me at the time, the coolest little hidden gem that offered great salads and coffee, and a nice patio to boot, all at an affordable cost. Flash forward more than a decade and this Filling Station location might no longer be a hidden gem, but a gem it still is. I believe it's changed ownership at least once in that timeframe but it's still welcoming, bright and airy, filled with charm, and full of great flavors. I most recently came here to take a meeting and it was a great spot for it. I've been coming here on and off for such a long time, and I see no reason why I won't continue to do the same. If you're visiting or haven't ever been here this is a solid cafe that offers a bit more than just your basic pastries and coffee (though those are wonderful). You'll definitely enjoy your visit.

Delicious food and beverages, fun holiday decor and atmosphere, lots of seating options--Filling Station is decked out for the holidays and has many holiday themed drink options. The beverage and food options are so many that i'd wager a bet that almost anyone could find at least one thing they'd eat and/or drink! In fact, my friend and I found many we wanted to try but had to narrow it down and boy was that hard. The service was really good although we initially had to wait to order at the 1 register as the order taker was visiting with the customers in front of us for s good 5+ minutes , who were also her friends. After ordering, we sound a comfy spot to sit, which had comfy chairs surrounding a coffee table. They also have a bar, low top tables, and a long bar in the middle which would be great for large groups or laptop users. Merchandise is available for purchase near the order area. They also have a box and supplies to write encouraging notes to incarcerated or newly released individuals. When our orders were ready, we were each called up to retrieve them. We had 2 different seasonal lattes, I had the biscuits and gravy, and my friend had a sandwich. If you choose to dine in, your coffee is served in one of their assorted mugs/cups and your food is on real plates and real silverware. Both beverages and food items were excellent and a nice touch was the festively adorned lattes. Parking is a little scarce and difficult as there is construction adjacent to their onsite parking but it's definitely worth the effort and

Favorite latte and loved the sandwich! Feels a tad pricey and find it weird they beg for tips, but cute and local and tastes good

Since visiting Japan I've been on the hunt for a Matcha drink and this might be the place. Their drink has other syrup in addition when you get an ICED BLUEBERRY LAVENDER MATCHA LATTE with almond milk. No espresso is included. The brand of green tea powder which has caffeine itself was good flavor, not exactly what my tastebuds remember but still good. Pure matcha can be strong.

The atmosphere of this place is very bright and inviting. The Golden hour sandwich is kinda bad. Biscuit is tasty and flaky but doesn't hold together at all which is kind of important when it bookends a sandwich. Turkey sausage is very subjective taste wise, but this one had too much of whatever the dominant spice was, and it threw off the balance of the whole bite. The lady at the counter was very kind, and the coffee drink (pistachio honey latte) was very, very good--not nearly as sweet as I anticipated and so balanced. Incredibly good. But who knew that nowadays St*rbucks is more of a budget choice for coffee? I do think that the coffee was great but I just don't think I'd come back. The sandwich was so off, I don't know if I'd chance a try at any other food.

This is probably one of my favorite Filling Station locations! The staff were always super nice and friendly. They make better drinks. Just recently been there, got this beautiful and tasty drink. It was very refreshing and bubbly.

Seating outside in triangle park. Have your coffee here!

What a great location. Set up right next to triangle park in a walkable part of the city. The coffee was so good. The baristas were all so sweet and helpful. We came to work for a bit and there are lots of outlets, loads of work space, and the outdoor area is really nice. Definitely a stop in.

The Christmas on beyond of this coffee shop is phenomenal. Set up as Santa ski lodge and you feel like you could be in Santa ski Lodge. The staff are friendly, helpful, and fun to engage with. The food is real present. It is extremely tasty.

    Cool stuff. Great coffee!

Met my agent here for coffee. It was fantastic! Her suggestion. GREAT coffee!! I had a delicious cookie and she enjoyed her turkey sandwich and latte. I can only do 1 cup of coffee a day, so they made me a delightful decaf Americano. They don't have Sweet & Low, but I had some in the car. :) Great space! Very comfortable. Wonderful, helpful staff. Love it.

Great staff! Great drinks! Can't think of another place to hang out especially during the holidays. They have multiple locations but the midtown location is more spacious and it is steps from Union Hill

This place was very packed around 1pm, but slowly became pretty empty by 4pm. They had a few seasonal special drinks, and I tried the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte - super fun and unique! Great place for getting work done or catching up with a friend.

I also got a breakfast burrito (not gf) the second morning, which was delicious + had great heat. The coffee here was also amazing, although I opted for very basic oat milk lattes each morning. My husband got a maple tahini latte one morning + a smoked something or other on the other morning we went. My husband + son got croissants both mornings and loved them, but they also had some seriously cute rainbow donuts on display, which I was a bit shocked that my five year old passed by. The baristas were all very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated + the space was great with an open kitchen concept/plenty of seating. This seems like a great spot to work from, although they also had a wonderful (windy) rooftop to sit on also.. that looked like it had a fireplace for chillier days- so cozy. Best coffee in KC.
