The only department that I have been consistently offered help in is the shoe department. Otherwise, it seems you are on your own. The selection is good. The quality of the items is very good, but their prices are high. I usually only go here if I can't find the equipment we need someplace else for less. They do have volleyball shoes for my daughter, but if you want colors that match the uniform, you'll have to order from a specialty retailer. I find their clothing to be especially expensive. Luckily, I can get certain items like polyester athletic shirts that wick away sweat equally well for a fraction of the price at Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. I think Dick's should offer a better bike selection and some higher end brands. Since there are no bike shops around Parma anymore, Dicks's and Wal-Mart are the only shops that sell bikes. Wal-Mart sells low end bikes, which leaves you with Dick's as the only option for a moderately priced bike in the neighborhood. However, if I'm buying a bike, I'm probably going to make the trip to a nearby bike shop anyway, to ensure I get a quality bike. The Diamondback brand they carry isn't exactly the best quality bicycle on the market. The store is usually spotless so cleanliness isn't an issue. They do mark down team apparel items at times. I am in their rewards program, but I never seem to receive coupons when I need them. Therefore, I have almost never been able to use a coupon to buy something. This is mainly due to the coupons expiring. Why can't they just keep a running rewards balance and apply it to my next purchase like Sears and Kmart? If you've got the money, Dick's probably has what you want.

Let me start off with I Have spent lots of money at dicks over the years with my son playing football. I always do online pick up pretty much. I'm a fulltime working mom and a sports mom.. never have time to take the time to shop in the store. NOT ONCE has anyone EVER asked for my confirmation number or ID. The one time I send my husband to pick up the order which was under his name and I send him the confirmation number they refused to give him the order even with the confirmation number all because he didn't have his ID. After arguing with him, my husband said forget it I'll go in the store and buy it. The lady was a complete Snot and said o well that's all we have. My husband got frustrated and angry and told them to forget it and walked out. I called the store and the manager told me that they won't give anyone a order without and ID. He said people were stealing, I was very stern and said I never been asked for it. He then told me I guess we will make you happy send him back up but I'll get written up for giving it to him with out it. Really?! Wow. So after work and after my sons football practice I drove up checked in mind you it was not in my name but my husbands they walked out and said what's the last name? Told them and they handed it to me without asking for any ID or even i wasn't as a pick up person!!! They are a joke and the attitude we were given and out right was lied to ... I guess I have to say your employees really live up the the company's name... sad excuse for customer service!

I always complained that there's really nowhere hyper local to get ski attire whether for actual skiing or after ski. I found just the place during Lakewood Chocolate Walk - Geiger's! AMBIANCE: Standalone store in downtown Lakewood that's apparently been part of the community since 1932 (wow!) For being such a longstanding retail space it's surprisingly modern. It really reminds me of Eddie Bauer's. The store has multiple rooms of outdoor attire. MERCHANDISE: Most of the attire (predominantly women's and children's) looks like chic athletic-ish attire to wear around Lakewood. Faux fur vests are especially soft and high quality. There is an entire room of skiing gear - skis, ski goggles, and sweaters with ski landscapes. There's also a pretty expansive selection of children's attire. You'll find popular brands like Patagonia and Yeti, and also less known brands. Prices are mostly what you'd expect at a high-end department store. SERVICE: The service at the store wasn't too attentive. Employees were a bit awkward with client interactions. Perhaps because it was busy. Check out this store if you are looking for winter attire like coats, chunky sweaters, gloves, and hats. There are plenty of choices here. I'll come back when I have more time to browse the coat inventory.

Few aisles inside are obstructed (by the cleaning supplies) and are being improved. The bathrooms inside are not fully functional. Family restrooms inside are open. There are several portable toilets outside. Starbucks is mostly out of order - no ice, and no food. Several areas of the store are covered in tarp. Just be aware of not the full Target experience as you're used to it. The store is still pretty well stocked. There are a lot of new fashions for women - cute summer dresses and pants. Swimsuits and beach attire is already out. You can also find a new Pride line. I was surprised to find last year's fashions in store. There was a dress on a rack that I bought last year, and a few other pieces. I was very happy with all the clothing sales. I purchased a very vibrant "Brasil" summer shirt for $7.50! If you're looking for summer tees, check this Target. I also purchased "Papaya" sweater for $28, and a few household necessities. Also of note, Target now carries Krispy Kreme donuts in boxes! I didn't know that's an option but it apparently is. Even in the late afternoon there were a lot of donuts left! Service at the store is pretty attentive. I was able to get quick help when I couldn't find contact lens solution. All the employees I encountered were very pleasant. Overall, if you can overlook the construction, it's not a bad shopping experience. There's large inventory here and better than average customer service.
