Members submit photos to the contest and the best photos are published in the calendar. It's really cool to see local talent from amateur photographers in our 50th State! Note: I'm a member here because I used to work for The City and County of Honolulu. My coworker said that it's better to have more Credit Union accounts and compare interest rates, benefits, etc. Since I was in the area, I went to this branch of Aloha Pacific FCU. It had free shared parking and great air conditioning! The interior was bright and clean with cute Christmas decorations. Unlike the main branch where members speak to tellers via phone - and place ID, checks, cash, and other documents into a tube to send upstairs, this Waimalu branch has face-to-face transactions. I like it better! When it was my turn, I stepped up and asked for a calendar. I was asked how many? Ooh! I got two - one for my kitchen and one for my bathroom... Haha! I never know what day it is! Anyway, I'm glad that I went to the Waimalu Branch of Aloha Pacific FCU. I had gone to the main branch a couple of weeks ago, but the calendars hadn't arrived yet. I say legendary as I was seriously perplexed in all the positive analysis developed just from quick, focused, and efficient $$$ Jodie was able to jot down and calculate. Although I already have a house, I really feel like just a peon on this chess board of life. Thats why I do not see it anywhere close to the end of my story. I am currently 33 and genuinely not a subject matter expert in anything with mortgage, Jodie was able to translate my sloppy knowledge about mortgage processes and flip it into something I can easily understand. Likewise, she also provided me with not only one view, but actually a few different visions, but again this time with the realistic and workable matching information to my actual life/scenario rather than the poor information I sourced just from google ‍. The whole reason I took a few mins to seriously sit down and write this Yelp review was to display the equal level of respect Jodie and Geoff represented. They immediately displayed advanced subject matter expertise and soaring intellectual knowledge about the whole finance mortgage obstacles, and seriously held that standard throughout the meeting and the exact way all the way through the meeting and when we all parted ways. Seriously in the 1-2 hr meeting today, I went in there confident, but afterwards, the awe-inspired vibes and reality reassurance they both provided me gave me one of the best feelings/highs I've had in a very long time. Although I just met them, without Judie or Geoff needing to ask me to recommend them to others, I would in a heart beat share the knowledge they gave me and their contacts now to anyone who needs assistance with mortgage as I want all my friends, family or just anyone I know to surround themselves with the highest levels of respect and treatment as this will lead anybody trying to provide for their family the best they truly can do and show for their hard earned money. The teller was absolutely the worst one that I have been serviced by. First she calls out for the…read morenext member then she completely ignored me while she worked on her computer. After a few minutes she tells me she'll be right with me. Then when I told her my account number, I told her old yeah? And she says yeah. All orher tellers from the other branches just laugh with me but not this one. Then I told her I wanted to withdraw $200 from my checking account, one big bill, 50 $1 bills and the rest in $5. When she counted the money in two batches, the bills were all over the counter, and she just left it there for me to pick up the mess. I will avoid this branch in the future unless I absolutely have to use it and hope I don't get this teller again. I know it's hard to find workers but this one leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I was able to transfer money easily from one to the other! I like Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union for its yearly local calendar. They ask members to submit photos for the theme of the year. For example, one year, the theme was favorite places. This past year, it was pets. In the past, I remember shared recipes. Anyway, the Waikele location is new-looking, clean, spacious, and bright. It felt a bit odd when I was doing my transaction because I think there could be more privacy... Maybe if the line for the tellers was further away from the counters?
