Nope. The shower drain didn't drain well and flooded the bathroom. There was no tissue, no washcloths, no usb ports, and the soundproofing left a lot to be desired. We had booked a two night stay but left after the first night. Unfortunately we couldn't get a refund but the hotel experience was so unpleasant we really couldn't imagine staying another night.

One of the two bars is situated on the ground floor and the other at the top of the building with a superb terrace offering great views. Meals (including bar snacks) are available in the ground floor bar and the restaurant on the first floor is well appointed. If you are after English food, you will probably be hard pressed to find better value. One of the owners, Wayne, provides cabaret virtually every evening in the ground floor bar and there are also other good acts to watch. Prices are reasonable, the staff delightful and the atmosphere is always friendly. Restaurant and bars fully airconditioned. Adjoining the Queens is the Beer Barrel, also owned by them. This is equally a well used hotel by spainish guests and their children, and has a Flintstone theme with organised games and activities. Obviously it has a very Spanish selection with loads of salads, fish, rices & off course my favourite, paella. As we were AI, we had serve yourself White Red Rose Wine & Sangria, Larger & all the pop & fresh juices you could ask for. There was also for the plane eaters plenty of Chips Sausages etc. Ice cream fresh sliced fruit & Spanish sweet stuff fir afters, only problem I sensed was my waist size our room was large with a 40" TV, furniture was a bit dated but other rooms on our floor were updated during our stay. The entertainment at night was first class, high quality stuff with also live English & Spanish football shown in large screen areas. I really enjoyed our stay, we even saw a few of the actors from the TV show Benidorm as they were filming the new series during our stay, but you don't get near the area of the set! Just one word of warning, this hotel has 14 floors! So if you don't like heights you must make that clear when booking. We were on the 9th overlooking the Ocas hotel & pool area and that was high enough for me Overall highly recommend the Sol Pelicanos

Rooms were clean and cool, nice and cozy although being on some of the higher floors made me a little scared and my little brother managed to drop one of his bouncy balls from the toy machines here off the balcony (i have a fear of heights) being right by the beach is great and the surrounding town was very nice to go out and chill in at the evening. overall amazing place, glad to have came here, was so sad to leave.

The food is good but inall honesty I have noticed it deteriorating from the standard it was at 4 years ago. I always stay all inclusive and I feel it represents good value although the mid afternoon snacks tends to be lunchs leftovers. Four stars, two years ago it would of been five.

In the beach town of Denia, the Posada Del Mar sits right next to the harbor, and along the promenade of the town. The building is a 13th century building restored to be a center of hospitality. They moved me from a normal room to a suite on the corner of the 3rd floor looking out to the Balearic and Mediterranean. The hotel lobby is fairly luxurious, a connecting restaurant and bar, plus a great mix of modern and historic design elements. When i got to my room, it was huge. Windows on along all the walls with doors opening out to the harbor. Large bed, huge bathroom, super well appointed and mostly important, super clean. I just wish i was there more than one night as i was just passing through town. Free parking across the street, friendly staff and a beautiful location. Next time i head back to the area ill be sure to return

It's absolutely beautiful! This boutique hotel has all the characteristics you would expect, cosy, warm and tastefully decorated. It has hidden little corners where you can sit down and take a little time for peace and quiet. The reception staff were very welcoming and they even upgraded our room. Which was really appreciated as it was our anniversary! We were given a Junior Suite on the 4th floor with an amazing view of the marina. Even though there was no bar inside the hotel, there's a nice tapas bar adjacent to it, a lovely place to sit out and watch the world go by. The breakfast buffet was also nice, very continental and there's a wide range of choice. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice boutique hotel overlooking the sea. Denia is a lovely and lively place lots of things to do, restaurants and wine bars to choose from. We had a very relaxed and fabulous weekend. Thanks to the staff for making it special! :)

Enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Kaktus, which was referred to me by a local friend. First of all, as…read moremany other reviews have mentioned, it is a little dated. However, there are a few things going for the Hotel Kaktus: 1) location and 2) staff. The Hotel Kaktus is across the street from the beach and in the heart of L'Albir, which makes it incredibly convenient to restaurants, shops, and (of course) the beach. The staff is amazing, especially the front office staff. I accidentally left a bag on the tram, and the team called lost and found for me. The hotel is meticulously clean. I ended up purchasing breakfast with my stay, which was a great way to go, as I don't make decisions really well first thing in the morning. Food is available only from 8am-10am, which gives you a limited slot, but the food is plentiful and decent quality for a buffet. I wouldn't recommend eating here for dinner, as there are lots of decent options within 5-10 minutes walking distance. If you're looking to stay in, there are a few caveats I'd give. First of all, the in-house entertainment is really not geared toward younger people (which is fine). A lot of retirees stay here, which is GREAT if you want a quiet holiday. Many of the balconies overlook the ocean, which was a great way to conveniently relax. However, I would also mention that it's also heavily utilized by smokers, so YMMV if you're a non-smoking asthmatic like myself. I also loved the fact that there was a kettle in the room, which I utilized heavily during my stay. I checked out the gym while I was there, and it wasn't anything to write home about. I ended up doing most of my exercise outside the building, so it wasn't as big of an issue for me. Overall, a solid stay, and really great value for the money.
