Great place to stay, though certainly off the beaten path. You cannot walk here from town, nor can you walk to cafes or markets. The town of Porrerres anyway, is very sleepy. I hardly saw any commercial activity or people walking the streets (mostly just during dusk when folks took out their dogs). However, this finca is very comfortable and service was excellent. Check-in was easy and I learned that the Valentin family owns this mansion, as well as several others across Majorca, Mexico, and Cuba. There are only 15 units in this finca.
I booked the junior suite, which features a large outdoor patio, which I really only used once. There is also a small living area and a king-sized bed. Bathroom has a tub and bidet. I spent most days at my friend's rented AirBnB or out hiking across Majorca, so I didn't have significant down time at the finca. However, I saw herds of goats, a vegetable garden, and had breakfast at the hotel every day. Breakfast was included in my pricing (found on Expedia) and featured a wide array of breads, sweet breads, fruits, cereal, yogurts, and a bloody mary and Prosecco bar. It was an impressive spread for just 15 units. You could also order eggs and hot items with the attendant who kept the buffet well-stocked. I never saw a menu, but shared a request for fried eggs one day and omelettes on others. Dinner can be reserved during breakfast, but I never ate dinner there. They do a barbeque, paella night, and a tapas night for dinners, but I was unable to attend any.
There is a beautiful but small pool, but it is perfect for lounging. I might stay here again if I wanted to "get away from it all" but personally would opt for a hotel closer to maybe Campos or other large town. The inability to walk to anything was not ideal for me. However, parking was super easy, as anywhere near the entrance of the grounds was parking read more
