If you're looking for a mixture of high prices, shoddy workmanship, low quality parts and a dollop of condescension - then my friend, you have come to the right place.
I brought my MacBook Air in a few months ago, as after 4 years of regular use, the display was starting to cut out. For the grand fee of around £300, they replaced the entire display, after their previous attempts (still charged in full) did not solve any of the issues. Perhaps that should have been my warning.
I immeidately noticed that the brightness on the new display was significantly dimmer than the original, but the shop were steadfast in their claims that they only purchase 'genuine parts', and that this wasn't the case.
A few months later, the screen developed a crack from the most minuscule of touches from my index finger, literally just propping it up whilst lying in bed. The store rejected this, saying that as more than 3 months had passed (a laughable warranty period for such an expensive repair btw), that there was nothing that they could do - other than charge for another highly expensive, shockingly low quality repair.
Honestly - you'd be better off taking your equipment apart yourself. read more
