It has been almost 3 months since asking for a refund from Ostling and Abbott. I am STILL waiting…read morefor my check. Every time I call, whoever answers is always so nice and pleasant and assures me she will try to expedite my refund. Yet... nothing. Do NOT do business with this law firm. They don't give a damn about you.

Absolutely worst law firm I have ever dealt with!! Went in for bankruptcy and paid retainer…read moreimmediately even though I explained it may take a bit to get everything actually ready to file but wanted to be prepared and have any fees taken care of while I had the funds to avoid any issues at a later time. Later on in the year my mother passed away and left me an inheritance that left me unable to file bankruptcy as I had the funds to make arrangements going forward. The attorney I spoke with was very friendly and said if bankruptcy wasn't an option anymore they could issue a refund..I wanted a few months as instructed to give time for them to process the refund..then when reaching out to followup I kept getting a receptionist who would take a message and ensure a callback but none would ever come. This continued for 6MONTHS!! 2 -3 calls a week with not 1 return phone call. Finally after 6months someone finally responded and said they would work on it..when finally getting the refund they only refunded the filing fee and claimed ALL other funds were used for their services..majority of which being a charge for taking creditor calls..bear in mind..I hadn't even submitted the list of creditors..took the required credit class or anything beyond just a consultation. When calling to ask about the charges I got a very rude rep who wouldn't even identify herself but merely said you signed a contract and I don't know or care what anyone else told you..this is all your entitled to and hung up. Absolutely most unprofessional law firm/business I have EVER dealt with and I strongly advise anyone looking for representation to run FAR AWAY AND QUICK before considering retaining these crooks. They will only be responsive when it benefits them. Anything beyond that they will ignore messages, refuse callbacks and get attitude when you finally actually get someone on the line.

Dear Zach Pashea I…read morehope you are doing well. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent work you performed in handling my accident case. From the very beginning, you demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and a deep mastery of legal procedures. You kept me informed at every stage of the process and ensured that I fully understood the options available to me--something that provided me with confidence and peace of mind during this trying period. I particularly appreciated your dedication, your attention to detail, and your determination to achieve the best possible outcome. Your hard work and expertise truly made a difference in my case, and I am deeply grateful for your support. Once again, thank you for the exceptional quality of your services. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in need of a competent and reliable attorney. Sincerely,

Absolutely horrendous. I can't point fingers at every person in this office because it would be…read moreunfair, but this is about Don. From the get go, I spoke with an attorney that seemed eager and ready to take on my case at this office and somehow, by some horrible turn of misfortune, my case was passed to Don. During consultation, Don seemed completely disinterested and when I brought him more documentation, I was told "I'm the attorney, not you." Great start and a foreshadowing of things to come... Just a fun little added bonus was the string of butt-dialed calls I got from the secretary while she was at a bar one evening. Super professional. I wish I was joking. Back to Don. At the court date, Don showed up unenthusiastic and unprepared. He mostly sat in silence or fumbled through what little paperwork he did bring to court that day while being outclassed in every way by the opposing NOVICE attorney. He said maybe five words during the entire case and wanted to fold and settle without me or him interjecting once. Needless to say, we lost that case. However, I did hire a different law firm at a later date and won with the same documents that were presented to Don... And before someone from the office gets on here and says he was prepared or tries to say these claims are false, read the reviews around the internet about Don personally. He's rude and unprepared. Maybe he was a good lawyer like 50 years ago, but those days are long gone. Hopefully he's since exited the business.
